The tuna tostada makes me want to come back! Their trio of salsas are good. Drinks are great.

Some of the best tacos i between Denver and the Springs, you can also get every taco with lettuce wrap only. Highly recommend the OMFG Tuna sashimi taco and the spicy margaritas. We got there just before Happy hour ended so I was able to order the house margarita and it was really good. We ordered the salsa sampler. It was good but not great and I hate paying for chips and salsa. Probably wouldn't order again although I have to say the flavor of the chips was really good. I ordered the Porky and fish taco and they were so good!! I wish I ate less chips so I could order a third taco. My husband said the tacos Al Pastor was good but a little salty. Stopped in today for lunch and what a disappointment. Ordered the house lager beer and a few tacos. The beer was nothing special except for its price, $9. Did they not go scout the Great Divide right across the street. Great Divide beers are much better and half the price. Tacos were average at best, tapas sized and overpriced. Check out the menu before you go, food prices are unreasonably high given the portions and so are the drinks, $21 top shelf margaritas, no thanks. The dining room is super small so the lines are long and service is slow. The décor is nice but much of the seating is 8-place picnic tables so if you are a small group good luck. The patio looks nice, closed today due to weather, but its the same issue with picnic tables for 8. We are thrilled that Castle Rock is giving us more options but it seems like the owners didn't do their homework. If you want upscale Mexican La Loma is the spot with extraordinary front range views, better food and beverages at lower prices. If you want fast casual than Fuzzy's is hard to beat. Our hope is Dos Santos will consider making some adjustments. read more

Such a fun addition to castle rock! So exciting to have dos Santos here in town. The food was very flavorful and used fresh ingredients. The drinks were very good! Not your typical syrup heavy margaritas. Great balance with the flavors and liquor used. We ordered the chicken tinga chips which were a great appetizer. The shrimp ceviche was very flavorful and delicious! The tacos are very small for the price but the flavor profiles make up for it! The restaurant itself is pretty small but there is bar seating as well! The service was good as well! We had maple who was very friendly and happy to help! The servers changed three times during our meal and they forgot several items and served the wrong items.... They were bringing apps to our table as we were getting ready to leave that we clearly didn't order. I know for a fact they didn't hear half of what we asked for. We suggested turning the music down a little for both parties' benefit and we we're laughed at. Restaurant is pretty tiny and we were seated right as you walked in. Those in single chairs were bumped every time a server walked by. I may go again when the weather is nice and check out the patio. If the music is blaring.... Consistent and delicious! I can always count on this place to satisfy a taco craving. Tons of choices, happy hour is great, staff is friendly and on top of things. Only negative is the wait is always long and the seating isn't comfortable. I've had to sit in their family style tables every time but once and I've been over 5 times. The stools are not comfortable and it's not very kid friendly. But the food makes up for that. Go in the AM for their breakfast burritos at their pickup window, they're putting Santiago's to shame. Super cool vibe that we usually go to Denver to experience. The food is very tasty and well portioned. The service was nice, but a little discombobulated as they decided who would take our party of three. It's a bit dark and noisy in there hard to see your food in the evening. We are looking forward to the outdoor patio this summer. The liquor is way overpriced and mainly ice. My tuna tostada was too salty to finish. I like salt, I like salt on my marg, but the homemade tostada was over the top with salt which interferes with the rest of the yummies on top. Everyone else loved their tacos and got full quickly. I love this new addition to downtown Castle Rock. Have visited twice, and the food both times did not disappoint. The tacos are creative but not weird and well-executed. I overheard a waitress describe the crunchy taco as an upscale Taco Bell taco, and I think that is accurate. There is something comforting and familiar, yet elevated about that taco, I absolutely recommend you get that if you visit. The drinks are as tasty as they are beautiful. The stools leave much to be desired as far as comfort dining, but don't let that deter you from coming. Definitely worth a try and among my favorite restaurants in booming Castle Rock. read more

Though the food is quite good and the drinks are OK but way overpriced I'd still dine there again. The real issue is the fact that they're ripping off their customers by charging a 3% credit-card surcharge when you pay with a credit card. It is legal in Colorado to charge a surcharge to use a credit card as a form of payment but the max allowed by law is 2% and that's been in effect since July 2022. Also, they're not allowed to charge a cc surcharge if you pay with cash, check, gift card or debit card and I paid with a debit card on my last visit and still got hit with the 3% surcharge. They may be doing this on accident but either way they should be treating their customers fairly and following the law. Lastly, by law you have to post signage that is clear and visible at all your entrances stating you charge customers a credit-card surcharge fee. They have no signage at any entrance and you only see the fee after you get your bill. Do better Dos Santo. Learn the law and stop overcharging your customers. Shame on you. read more

We tried the chips & salsa, beer battered shrimp taco, o.m.f.g taco, crunchy taco supreme, and steak quesadilla. The salsa's were not spicy, and everything was very different & tasty but my favorite was the beer battered shrimp taco! The vibe was very chill & the service was great! Weve been here several times before and as always the food was good, but tonite the service was very poor. Emily, our waitress, was 15 minutes late even coming over to welcome us and get our drink order, then our meals arrived 10 minutes apart, I was done before my wife even got hers, and that was after we called Emily over and told her we still didn't have my wifes food. Coming from someone who has worked in the restaurant industry for years now, I am honestly disgusted...DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY for this "family owned business". My friends and I ordered a couple rounds of expensive poor quality drinks (dive bars give me more hope) and received straight tequila with a splash of "hibiscus" rather than actual margaritas. The employees made it feel like I was sitting in a high school cafeteria, they clearly go to work to socialize with coworkers and talk loud trash about costumers. Ordered a taco to-go, opened the box only to find 2 EMPTY tortillas, which was actually a blessing because we all got food poisoning after dining in. After the most unprofessional encounter with the "manager", It's clear this restaurant is an actual joke. The employees are too busy finger popping each other's a**holes to give mediocre service.
