3 out of the 4 steaks were pretty awesome. The 4th was supposed to be med rare and came out medium well. Waitstaff didn't check back so the person in our party ate a bit of it . When the server came back she was told about the steak. She apologized and took a bit of money off the bill. The steak was cut and pulled away from the bone when it was served which in our opinion is totally unacceptable. The explanation we were given made no sense. Drinks are super expensive . Tables are way too close together. There was no one at the table behind us which was good because when we needed to get up there was absolutely no where to move. No salt and pepper on the tables. Suggestions would be to add a bit more atmosphere. Offer bread or rolls with dinner or prior to. Consider a different type of plate or use placemats. The plates slide all over the table and spin. Not a good thing when trying to cut a steak. We might go back after they have been running a while. Don't get me wrong though. 3 of our steaks were awesome! read more

I had an unexpectedly great experience at this steakhouse, and it definitely exceeded my expectations. While you'd normally come here for the steaks, I decided to switch it up and ordered the chicken fettuccine along with the steak frites--and both dishes were seriously impressive. The chicken fettuccine was rich, creamy, and perfectly seasoned. The pasta was cooked just right, and the chicken was tender and flavorful, not dry at all like you sometimes get at other places. It had that comforting, homemade feel but with a more elevated, restaurant-quality touch. The steak frites, though, were the highlight. The steak was cooked exactly to my liking--juicy, well-seasoned, and full of flavor with a great sear on the outside. The fries were crispy and fresh, pairing perfectly with the steak. You can tell they pay attention to quality here. The atmosphere was also on point--nice balance between upscale and relaxed, making it perfect for a date night or even just a solid dinner out. Service was attentive without being overbearing, and everything came out in a timely manner. We entered the restaurant and the inside was busy for a weekday. It was a business meeting being held. Not very conducive for that due to the noise level and acoustics. I had the steak and fritters, cook as ordered and the fries were good. I'd rate them as a little too salty. My friend had the flat iron steak, and enjoyed it. Cam was our server and was spot on. I came here for lunch on a Saturday since it is pretty close to the cemetery where I spent my morning. There was a lot of empty seating. They have a lunch menu so I decided to order the smokehouse burger which was a bit cheaper than the other things on the menu. We also ordered a steak and calamari. The calamari was an appetizer but the portion was huge we were it as a meal. The burger was huge too I ate it in two separate parts. The steak was cooked to our liking and the butter on top was delicious! I would love to know the name of the butter flavor. We went in with no expectations, saw steak place. It looked good. And we decided to give it a shot. And absolutely loved everything. The meats were well seared and seasoned. The sides were delicious. The service was phenomenal. They advertise it as an upscale steakhouse for this area. Not LA upscale, but like Norco area upscale. It had a very cute ambience very western totally fit the vibe of the city. I love how you can see where all the steaks are being aged. I was in the area this past weekend and was recommended this restaurant as I was told they had recently started serving lunch. I didnt see any steak options as part of the lunch menu, so I went with the Chicken Chimichurri Sandwich. It came with fries and I also added on a side salad. The salad was amazing as the onions were soaked in a type of balsamic with fruit tones. They were SO good! The fries were really good also. Fries arent hard to mess up but not all places can do them well. These were really good. The sandwich I was a little underwhelmed with. I didnt taste any chimichurri which I was really looking forward to. It has arugula though which I am obsessed with and added great flavor to the sandwich! I definitely would have ordered a steak plate if it was offered for lunch. I did get the dinner menu as well and was told I could order from that. I also had a glass of the J Lohr Chardonnay and it was crisp and perfect. The service was impeccable. The gal that sat me and was my waitress was so friendly and attentive. What I believe was the manager came over and said hello and I shared it was my first time there and that it was recommended to me. I joked with my friend who is local to this restaurant I was going to go check it out, have lunch and maybe wrangle me a Norco Cowboy. I was the only one there for lunch, so that didnt happen but I will definitely come back for lunch again when I am in the area. Good here is superb! They also have a meat market and we love going there. But imagine not just fresh steak from the butcher but they cook it for you! Not only do they cook it they serve yummy drinks! Came here for of course the steak, the drinks and the charcuterie board. This is the only place I can try the cheeses I would like or not. LOL. The owner here, Nicole is on fire! She knows how to run shop at all locations and she's always running in every direction to make sure her customers have a wonderful experience. The ambiance is nice here. You can actually see the cooks cooking if you're sitting close to the kitchen side. We don't have many steakhouses in our area and this one is hands down one of the best! This is a great steakhouse! Great ambience with the meat cellar visible in the dining room and great country charm. Our server was attentive and had great energy and knowledge of the menu. He walked us through the menu and gave us great suggestions. The food was amazing! The candied bacon slab was tender with just the right amount of sweetness. We also ordered the tomahawk steak, Mac and cheese, calamari and shishito peppers and lobster tails. Tomahawk steak melted in your mouth, Mac and cheese was cheesy but not over powering, calamari had a good light crispy coating and lobster tails were big and fresh! A new steakhouse in the neighborhood?!!! We had to try. It's a good 5-7 min drive from the fwy(depending on how you drive). It was a little on the pricey side for lunch but worth the experience. Upon arriving, with no reservations on a Wednesday afternoon, we were promptly seated and given the menus. We chose a lunch and a steak plate. It was alright. The fries were a little over seasoned aka too salty. Requested a hot sauce and they mentioned that they do not have it, but they offered some kind of chipotle ranch which turned out to be $3++ for that sauce. Could have mentioned it prior. I have been here 3 times. The first 2 experiences were amazing. The Steak Ribeye and Porterhouse were cooked to perfection. Also their Wedge Salad was so delicious. The 3rd time I came me and my wife decided to order Wedge Salads. I had mine with Steak. They brought hers out first and it took at least 10 extras minutes to bring mine out and by that time she was done. They should have planned to bring out at the same time. On top of that my wedge salad was smaller than normal and barely any dressing, I had to ask for more dressing. Secondly we decided to share a Porterhouse steak ($89) which the time prior it was huge and cooked to perfection. When we got it we noticed it was smaller then the last time we ordered but worst of all It had absolutely NO Seasoning and no taste. We had to add so much salt to add flavor. We let the chef know and instead of asking to recook one for us He only gave us $17 off a $89 Steak. It was a Huge disappointment, oh and they waiter gave us a free scoop of ice cream. But spending basically $100 on a Steak it should have been perfect or near perfect. This steak had NO flavor, No Seasoning. I don't know if we will return. Came here recently and was seriously impressed. Norco doesn't really have that "nice steakhouse" feel nearby, so this place was such a pleasant surprise. The atmosphere is beautiful, especially the bar area. It feels elevated but still comfortable and welcoming. We sat at the bar and had a great experience. The bartender was amazing, super friendly, attentive, and easy to talk to. Honestly, the whole staff was warm and welcoming, which made a big difference. The menu has a great variety. Plenty of steak options along with salads, sandwiches, and sides, so there's something for everyone. Everything we ordered was flavorful, fresh, and clearly made with care. The drink selection also stood out. They offer a wide variety of alcohol, great cocktails, and a solid wine list. It's the kind of place you can come for a full dinner or just enjoy a drink at the bar. They also have a lunch menu, which is a nice bonus and gives us another reason to come back. Visited Brunks during their first week (soft opening/limited menu) and we were thoroughly impressed. Everything ran so smoothly during the soft opening, we thought they had been open longer. We ordered the filet mignon, flat iron, Cesar salad, Brussel sprouts and Zinfandel wine. Our steaks were cooked to perfection and the brussel sprouts were also amazing. Unfortunately, we didn't do dessert because they only had an ice cream dessert (we are NOT ice cream people). Our server assured us the full menu will definitely have some options. The only (and I mean ONLY drawback were the short barstools for the high bar top). We met Nicole Brunk (one of the owners) and she said they were working on getting the taller barstools :) Overall, the food was AMAZING, the servers were all excellent and the owner was incredibly nice and helpful. I was super impressed finding this gem of a steakhouse in an old Circle K building in the middle of a Norco neighborhood. I needed a last minute Valentine's Day reservation and was able to book super easy online with two spots left. We arrived 40 minutes early and were able to wait at the bar to enjoy a drink waiting for our table. Strawberry lemon drop and old fashioned were excellent though $25 for an old fashioned seemed high, could've been the brand but super smooth. Vday was limited to a prefix menu starting at $125 a person but included everything we would've ordered and more. There were other add on items but didn't seem necessary. My only recommendation is that the complimentary bread not be so hard to bite. Wedge salads very delicious, calamari has great seasoning and not chewy, filet and strip steak cooked and seasoned perfectly as one would expect at this price point. Mashed potatoes and asparagus very good, and to finish the vanilla ice cream chocolate cake was perfect portion to end with. Overall the staff said this is still in soft opening phase since August 2025 and will have grand opening at end of this month February 2026. I would recommend this small restaurant to others to try as a local alternative to the bigger steakhouses. I look forward to seeing how this spot turns out, I imagine it'll only get busier and harder to get a reservation seeing how great this place is. read more

Norco finally has a worthy upscale but low key date night spot. First, the parking lot will be packed so come early. And for good reason: everything was great here - the service, the beverages, the meal. My lemon drop was absolutely perfect, thick rim of sugar, thin slice of lemon floating in a balanced beverage that tasted like fresh squeezed. Our server Michael H. was awesome, attentive at just the right times, explaining menu items and gave great suggestions. Their servings are big, so we opted to share a wedge salad (crisp, with just the right amount of blue cheese, chunky bacon and more) Brussel sprouts with pecans and bacon, more than we could finish, and an 18 oz t-bone that was melt in my mouth delicious. Between two of us, we finished the salad and brought home a third of the sprouts and steak. The steak options will have us back again soon. With sports on multiple tvs, finished concrete floors, simple chic furnishings, and open views of the kitchen and bar, Brunk's is casual enough for a hoodie and nice enough for your bling-iest jeans. Went here for the first time last week. Had heard good things about them and have bought meat from their stores before. I knew it would be expensive, but for what they give you not worth the price, especially the drinks. The restaurant is small, but quaint, but loud if a lot of people in there. Our server was very good and attentive. Always checking to make sure we were ok. I tried to order the J'adore chicken they were out, then tried to order the salmon also out. Ended up with the hanger steak, very good, but they didn't have any chimichurri sauce. Not sure I will be going back anytime soon between the price and being out of multiple menu items. Great steaks. We had an assortment. All cooked perfect. The mac & cheese is incredible, get the truffle oil added. The asparagus was not a good flavor profile for the 4 of us...less is more. Aspargus requires no goop on top ;) Wedge salad not very plentiful but full of great flavor. 6pm Wednesday was nice and quiet....for 30 minutes...then it was a full house and the noise level was so high we were shouting to hear one another. That wasn't great. Not a romantic date night. .groups of 10 easily accommodated. Next to us we witnessed the Real Housewives of Norco with enough silicone to rival Beverly Hills...lol. Great food. Pricey, but quality over quantity is what we were searching for. Waiter very young but did a great job. He's making some FAT tips in this place :) It was a nice dining experience overall. We love BRUNKS ! My family has been eating meat from the Brunks Butchery since we moved to Norco 4 years ago. We ONLY buy our meat from Brunks, its honestly the best quality around here. You can taste the difference. We are SOO happy that the Steakhouse has opened and we can now enjoy the best steaks cooked for us!! The Steakhouse is so beautiful inside and the staff is awesome! I'll start off with the food was good but my steak was over cooked. They did however ask if I wanted to get a new steak. The experience was not so great. I ordered an appetizer and never received it. I also ordered a second drink which I never received but I believe it was never placed because it was not on our bill and the server never mentioned it. I do have to mention the place was not very busy when we dined. The staff had a few chances to stand around and talk to each other. I wouldn't have a problem with that if we received our food or drink as ordered. If the experience was better I would have given it more stars. Date night, success! We've been looking for a steakhouse in the area that could deliver exceptional quality and craftsmanship steaks. The hunt was on, until we found Brunks. The hostess was super accomplished and very professional. (We had a reservation, but came in a little early). Note: book a reservation, it is practically mandatory. Our waitress was phenomenal. Mattea was super knowledgeable of the menu, answered our 21 questions, and checked on us regularly. (Didn't ever have to ask for refills). The food itself was outstanding. I had the Steak Frites (I consider myself an aficionado of the dish). While it is not a traditional version of the dish, the steak was exceptionally cooked and incredibly tender. The fries were cooked in tallow, and the roasted corn topping was an unexpected, and appreciated flare. My wife has the New York steak, which also was cooked to perfection. I'm a bit of a steak snob, I have to admit, so let's get right to it - my medium rare ribeye was PERFECT! It melted in my mouth. It had marbling that added great flavor and the butter on top was delicious. It needed absolutely nothing else - the quality of the meat spoke for itself. I can't wait to go back for another steak! I also got to try the mashed potatoes, which were creamy and delicious. My house salad was enjoyable and I could tell the ranch was house-made! The mushrooms were good as well. My other big highlight of the meal though was the White Lyon lemon ice cream. This is an exclusive to Brunk's - it won't even be served at White Lyon. It's a perfect pairing if you ask me, because a light refreshing dessert was great after a hearty steak and otherwise heavy meal. The ice cream tasted like a plain vanilla, but had lemon zest and lemon juice, a bit of salt, and then honey drizzle. I love nothing more than an Old Fashioned with my ribeye. My Old Fashioned was good, and I loved the double bourbon cherry, but I do wish it was one big ice cube instead of crunchy ice. The crunchy ice melted too fast/watered down the cocktail a bit. I was here for a private event before opening night, and I can't wait to return and try all the other side dishes - but I will never go and NOT order a medium rare ribeye. We were very much looking forward to trying this new streak house. Once they finally opened we got to see the menu. I think they lost their way. This is Norco. Not Beverly Hills. Everything is single served and over priced. We calculated out to have a dinner for 2 not even including drinks or appetizers, we were looking at over 350 bucks. Just for 2 of their lower end steaks and 2 sides. Suffice to say we are very disappointed. You can get an excellent steak here not even a mile away, full dinner for 2, including drinks, appetizers, desserts for under 100 dollars, in a nicer atmosphere. I don't know what Brunks was thinking but I think they need to consider lowering thier prices to a more acceptable range or move their location to one where people can actually afford to pay way too much for their food. read more

Three of us went to this steakhouse in Norco. The restaurant was staffed entirely by white employees and most of the patrons were white as well except 1 large party. Three servers walked past us (greeted) before we were sat. It was a bit busy but not one employee could have sat us... whatever. When a server came, we asked to sit at a larger table that seats eight. They refused, saying they were holding it in case a bigger party came in, that's understandable. The only other options were a cramped corner table or two small tables that only sat two, so that wasn't an option. We decided to just sit at the bar instead. About twenty minutes later, two old white customers came in and were immediately seated at the large eight-person table we had been told wasn't available. At that point, we chose to leave. I'm sure the food might be good but Norco will continue to be Norco. All money is green. read more
