The food is made to order so be patient because it's so worth it. The flavors are all on you, so you need to make sure you put enough sauce on your ingredients. Tell them #1 & #2 for more flavor when cooking. If you want to add steamed rice then tell them #3 for $1 more. We usually pack up two bowls and it comes out to around $32 for both of us plus leftovers for us. They offer egg drop soup if you eat there and it's yummy. Typical Mongolian place, food was laid out buffet style for you to fill the bowl to be cooked. The way is 8 bucks a pound, a fair price. Only had the beef and the beef quality was good. Veggies appeared fresh. All the sauces were difficult to reach, I couldn't image anyone taller that 6 feet trying to get the sauces and anyone 5'2" or shorter trying to get lemon juice and ginger sauce all the way in the back. It is family owned so kids are running around and in the back of the cook area. So not professional, and kids shouldn't be in the cook area regardless for their own safety and food safety for all the customers. The scale used to figure out the cost is not weights and measured and the scale is definitely not calibrated or tared out on each fresh order. My scale showed .04 before the worker put it on the plate. I wasn't going to complain on that as it is just .34 cents but this is about professionalism and perceived honesty both in price and work ethics. The food itself was fine, they added salt and pepper on the grill and teriyaki sauce as well. But the flavors seem to all burn off. I think the sauces they provide are not concentrated enough and too watered down to have any impact of the final flavor after cooking. I doubt I will be back but if you need to get a Mongolian fix this spot will work well. read more

Got an ad in the mail so we decided to try this place out. When we first arrived, it was pretty quiet inside with 2 people eating. The presentation of the veggies/protein was good, only complaint was that there were a few gnats flying around so we picked from the bottom of the containers. Once you pack all your items in the bowl, you head over to the counter for them to cook it & check you out. Here's where the sketchy part comes in, the cashier asks "1, 2, or 3" meaning "salt/pepper (1), teriyaki sauce (2), or rice (3)". Everywhere we've gone before in and out of CA always comes with a complimentary side of white rice. Our food weighed 2.52lbs but the cashier added the rice container on top of our food bringing the total weight to 3.07 lb. This was an issue, especially because they did not charge us the correct amount of $6.99/lb, they charged $7.99/lb and didn't say anything about it. The food was good, your typical Mongolian, but nothing outstanding. I'm not sure whether we'll return or not just because of their sketchy business practices of overcharging customers and not being transparent that rice is an extra charge by weight. read more
