Wow!! Fold test again and it didn't fall apart!!
    Faye A.

Pulled up to Badlands BBQ like a brisket-seeking missile and wow... zero regrets, only hungry foodie energy!!!! Ordered the brisket plate with jalapeño mac and cheese and chipotle corn, and let me tell you, the mac came in swinging!!! It had kick!!! Creamy, cheesy, with just enough jalapeño heat to remind you it has personality!!!!! The chipotle corn was sweet, smoky, and dangerously scoopable!! Now the brisket... oh, the brisket!!! Vynikající!!! Smoky, juicy, and passed the sacred fold test like a champ.... bent without breaking, just like my willpower around good BBQ. It definitely knew exactly what it was doing!!!!!! Final verdict: everything slapped!!! I will most absolutely be back the next time I'm working in the area. Eager to try other items on the menu!! Yummmeeez!!!

Mac n cheese, cornbread, potato salad, and their brisket.

I think I just found my new favorite BBQ spot! We ordered the jalapeño cheddar hot links as well as the brisket, mac n cheese, potato salad, macaroni salad, mashed potatoes and fries and everything was absolutely delicious. The brisket was tender and juicy while the hot links had just that right amount of kick. Out of all the sides, I'd say the potato salad and mac n cheese were our favorite. The combos also came with some cornbread which balanced everything out with that sweet taste. Overall it was an excellent choice . Great food, great service and clean. Highly recommend

Since I was first introduced to this place, I've been coming back here almost on a normal because their meat is just good quality with quick service. Among the different meats they have there, I have not been able to get any of the ones they're always sold out of, but they're briskets pretty solid and by far I love just their chicken. Selection of barbecue sauce is limited but overall great quality meats. Among the sides, the ones I would aim for is the esquite or corn. This place also has a bar and a lot of seating so a great place to moderate size parties (6-8 people)

This local Norco BBQ gem is a must try! From the meats to the sides, everything is made in house here. Had to try something I've never had on their menu which is their chophouse burger. It's loaded with burger meat blended with chopped brisket, so good! The redskin potato salad was delicious as well! My friends got the 2 meat combo to share with sides. It fills them up! Great service and worth stopping by for some good delicious Texas style homemade BBQ!

My in laws wanted to meet us here for lunch over the weekend. My lovely monster...ahem...sweet mother-in-laws friend said this place was good so we decided to all give it a shot and WE WERE NOT DISAPPOINTED!!! SONG OF THE DAY to play along to this YELP REVIEW: Sweet Dreams by Beyoncé... You can be a sweet dream or a beautiful Badlands BBQ Either way I don't wanna wake up from you Sweet dream or a beautiful nightmare Badlands BBQ Somebody pinch me Your BBQ is too good to be true... CHIPOTLE CORN: 10/10 I love the portions of the 16 oz. It was enough for a part of 5. The flavor was nice and balanced. It wasn't too over bearing with cheese or mayo. I just thought it was a little on the wet side... BRISKET: 10/10 Was the STAR OF THE SHOW!! I finished 3 strips and took some home as well. WOW!! That must be their SIGNATURE DISH!!! FRENCH FRIES: Was really nice and CRISPY!!! I liked it more than the sweet potato fries GREEN APPLE COLESLAW: 8/10 It was a bit too WET which made the Cole slaw soggy. I'm comparing it to my favorite Cole slaw at Wood Ranch so maybe that wasn't fair but, if you like wet and soggy coleslaw then this is the ONE for you!! SERVICE: A++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++Everyone was so friendly and helpful. It was out first time so we didn't know what to order and they did not rush us at all. The cashier and staff were very accommodating and friendly ;) Very hometown comforting atmosphere and family friendly... ROCK ON BADLANDS BBQ!!! I need to tell my YELPIESSOCAL about this!!!

This has to be the best barbecue place in the CITY OF NORCO. Many think that it's not in Norco because it's right on the edge it doesn't matter. The number one thing Badlands barbecue has is consistency and great guest service. They are always extremely polite, friendly, and ready to serve. They keep their prices competitive even in this tough economy and market with beef and pork prices going through the roof. The restaurant is separated into two different areas. One is just for quick dining and your takeout orders very inviting and the other side is more like a saloon. They have a number of outstanding beers on tap and you can get great table service. Now onto the food. The barbecue is very good. I usually get the triple threat so I can share some with my wife. My normal take is the brisket, baby back ribs, and the jalapeño cheddar sausage. My sides consist of the apple coleslaw and the brisket baked beans. Everything comes with a side of cornbread. My wife always gets the half barbecue chicken. I love the dark meat. She prefers the white. And she'll take a couple of the ribs and some brisket. From my plate. Every time we've been in the service is outstanding and the food is very good. I have been to one of the other barbecue places in the CITY OF NORCO and there is no comparison. Save your money save your time and come here. Some places think they stick Texas in their name, It will give them more credibility it doesn't. Crumb support a small business owner, who takes care of his customers and provides good food at a strong value.

Was so hyped to try this spot and left so underwhelmed. Not worth the 45 minute drive to Norco. Maybe they just had a bad day, who knows ‍ Service was great thank you Haley with the bright blue eyes, awesome service, making recommendations and staying on top of it! The portions were good sizes, four people knocked out the big daddy sampler, bbq nachos, and the Mac and cheese (16 ounce) and we all tapped out after that. Not a fan of beer and that's pretty much all they offer here besides wine and some seltzers. Don't get me wrong, if you lather your food in BBQ sauce it's a solid 4/5 but my reason for a 3/5 is due to the fact that you pretty much NEED to put so much BBQ sauce all over your food otherwise it lacks flavor. The brisket, pulled pork, even the BBQ chicken wings that already have BBQ sauce lacked sauce. I found myself putting BBQ sauce on every bite just to enjoy it. One thing I didn't need to put sauce on was the baby back ribs MEATS In order from most favorite to least favorite: #1 Baby Back Ribs #2 Pulled pork #3 BBQ Chicken Wings #4 Brisket #5 Jalapeño Cheddar Hot link BBQ Nachos (Brisket) 3/5 The nachos were okay. I don't think I'd order again but if I do, I'd definitely go with pulled pork. The nachos lacked BBQ although they're called "BBQ nachos." It had beans, cheese, sour cream, pico de gallo, jalapeños and of course the Brisket. The chips were good, nice and sturdy enough to hold a chip with a little bit of everything on it without breaking. Jalapeño Bacon Mac & Cheese 4/5 Didn't have much jalapeño to it. Didn't taste any spice whatsoever but the Mac & Cheese itself was good, nice and creamy with bacon bits. It's just missing some BBQ pulled pork (which I in fact put some pulled pork to the side and put it inside the Mac 5/5 would recommend)

5 STARS & Texas native approved! Now I know this isn't Texas style bbq but as a southerner this is the best bbq I've found in my area and I've been looking for years! We ordered fried pickles, turkey, brisket, chicken and ribs. For sides we got side salads, corn bread, potato salad, fries and chipotle corn. Nothing disappointed. I'm a big BBQ TURKEY fan and this was delicious, moist, smoky. So good! I loved the brisket, it was a little fatty but I actually don't mind that at all. The ribs were probably our favorite! Paired with my favorite sauce, the habanero sauce, everything was truly spectacular! The corn was great, but the potato salad was incredible. I would buy a tray of it. We sat on the full service side and our server Madison was the best. She made great recommendations, so kind and patient. She was fantastic. I can't wait to come back and bring our friends!

    Michelle M.

All I have to say is the food is bomb. The corn in a cup was off the chain. The meat melts in your mouth it is pretty expensive, but it's well worth it. The portion sizes could be bigger too, especially for the sides.

Walked up on this place and it was so packed, I soon understood why. I am a BBQ guy, I look for good Que everywhere I travel. This hidden gem in Norco had me shaking my head like where are we, Dallas? Memphis? Seriously folks, no lie. Great Bbq feel on the inside, rustic, welcoming. Line moved fast and service was friendly and they were patient and gentle with me...it was my first time. Cali Sammy was monsterous! Huge with a ton of flavor, better have a big mouth for this one. Triple threat with brisket, smoked wings and turkey, yes, smoked turkey was on point. I love smoked turkey but it is so hard to find and sometimes dry, not at Badlands! Had to order a jalapeno cheddar sausage too, just for good measure. Potato salad and beans rocked it and cornbread was good, again, moist. If you haven't been here go, don't wait, don't ask your mom, don't pass go and collect $200, just go! Best BBQ IN Corona area for sure, I on the overall list in the IE!

We were in the area on the way home from Palm Springs and my husband has been raving about this bbq for a long time and finally got to try it! Meats are very tender and they have a good selection of sides! We love their pickles chips! Will definitely return when we are in the area!!

Came here with friends during lunch hour & got some items from the "lunch deals" section. For the lunch deals, we got the 2 chicken tacos, which comes with chips & salsa. There was a decent amount of chips and salsa and the tacos were a good size & had good flavors. 8/10 for the chicken tacos. My friend got the traditional wings (6 piece) lunch deal which comes with a side of fries & celery. The sizes of the wings look decent & she enjoyed the meal. Our party also got the steak tacos & steak nachos. This time, there was a decent amount of steak on the nachos and it paired perfectly with everything. The first time we came here and we got the nachos during our last visit, there was barely any steak on the nachos so I'm glad they corrected it and making it better. 8/10 for the nachos. Drinks: my group mainly got beer so they were all good & happy with it. I wanted a margarita flight and well, that was pretty disappointing. It was supposed to be 4 different flavors/drinks with tequila. But where was the tequila? I felt that they should've been upfront with it on the menu and called it a mocktail or something because when we didn't taste any tequila in it, we asked the waitress & she mentioned to us that there is only 1 shot of tequila for the whole flight...like what?! That flight cost $20 so you're telling me I'm basically buying $20 worth of juice since the tequila is non-existent?! That was truly disappointing to hear & even the waitress said she would never recommend the flight because of it and it wasn't fun to make. So do better Brass Tap, either add more tequila to your flight to make it actually worth $20 or just remove it all together from your menu. Deceiving & a total waste. 0/10 for the flight. Thankfully the waitress removed it from our bill without issue & got me the watermelon margarita to replace it. Much better and you can taste some tequila in it (not much but a lot more than what was sprinkled onto the flight). 6/10 for the watermelon drink. Overall the service is decent and the space is decent for small groups. There's seating at the bar area and tables inside and outside. Decor was typical for these type of place. Plenty of parking as well. Will I be back? Maybe if drinks are better.

The only downside was the limited food options. Inside the market, there were really only two choices: a chicken spot and a pizza place. We went with the pizza, and the pizza itself was really good. Unfortunately, the wings were extremely disappointing -- way overcooked and over-seasoned. Pro tip: there's a Wingstop literally right outside in the same parking lot.
