Carne asada enchiladas with Christmas sauce.

What a great spot! Small and comfy, this is wonderful place for a low key delicious meal. Bien Y Tú starts you off with a proper drink menu of crafted cocktails, authentic margaritas, and a deep choice of Mexican lagers. Well-crafted and vibrant, their house margarita is an absolute show-stealer. For a small restaurant, the service can be slow to arrive, but once it did, it was attentive and wonderful. Their star appetizer is the salsa flight. Every single salsa is delicious! The main menu is perfectly locked in with some staples and some surprised. Tacos, burritos, carne asada, but they keep the menu small enough to keep the quality high! However, the portions are smaller so you may want to consider a big appetizer or a side. Overall a fantastic experience. Great ambiance, great food. If they added one more taco or one more enchilada to the plates as served, it would be perfect. For the win: House Margarita to start, then chips and a salsa flight, carne asada enchiladas with chili verde sauce, and flan for dessert. ¿Cómo estás? Bien y tú!

We were eager to try this new restaurant, but overall, the experience was disappointing. The decor was cool! We visited for lunch after a hike--4 adults and 3 kids. The chips were good, and the guacamole salsa was excellent, but their famous smoky salsa was interesting yet didn't wow me. The atmosphere was decent--featuring unique macramé and alebrije-style decorations. My friends ordered the bowl dish, which they said lacked flavor and was just so-so. They didn't like it. I had the Pozole; and did like it. It tasted good, with a nice red color, but I had to send it back because it was cold. It seemed the plate was microwaved (hot bowl, but cold soup), showing a lack of attention to detail. You shouldn't serve a hot plate if it's not steaming. Additionally, the prices seemed hard to justify. Many dishes don't include basic sides; for instance, enchiladas cost $17 without beans or rice, and tortillas for the pozole were extra. Chips and salsa aren't free either. The margarita was served in a small 4 oz glass for $8. For happy hour, it's better to stick with beer. Service also needs significant improvement--there was little attention to guests, even failing to respond or acknowledge when they forgot to add something to a dish. The waiter simply said, "you guys were all talking load and the same time," which was unprofessional. Instead of apologizing it felt dismissive. It would be better actually SMART to double-check orders with each guest. It's very disappointing because the concept and name are promising, and the place has potential. However, high prices and inconsistent service make it hard to justify returning--especially when other local spots offer better value. Note: a 20% gratuity is already added to the bill, so even with poor service, you're still paying for it.

Bien Y Tu has a really great ambience -- we came around 2 PM on a Sunday and loved the overall vibe. It felt relaxed but still lively, and it would definitely be a fun spot for a date night. That said, the teamwork could've been a little better. Our server was really nice. We had several servers walk by our table multiple times while our empty glasses just sat at the end of the table. It wasn't terrible service, but it definitely felt a little disconnected. Food-wise, my husband got the chicken quesadilla and it was really good! We tried the salsa trio -- it was okay. Honestly, the housemade salsa was the best of the three, so I'm not sure it's worth the extra money to try the other two options. The pork green chili was good and had lots of small chunks of pork, which was definitely a pro. Overall, we'd definitely try it again -- maybe for a late-night date night next time.

First time here. Party of 2, Friday at 3pm. No wait, seated immediately on the patio. Such a cute spot! The inside is a whole vibe! The patio reminds me of one of my fave spots in New Mexico. Our server was super friendly and attentive. We ordered the red salsa and guacamole. Oh my gosh, so good! Highly recommend! I ordered the skinny margarita , very refreshing and The Lawsuit, oh my goodness, so good! Cannot wait to come again and try more of the menu!!

The two stars are strictly for the ambiance and service. Without those, this would probably be a one-star review. The inside is very cute, with great lighting, clean and welcoming atmosphere. There isn't much seating, but we had no trouble finding a table on a Tuesday night. The staff were friendly and extremely attentive. First disappointment: they charge for chips and salsa. Don't get the flour chips, they were an additional charge and you don't get very many chips (larger portion if you get the corn chips). We decided to try the salsa flight (traditional red, sweet & spicy, and the "spicy" avocado crème), hoping to find one we liked for next time, but there will not be a next time. Second disappointment: the drinks. We ordered the casa margarita and the "caliente" margarita. Both were very tiny for the price, and the caliente was missing the "caliente" completely, adding a jalapeño does not make it spicy. Third disappointment: entrées don't come with sides, so we paid extra for rice and beans we shared. We tried the carnitas tacos and asked for the toppings (micro greens and avocado sauce) on the side and the rellenos. The carnitas meat had decent flavor, but the greens were very micro and not the cilantro/onion mix you would expect. The rellenos were large portion and were crispy but almost completely lacked flavor. The rice tasted like it was made in a rice cooker with red sauce added, and the beans tasted like canned beans with some kind of mystery meat in the sauce. Final disappointment: the price. With tip, our meal was over $90. They say they aren't your typical "upscale" Mexican restaurant, all true... the only things upscale here are the decor/ambiance and the prices. We likely won't be returning.

This unique, new little gem is unlike any other Latin restaurant in Castle Rock. The decor, ambience, food and service were all equally impressive, and the menu offers very interesting options.

I really wanted to love this place based on the decor and ambiance alone but there were a few underwhelming things about the experience. *Waitlist was a bit misleading. Said we were first in line for over 30min but apparently the host thought I said a party of 6 not 5. The no reservations make it a bit inconvenient especially when you have a toddler. *Service was not the most expedient and our waiter was not very attentive. Getting drinks and the check took much longer than necessary especially since by the time we checked out the restaurant was more empty than full. *The food however was excellent! My husband and I had tacos were both enjoyed as well as chips and the trio of salsas. I had a coin margarita and it was deeelish! Super tart and no added sugar. Highly recommend it! I'll probably come back and just hope I get a different waiter.

I will 100 be coming back here. The food was so yummy and unique. Service was spot on and a good happy hour. And the atmosphere is the best part!

This little gem is discreet, quaint and yet so ever welcoming. My favorite spot to pop in when I am southbound for meetings or get together with my happy circle. From lunch to happy hour and dinner, this place does not disappoint. Staff is always so friendly and cheerful. I never wait for a table and plenty of great spots to sit and linger. The ambience is just so cozy from the macabre chandeliers to the beautiful plants decorating the walls and booths to the gorgeous stain glass back wall. Parking is on the local streets and not a far walk if you are in the neighboring streets. Who can resist a salsa flight???? I love the smoky and spicy flavor of the tigre as well as the Clemente's cilantro lime avocado. I also stuff my face with their elote. I am a huge fan of the carne asada and carnita tacos. I haven't tried the quesa birria tacos. The Lawsuit is a very generous crunch wrap of carne asada, queso and ooey goodness. Now let's get to the cocktails. Happy hour starts at 2:30pm and perfect excuse to sip on their house margarita. Highly recommend the tequila flights. Just sit and indulge for a while because they are strong! Be responsible and don't dance on the tables. Is it expensive here? Are you having a GREAT time? Exactly it is all relative to your enjoyment meter. I am an avid learner because the right information can be life changing. So my advice, listen to Bien Y Tu's motto: come unwind, indulge and repeat.

    Margarita with egg whites

My husband and I came here with my mom while she was visiting for the weekend. As soon as we walked in, we really enjoyed the decor and the atmosphere. Our server Dylan was attentive from the get-go! He was funny and kind too, even taking a picture of my family for us! My mom and I got the regular margarita (casa marg), but I got it with the egg whites. We both thought the margaritas were delicious! My husband got a drink as well (it had Bulleit Rye) and he was also thoroughly impressed! The guacamole and house red salsa were so good. The guacamole is different than your usual guac, as it has chilli crisp on top, it's so good though! I ordered the quesabirria tacos, my mom ordered the lawsuit, and my husband ordered a quesadilla. We all thoroughly enjoyed our meals! My husband and I decided that this would be our go-to restaurant for taking our friends and family to. I said that this honestly was the best restaurant experience we have had in a long time!! We will definitely be back!!!!

Great food. Try the smoky salsa. Service was great also. Atmosphere was excellent, restrooms a little dark.

Blackened chicken burrito smothered in green chili
    Carrie R.

Went for a date night. #1 Fav is the blackened chicken burrito smothered in green chili sauce. Wow! Husband & I agreed it's the best burrito in town. So much flavor happening. Cocktails were great- loved my skinny marg and husband had something with whiskey. Salsa flight- nothing was too spicy. So if you want serious heat - this ain't it. But the Smokey salsa was dreamy if you like smoke . Ambience is great overall- cute aesthetic dark inside with plants. And the outdoor patio is really pretty. However, if you get seated in the very back near the bathrooms/kitchen it can loose some charm- wish they would have somehow made that section nice too. Service was great- seemed a little pushy at the end to get us out but I get it & they weren't rude just checked in a lot in the last 10 minutes. Overall great addition to castle rock and I could go for that burrito right now....

Decided to try out this newcomer to the Castle Rock area this afternoon. We left pretty unimpressed. Whether it was the drinks, salsas, appetizers or entrees, mostly everything was lacking flavor-wise. What's possibly even more concerning is the fact that they seriously lack non-alcoholic drink options. Water and coke products are your only options. Their alcoholic drink options are pretty solid, but the drinks are average. The margarita with the egg white was something I was intrigued about coming in, but it was absolutely nothing special. The chips and salsa (a) you have to pay for which is a cardinal sin for a Mexican place and (b) wasn't a tiny bit spicy and had texture resembling tomato paste. The tuna poke was decent but served with very thick, greasy, unappetizing flour tortilla chips that don't work at all with the texture of the poke. Thankfully we had the regular tortilla chips from the chips and salsa and ate the poke with those, otherwise it would have been challenging to finish it. The burrito was massive but incredibly strange. I got it with birria and the first half of the burrito had the birria on the outside of it, but the second half had the birria on the inside. Throughout the burrito there was this unmelted cheese, rice, black beans, avocado for some reason, and another tomato-paste like substance. The burrito was served on top of refried beans, which I didn't care for since it forced beans into each and every bite. It was definitely a "kitchen sink" style of burrito, but despite everything in there I was left still searching for flavor. We did finally find some flavor in the carne asada tacos, which actually were pretty decent. The carne asada was really tender and the chimichurri on it was really, really tasty. The tortillas were also great with the tacos. That dish seems to be the thing to get here. However the one issue I have with that dish is the $6 upgrade to get a side of bone marrow was almost a scam. The bone marrow side was this tiny little piece of bone with hardly any bone marrow. Absolutely not a worthwhile upgrade. The interior of the place you hear a lot of good things about, which is accurate because it is nice in there, although a bit small. The service is great, it's a really busy place with only 1-2 servers it seems and they do a good job staying on top of all the tables. But all-in-all, this place is seriously underwhelming and the opportunity cost just isn't worth it to me.

It was behind glass and visible from where we were seated. Always neat to see how a brewery is set up, no two are the same. Dulce took care of us. We started with chips and salsa. The chips were warm and the salsa was fresh with a nice kick. He got a taco plate with ground beef tacos, rice and beans. He paired that with the LDP IPA. He enjoyed his meal. I love Chile Rellenos, so that is what I chose for my lunch. It came smothered with their green chili and with some of those wonderful warm tortillas on the side. I paired mine with their Aqua Fresca, a slightly altered base of their Mexican Lager with the addition of Prickly Pear purée and Key Lime. It was refreshing and tasted like summer. I had half of my lunch to bring home with me. The view from where we sat was beautiful. I would come back.
