It's not always that you get great vibes and even better food especially at a Pakistani restaurant. So the fact that we got a gem like this in corona of all places??? So exciting! From the aromatic biryani to the authentic chicken karahi, I was in heaven. This place is definitely a must try and is so cute would be perfect to bring family that's visiting from out of town!

Chicken 65 Darkah Daal Garlic Naan

The ambience was so vibey. Every dish was bursting with flavor. We ordered the chicken 65, darkah daal, and beef paya. You can tell a lot of care went into the food here. Service was just as impressive. Super attentive without being overbearing and they gave us the best recommendation: mango mojito (mocktail). SO good I'm still craving it 10/10 experience. Already planning my next visit!

Absolutely wonderful!…read more Our first visit (and many more will come): warm welcome, amazing service, delicious food! We tried Al Karam out as we were told that the restaurant is the best Pakistani restaurant in the Inland Empire and this is 100% true! Veggie Pakora: just the right amount of spices - deliciously crispy and tender on the inside. Lamb Karahi: tender lamb in a wonderful tomato based sauce. we were asked for spice level: asked for level 7 out of 10 (will try higher next time). Paneer Tikka Masala: Paneer texture was just right (often and easy for overcook), flavors were great! Portion is large Mango Lassi: what a great treat! Garlic Naan and Large Rice: great side dishes - cooks take their time to prepare them, a sign of the general super high quality! Highly recommended! Everyone was friendly and welcoming, which made the visit more enjoyable. Prices are around $20 per plate, which is reasonable, especially since we ordered a few dishes and shared everything. Service-wise, the wait time was a bit longer than expected. Our food took about 30 minutes to come out, and it felt even longer considering it wasn't a busy weekend. Not a huge issue, but something to keep in mind if you're really hungry. Food was interesting in a good way. The curry dishes have a lighter color and a different flavor compared to typical Indian cuisine. You can tell it's a Pakistani style. I enjoyed trying something different, although I personally still prefer the richer, more familiar Indian flavors. The samosas were very good, and the green sauce, I believe it's called hari, was especially delicious and added a nice kick. The mango lassi drink was a surprise highlight. I'm usually not a big fan of mango lassi, but this one was super delicious. Honestly felt like a hidden gem on the menu. ***One thing to note, check your receipt before paying. They already include an 18% gratuity, and there's still a section to add an additional tip. Overall, the food was delicious, portions were satisfying, and we all left full and happy. Solid 4 stars. I'd come back again, just with a little patience for the wait.

I almost started crying I got so excited. I said I wanted the big one so he weighed them both for me. We took my prize sheep to the back and the butchers proceeded to ask me how I'd like it cut. "No thank you" I said and asked about the gland, they had already removed it. We love that. However they kept asking me how I wanted it cut and this is when I started to get protective of little Lucius. I had been thinking of names the whole way there you see. I knew he was a Lucius the moment I saw him. Anyway, I told them I wanted to cut! A little shrilly I might add. Well, that certainly got the point across as they all laughed and apologized. I grabbed a trash bag off the shelf and said let's go! We bagged em and they even carried him to my car! Well that was just the beginning. They write songs about how far Lucius and I traveled together. Literally over 500 miles... you get it. He kept very well in my cooler in the car over night, which is where we both slept. All the way until the big reveal the next day! We took the chill off his bone, gave him the most fabulous exfoliating massage with s, p, cumin mustard and garlic. Then cooked him for 8 hours. Let me tell you this was The best lamb ever served in the dark of that campsite. With out a doubt. And with a lot of pita. 10/10 would recommend.

The food arrived still hot & packed nicely. It looked amazing and smelt so good. We got the rice platter, which has different choices of meat they offer. We got the lamb & chicken platter, which has the meat over rice with lettuce topped with cucumber & tomatoes. Sauce can be requested on the side so we got the white and green sauce on the side since we weren't sure of the spice level in the sauce. The white sauce is good and subtle flavor and the green sauce was good as well and had a kick to it which was really nice when mixed in with the white sauce. I recommend that if you like spicy food. If not, just stick to the white sauce. The meat was tender & flavorful. I wish they added more cucumber & tomatoes on top of the lettuce. The amount we did get was good and refreshing with the lettuce provided. Definitely will eat this again & make it there in person to check out the vibes.

Total came out to $22.26 after taxes, plus a $2.70 tip. Staff were friendly, the dining area was clean, and although no one was dining in at the time, there were plenty of pickup orders coming through. Unfortunately, the food simply sucked and I didn't even finish. The fries tasted like they were cooked in old oil -- you could tell by the dark coloring and overall taste. The gyro was small, expensive for the portion and quality, and the taste was just okay at best. I believe this is a franchise, but I personally won't be trying it again. Let's just say I was upset that I had not gone to the Jack in the Box in the same plaza instead -- and that's not something I'd normally choose to eat.

Be aware of the cockroaches…read more I've visited this restaurant a few times before, and up until today, my experiences had been positive--friendly staff and good food. Unfortunately, today completely changed my perspective. As I was getting ready to pay, I noticed cockroaches walking across the countertop, which was extremely concerning. Around the same time, the staff informed me that their system was down and that I would need to pay using Zelle. They also appeared to notice the cockroaches and quickly tried to cover my food while giggling and speaking among themselves. Their behavior made me feel very uncomfortable, especially since they seemed nervous and were urging me to follow them and send payment. I didn't want to cause a scene, but I felt uneasy. I told them I didn't have Zelle and didn't have time, and I decided to leave without taking the food. As I was leaving, I noticed the staff who had seen me looking at the cockroaches speaking to others and giving me strange looks, which added to the discomfort. Due to this experience, I will not be returning. Cleanliness and professionalism are extremely important, and this situation was very disappointing.
