Amazing food - we got in right at the closing time and this is one of the best south indian food anywhere near orange county - hands down .

The place has the best Dosas around here! I got the paneer burji dosa and it was super yummy. The seasoning was just right (mild) and the chutneys were delish too! It was so delicious, I ordered a second one, the pure ghee dosa, to have for breakfast the next day with masala chai at home. You must try this place. The customer service is super friendly and quick. Do expect to wait about 10 minutes or so for your dosa since they are made to order which is the only way to have it! read more

Overpriced southIndian restaurant I ever tasted. Kids butter cone dosa for 8.99 which is a RIP-OFF it worth $2.99 . People should just go to Artesia and get nice south Indian food. Great South Indian restaurant in Corona. Good variety of menu. It's exciting to have them and not drive to Irvine or Cerritos to have Dosa. Malabar Masala dosa and Rava Masala Dosa are quite normal and common item but wait time is 30~45 mins so if you are on lunch hour time card you need to be careful. For weekend dinners it's really busy and food quality becomes average and orders can get mixed up and served on wrong table. Also, sambar was really hot and spicy and not sure if all kinds of customers would be able to take it. Inside of Mendu Vada seems to be raw. Hope to see improvement and expectations are much more than this. read more

We went there for dinner and had dahipuri, mutton keema dosa, appam and fish curry. Everything we had was yummy and tasted very authentic. Especially the taste of the malabar fish curry was exactly similar to the ones I had had in Kerala (the only difference being the fish was not as flavorful). I decided to try this place based on yelp recommendations and I'm glad I did! The owner is very nice and welcoming and service is very fast. We tried the paneer dosa and paper dosa and the portions are reasonable for the item prices. Everything tasted fresh but I asked for my paper dosa to be spicy and it wasn't spicy at all! Despite this, the food overall was well made and delicious. They also sell macaron ice cream sandwiches and we tried vanilla, mango, and strawberry. They were a great after lunch dessert but a little pricey; spent ~$11 for 3 of these. I'll definitely come back to try something else on their menu but I think I'll ask for extra spicy next time! read more

Finally went there today to try some stuff. I am very glad that finally a "South Indian" place is opened in Corona. I picked Idlis, vada, sambhar and lemon rice. Everything was very fresh. I wanted dosa but its best to eat Dosa fresh and hot. Will try it when I have time to dine in. Today, picked the stuff for dinner later. Also got 2 chutni's/paste, one coconut and other onion tomato. I wish the coconut was little better in taste. The onion tomato is also ok. Sambhar has little sweetness but its very good and good chunks of veggies. There's a kick to it also. I really liked it. Last but not least, lemon rice was very good. Everything was very fresh. I can't wait to go there soon and try the Dosa, which I am sure won't disappoint. I forgot to take the pics today but will definitely take it when I go there next time, which will be very soon. read more

After watching Taste the Nation with Padma Lakshmi and her nostalgic walk down memory lane while making dosa with her mom, we sought out a highly rated restaurant that served dosas and located this gem about 30 minutes away. What a drive well worth the effort! We tried the Mumbai Street style dosa and the Ghee Masala Dosa -both were delicious. Dosa were crispy, generously sized, and flavorful. We could have handled more heat-I think they recommended milder ones to ease us into the dishes but the accompanying soup (so good-even in the summer heat!) and the chutneys were a fantastic flavor bump! Highly recommend this spot. We'll be back to broaden the experience. The employee was very friendly and gave us solid recommendations. They adhered to recommended COVID guidelines with masks, sanitizer, register shields and had two tables outside to dine at. read more

My girlfriend and I decided to try something new for dinner and since neither of us have tried South Indian food before we figured this would be a great entry point. We ordered Mix Veg Pakoda to start, Paneer Burji Dosa and a Rava Masala Dosa. All the food is made to order so it's nice and hot when it arrives to your table. Our favorite was the paneer Burji Dosa! Such a great find! My husband and I tried this place out for the first time and we were so happy we did. The service was very sweet and helpful. The server that took our order was happy to give a recommendation since I'd never tried a dosa before. I went with her rec and got the butter masala dosa, my husband got the ghee masala dosa, and my kid got a kids cheese dosa. All of which were delicious! And the sauces/soups (sorry didn't catch what they're properly called) were all so so good too. We also got to try a mango lassi for the first time and it went perfectly with our meal. Ordered the paneer bhurji dosa to go. Sambhar and chutneys were well-sealed and did not spill on the long drive back. I received 6 large generously stuffed pieces, which I reheated on the skillet. That did the trick and got the dosa nice and crispy again, and it tasted great! Sambhar was also good, and the red chutney especially was excellent. To give credit where it's due, the name 'Dosalicious' is absolutely fitting since the dosa (a thin pancake originating from South India, made from a fermented batter predominantly consisting of lentils and rice. It is somewhat similar to a crepe in appearance, although savoury flavours are generally emphasized. -Wikipedia), here was PERFECT! The shell had that classic crisp, masala was a little on the greasy side but very well flavored and the sambar was a bit mild but nothing that the red chutney couldn't fix. IF I had only had the dosa, I would definitely have given it five stars... but me being me, I had to try other dishes here and that's where it went south. Second dish was the idli sambar (soft fluffy steamed rice cakes served with sambar, a vegetable lentil stew. Idli sambar is made with lentils, plenty of spices, mixed vegetables and herbs -Wikipedia). Don't get me wrong, I was impressed with the three idli's. However there was no where near enough sambar provided for the three idli's. Yes the idli's were fluffy but they were far too dense. They should have been more airy and their density showed there wasn't enough water added to the batter prior to them being steamed. Lastly, my FAVORITE Punjabi dish was butchered here. Butchered to the point want to leave a one star review but the fact that this place is called Dosalicious, dosa's are totally worth it! The awfully butchered dish was the Chole Bhature (Chickpea Curry with Fried Flatbreads made with Maida/all-purpose flour). First of all, they didn't make the bhatura with all purpose flour/maida, but with refined wheat flour which is reserved for Puri's. Second of all, the chole were sweet! Why?! This is a savory dish and should never be sweet! There was no raita (spiced/seasoned yogurt) or achaar (spiced/seasoned pickled veg) which is a staple side to complete this meal. This dish alone dropped the five star rating down to three stars. The other reason for the drop in stars was service. The staff were friendly but seemed as though they were in a rush when it wasn't busy. No one was ordering before us and no one was in line after us. Other guests were seated and already enjoying their meals so I don't understand why the 'service' in customer service was non-existent. If I'm expected to leave a tip, I expect a smile, refill my water, stop by and and say hi or ask how the meal is. Needless to say, I will not be returning here anytime soon or at all as there are countless other places at an equal distance with far superior food AND service. read more

Food was real good but it took almost an hour for a To go order consisting of a plain dosa and pani puri. The girl prefilled my pani puri herself, right when I placed the order, so when I got my dosa an hour later, they were soggy and inedible. I wanted to love this place so much, but it was bad customer service. I kept asking the lady for a refund since they were taking so long and she kept saying it would only be 5 more minutes. I must have asked her 4 times for a refund and she refused, totally ignoring me.
