Our absolute favorite taco place! The food is amazing, it's a little pricey but so so good and the service has almost always been great.

Absolutely the best breakfast burritos ever- anywhere! Walk up to the window and then hang out in the courtyard. Lovely!

This place has so much potential!!!! It's just not there yet. Service and ambiance were spectacular, but food lacks "sazon" aka spice. Started off with poke nachos, which were good! I got them without the fish. The poke sauce and jalapeños on there made for a good app! For drinks I ordered the Blood Orange Margarita, but didn't get that and since they were busy I just left it alone. Everything is made in house so the juice in the Marg was good EXCEPT no tequila flavor... :( as an avid tequila lover I was hoping you could taste some but it only tasted like the lime juice. Tacos- my boyfriend loved the shrimp taco. I tried the cochinita (pork) taco and it was so close to the tacos you can find in Valladolid, MX but just missing a little more flavor 6/10. The cremini mushroom taco was just a complete disappointment. The mushrooms had absolute no flavor and the salsa tasted like they forgot to add salt. The cauliflower taco was decent. overall, I do think this place could really bring traditional Mexican flavors with a little adding more seasoning. I plan their Denver location just because I hope it was just a bad kitchen day? read more

Fresh food interesting take on Mexican with Yucatan influence. I've lived in the Yucatan and can vouch that the al pastor, cerviche and omgf ate legit Yucatan influence. Margs awesome green chile my fav.. house marg good but a todos weak. Fun times get some! read more

Super cute restaurant with unique taco options. The food was okay. Out of the 3 tacos we tried my party and I all felt they lacked flavor and were not very hot. The poke nachos were phenomenal! The food and drinks are great actually...my review is based off the customer service as the manager had a fit when we asked to split our check when we visited with some friends. It shouldn't be difficult to split a check for a party of 4, but it was apparently an issue and created more drama than necessary for a simple meal and some drinks :/ read more

I love Dos Santos and come here all the time for lunch and dinner. Today we tried their breakfast burritos for the first time. We ordered the Cali burrito with bacon. When we opened them at home there was no avocado or pico in them. We came to the conclusion that the guy charged us $22 for two Classico burritos that were supposed to come with bacon already but charged us extra for that bacon plus orange juice that we didn't order. The burritos were still good, just not what we ordered and were completely overcharged. Lesson learned just double check your bill and that your order is correct! read more

Amazing find! Everything we have tried was delish - the seasonal salsa was this super unique blend with pumpkin that I didn't expect to like and loved - Queso is to die for! Gentrified Taco Bell. This place is decorated like every girls college dorm. $6 for a Tecate, $12 for melted Oaxaca cheese that's marketed as "Queso Fuego". Oh, and their bartenders. The most amazing shrimp tacos I've ever had the pleasure to experience. Literally Michelin star level tacos. Not even kidding. Then the Flan is next world good! CR really needs some more great places to eat, but we don't need downtown CR to grow so badly that we should accept average-at-best food. I will say that the drinks were solid, no doubt, but the food was a miss. The guacamole was simply awful - not fresh at all and just tasted like a cumin bomb (like maybe they were stretching old ingredients by a spice dump). We tried three different tacos (pork, shrimp and chicken) and would not recommend any - just not good. We each didn't take more than a sample bite of the trio. Would have expected at least one winner in our taco sampling but they just were not good. The chicken quesadilla was decent and definitely better than any of the tacos, but middle of the road vs other Mexican joints. We walked out saying "how can you claim to be a high end taqueria and have weak tacos? What a bummer." I will gladly pay for quality food - but the pricing here simply does not match the product. Normally love this place, but very disappointed in a $2.00 charge for soda water to put a "splash" in my ranch water drink. Really? We asked the server about the charge (she was great) and she said they always charge for soda - any amount. Please tell people ahead of time - because paying $14 for a regular drink is a little much. Will not split a check. Served all the tacos three of us ordered on a jumbled huge plate so it was up to us to figure out who got what. Server had an attitude. And the tacos were not worth $5+ very hipstery establishment. They charge for chips and salsa. Definitely not a Mexican restaurant. Won't be going back. read more

I was here not too long ago and man it was amazing, the food was so GOOOOD, the service was AMAZING, the management and staff make you feel at home by connecting with you as much as they can. I was asked several times if I needed anything else, or how the food/drink were and that's a big deal to me. The atmosphere was also really good too, its a nice place to grab some food/drinks relax and have a good time with friends and family. I will for sure be going back over and over. Wow! This was a pleasant surprise. We intended to go to Union Bistro. They were closed, so we decided to try Dos Santos. Not disappointed. Started with the Squash Bombs. Yummy. Then on to tacos. Tasty but very high priced for the portions... went there during happy hour. The Happy Hour menu had the house margarita for 9 bucks so that's 12 out the door after tax and tip. It was very small and didn't taste a hint of tequila. But I did taste a ton of lime and sour notes. I prefer a Marg from Rio Grande so these are def sour and very limey (Union Bistro was very limey too. Happy hour food choices are limited and smaller than the full size portions. Loved the Taco's but they are 8 bucks each for a 4" that Yolanda's or The Office charge 4 for so... . We left 90 lighter and still somewhat hungry. You will not need a box to go. The atmosphere is good but they had the garage door open and it was chilly for sure. They have radiant heaters on the patio but not inside so plan accordingly. The family style tables are nice and roomy but they finished them with some lacquer or varnish that gets sticky when they clean them so... it's not gross but feels gross and maybe no so healthy. So, I haven't posted in awhile, but I felt this place was a good place to start back up. Let's start with the food... if you want a burrito in Castle Rock, here is the place to get one. Downside, you and I are not the only ones who know that so there might be a wait if you're doing the walk up burritos. Inside, it got a nice ambience, chatter in the background but not too loud. The kitchen is open to the restaurant, so if you didn't come in hungry, you will be. Drinks are good and refreshing. If you're looking for a nice summer refresher, go with the basil limeade. Marg.... spicy passion fruit will not steer you wrong. Now, the service... the kitchen was backed with burrito orders and there was only one server on the floor. Taylor was amazing. She made sure we were aware of everything and that we were properly taken care of. She was always at our table, on queue, for drink refills or check ins. Her bright demeanor was a treat and she took the time regardless of how busy the room got. She handled everything perfectly.
