This was an amazing meal with delicious food. Family owned. Everyone was jamming and having a great time in the kitchen which produced huge portions of delicious food for very affordable price. We got chips and salsa and then our food came out quickly. They brought all our food to the table and the nice gentleman even put napkins and silverware down for each of us as he placed our food. I stopped in here with one of my police officer friends. This place is a favorite of the local LE community and that is usually a good sign. The restaurant is well maintained and very clean. The staff was super friendly and treated my law enforcement friend and I like gold. Service was great and were even received free chips and Sasha. My bread and cheese burrito was exactly as I ordered it and huge. I took half of it home add it was simply too much for me to eat in one sitting. They have a very efficient drive thru as well. I hear their breakfast burritos are to die for and I look forward to trying one. I understand why this is a "locals" favorite eatery. read more

Pollo Eats is everything that you would want in a little taqueria. Great service (and friendly staff). Great atmosphere. But most importantly, great burritos. We tried both the Al pastor and the carnitas, and recommend both. Definitely get them smothered....the green chile is outstanding. The negatives that I have are small. 1. The chair (metal stools actually) suck 2. This might be a personal pet peeve, and just bad luck with how my burrito was rolled...but it was rolled up with all the meat in one side. We will certainly be back to Pollo eats. The chips and salsa were great ! Warm chips is always a great touch. We got the guacamole too. It was good, but too expensive to recommend. read more

Paid a visit to this restaurant on Day One. Customer service was outstanding. While they were still trying to get the grand opening up and running, they made sure we were taken care of. The menu was a little difficult to read unfortunately, purple letters on a black background. They brought out a great salsa. Sergio said they would hopefully have two different salsas. I can't wait to try the tomato based one. The food was great. The carne asada taco was flavorful and the meat tender. The pollo verde enchilada, while a little dry, was still delicious. The chili relleno was one of the better ones that we have had. The chicken burrito was full of delicious chicken, with more heat than most places. The restaurant was bright making for a friendly ambience. We look forward to coming back again to try a few other menu options. They were still trying to get their bearings - it is difficult opening up a restaurant but hopefully they work through everything. Parking is a bit limited but do not let that stop you from eating here. read more

So, when Old West BBQ (the previous restaurant in this location) closed, I was pretty sad. I've been enjoying their BBQ breakfast burritos for years. Well, I am sad no more! Boy howdy ho, Pollo Eats makes a delicious breakfast burrito. I tried them for the first time after a brutal workout, so I let the business owner reccomended which kind of breakfast burrito since I was too tired to make up my mind. She gave me a delicious concoction of shredded smoked chicken and cheese with a green salsa on the side. Side note: love that, good green salsa is so hard to come by! The chicken was Smoky, the cheese was melty, and it all mixed together well. She said they were out of chorizo today but that chorizo was their most popular breakfast burrito. Definitely trying that next time. I have a soft spot for Santiagos because of their convenience, but this knocks any Santiagos breakfast burrito out of the water BY A LOT. One is enough to make you feel full. More protien, more cheese, and better spices. Plus, these guys are open at 6AM and serve their breakfast all day so they can definitely cater to the "weird work schedule" crowd. Give this place a try! The chicken was OK, I was very disappointed with the sides, potato salad was not eaten, rice had no flavor, green salsa was flavorless. Breakfast reviews seem to be better. May need to try breakfast. Been here twice now- have had a great experience both times! We've gotten breakfast burritos (10/10 would recommend) and now the half pollo and the flautas de pollo. Everything was delicious and flavorful. The frijoles were perfect and the chips and salsa were amazing. Every employee we have interacted with has been friendly and helpful. Restaurant is clean, comfortable and well maintained. Food came out quickly and we were given an extra treat to sample as well, thoroughly enjoyed! Tried this establishment twice, both times I can say the food was ok. It's very clean and the women at the counter are personable enough. First time we went I ordered flautas and they were ok. Chicken was dry, and no flavor. Second time I got the chicken enchilada plate. Spicy, spicy, spicy! The chicken was very dry and hard. Hubby and I came to the conclusion that left over chicken is probably being used. Which would be fine if the chicken had some kind of flavor and wasn't dried out like jerky. Maybe get another cook? So food isn't rushed and more attention is given to flavor and texture? Spicy isn't a flavor. Would I still recommend? Yes... they have potential. read more

When you walk in you instantly feel happy. The atmosphere is palpable. We were greeted with such warmth and genuine kindness. We didn't even have to really look far on the menu because the gentleman was there to assist with any questions we might have. Great little Mexican food restaurant! The green chile is an old family recipe and it was some of the best that I have had! I had the chicken chimi and the chilie rellenos. Both were cooked perfectly, tasted great. And were large enough that I leafed completely stuffed. We will be back. read more

Wonderful customer service. Greeted with a smile and helpful spirit. Then the food came out. The chicken (got half a chicken) is amazing. The surprise was the rice! Not just your average Spanish Rice. It is usually an afterthought. Not here! It had...fresh corn and peppers and spices. So good. I sat inside and they have inviting, fun Latino music. Came in for breakfast this morning. The ordering system was down so things were running quite rough today. Numbers given out on tents were not matching printed receipts. It was confusing for staff and waiting customers. Pains of the business. But the staff had a really good attitude the whole time. Everything was fresh and tasty when it came out. Where should I start. 1. Okay. I'll start with the good. The staff and customer service is great. Very friendly and the place was clean. I had a chicken tinga taco, fish taco, and a 2pcs dark special. The tinga taco was very flavorful. I think it's their rotisserie chicken in tinga sauce. The fish taco is made with tilapia with cabbage and a creamy sauce. The 2pc rotisserie deal also had great flavor. The bad. $6.22 for a taco! That's insane. The fish taco was 3.50 because it was a special happening. The rotisserie chicken was pretty dry, so that was a little unpleasant. The restaurant is still new, so don't get scared of how empty it is. The salsa verde sauce was a little salty, and so was the Mexican rice I had as a side. I really can't get over the $6.22 for a taco. I really believe Castle Rock has enough Mexican eats, but this place stands out because of the rotisserie chicken they offer. That I can say is different for the local Mexican eats. I mean, there is Mr. Pollo Asada at the outlets, but the chicken here was more flavor. I'm sorry. I can't help but be shocked at the taco price. Go and give it a try. Man, let me tell you about this epic chorizo, bacon, egg, and cheese breakfast burrito I had at Pollo Eats! The flavors were out of this world; the chorizo was perfectly seasoned, the bacon was crispy, the eggs were fluffy, and the cheese just tied it all together. It was like a party in my mouth! And don't even get me started on the customer service. There was this amazing lady at the front counter who was just the sweetest. She greeted everyone with a smile, took the time to chat with customers, and made sure everyone felt welcome. Her positive attitude really added to the whole dining experience. The only reason this is not five stars is because the chicken was a little dry, however, I feel the chicken was a little dry because I got it towards the end of their night.
