I stopped in here with one of my police officer friends. This place is a favorite of the local LE community and that is usually a good sign. The restaurant is well maintained and very clean. The staff was super friendly and treated my law enforcement friend and I like gold. Service was great and were even received free chips and Sasha. My bread and cheese burrito was exactly as I ordered it and huge. I took half of it home add it was simply too much for me to eat in one sitting. They have a very efficient drive thru as well. I hear their breakfast burritos are to die for and I look forward to trying one. I understand why this is a "locals" favorite eatery.

New place in Castle Rock to try in downtown! I ordered a breakfast burrito with added bacon and it was only $6.18! We love that! It was loaded! I would say it's perhaps lacking a little flavor, but I'm not sure why? The staff was nice and they wrapped my burrito in a minute or less! I would love to come back and try some lunch/dinner foods!

Paid a visit to this restaurant on Day One. Customer service was outstanding. While they were still trying to get the grand opening up and running, they made sure we were taken care of. The menu was a little difficult to read unfortunately, purple letters on a black background. They brought out a great salsa. Sergio said they would hopefully have two different salsas. I can't wait to try the tomato based one. The food was great. The carne asada taco was flavorful and the meat tender. The pollo verde enchilada, while a little dry, was still delicious. The chili relleno was one of the better ones that we have had. The chicken burrito was full of delicious chicken, with more heat than most places. The restaurant was bright making for a friendly ambience. We look forward to coming back again to try a few other menu options. They were still trying to get their bearings - it is difficult opening up a restaurant but hopefully they work through everything. Parking is a bit limited but do not let that stop you from eating here.

So, when Old West BBQ (the previous restaurant in this location) closed, I was pretty sad. I've been enjoying their BBQ breakfast burritos for years. Well, I am sad no more! Boy howdy ho, Pollo Eats makes a delicious breakfast burrito. I tried them for the first time after a brutal workout, so I let the business owner reccomended which kind of breakfast burrito since I was too tired to make up my mind. She gave me a delicious concoction of shredded smoked chicken and cheese with a green salsa on the side. Side note: love that, good green salsa is so hard to come by! The chicken was Smoky, the cheese was melty, and it all mixed together well. She said they were out of chorizo today but that chorizo was their most popular breakfast burrito. Definitely trying that next time. I have a soft spot for Santiagos because of their convenience, but this knocks any Santiagos breakfast burrito out of the water BY A LOT. One is enough to make you feel full. More protien, more cheese, and better spices. Plus, these guys are open at 6AM and serve their breakfast all day so they can definitely cater to the "weird work schedule" crowd. Give this place a try! Note: the plate and silverware are mine, I got my burrito to go.

Come here! We came for breakfast and it was delicious. We sat in and had chips and salsa on the table. Salsas were mild until we asked for something hotter the 3rd salsa was smokey and had heat. We added to the green and red salsa we had already and it made them sing. We got breakfast burritos and they were large and tasty. I asked for sour cream/crema on the side for mine and it made everything come together. Juan helped us at the counter and he was so friendly and attentive. Explained what is popular. Clean inside and I liked the table set up. The huge windows are fun for watching the goings on outside. We will be back read more

Stopped in here on my way to Fort Collins and I was so excited to try Pollo Eats after reading the reviews. Unfortunately, I could not even eat it because my first bite was cold! I ordered the crispy chile relleno and it came with rice and beans so I took a bite of the rice and it was barely lukewarm. Such a disappointing experience! read more

Popped in today after seeing them around a month or so. The manager, Candy, was incredibly pleasant as was her mom (owner - Charito). The menu had been fixed from grand opening reviews and was easy to read and follow. Candy gave great recommendations for our first order (chorizo burrito [not the usual small burrito either!] and a breakfast taco). Both salsas were fantastic too! Candy told me about it being their first family restaurant with lots of family recipes (homemade chorizo, tortillas, etc) and the struggles they've had with figuring out their first restaurant business and having to close for two weeks to correct some issues with the grease trap and business docs after the grand opening. They are committed to making great food at a great price, with great customer service in their hometown. Seems like they are willing to take feedback and are committed to make it great. Can't ask much more of a first time family restaurant taking a big chance in the area. read more

Went here for the first time yesterday and I have to say I was thoroughly impressed. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. We got two burritos and chips and guac and it was delicious. We visited for the first time tonight and boy was it delicious! We ordered the whole chicken with 2 sides (we chose beans and rice) which comes with corn tortillas and salsa. California transplants will recognize the delicious marinated/seasoned chicken that is similar to the beloved El Pollo Loco. Everything tasted homemade, clean and fresh. Plus, the lively staff will keep you smiling. Prices were very reasonable and they just opened the drive-thru which was convenient. I have a feeling we will be ordering from Pollo Eats often! Have now eaten there 3 times and love it! Family owned. Any authentic Mexican dish you want they can make. Just ask. Menu still a work in progress. I've had fish tacos, rellenos, rotisserie chicken, carne asada burrito, and the guacamole is great. Everything is made from scratch and won't disappoint. Its now a weekly staple. read more

I Never Wright reviews. But this place is not worth the price. Paid over $7 dollars for a breakfast buritto that wasn't much bigger then a Santiago's buritto also the chile tasted bitter. Got charged a extra fee to use my Debit card. Definitely wouldn't go back a second time. read more

While the service was very good, the space is really compact so it made it feel like I was seated with the table next to mine. It also made it difficult to physically eat our food as the dishes barely fit on the small tables. The menu seems over-engineered lacking some basic options without one ingredient that tries to justify the outrageous price tag of their tacos. Overall if you like taking a second mortgage on your house to leave hungry and unsatisfied, while learning about the next tables life because they are nearly sitting on your lap, you may like Dos Santos.

While the boys were in the arcade room laughing and playing, I was already reminding them to keep it down because I understand young kids can be a lot. During that, another server who's section was next to the arcade room looked at me, made a "cut it off" gesture across her neck, and said they "needed to be done because they were ruining everything" in a very rude tone. If the noise level was becoming an issue, I completely understand addressing it but the way it was handled felt incredibly rude and unnecessary. I waited tables for 6 years when I was younger, and I would never have spoken to guests that way. Especially when families are using an arcade area designed for kids. I will say that both the hostess and our server, were very apologetic afterward, and I could tell they felt bad about the way the situation was handled and specifically the way I was spoken to. I appreciated their kindness and professionalism. That said, we genuinely love this place and think the food is great, which is why this experience was so disappointing. Hopefully we won't have to deal with that server when we come back, especially if we have our kids with us.

Mashawi was okay, but not what we would expect from our experience with Mediterranean restaurants. Of the dozens of Mediterranean restaurants we have eaten, the food at Mashawi had the least flavor. I ordered the gyro, which was small and bland though the meat was lamb. Lamb usually tends to have more flavor than other meats. The lavash overpowered the gyro due to the lack of other ingredients. My wife ordered the house salad and a side of falafel. The salad by itself was a disappointment. She had to dress up the salad to make it flavorful. The tahini sauce which was the sauce for the falafel was watery. I even poured some on my gyro and it added nothing. I did add a star for the service which was excellent. I sat on the couch, even though it was very comfortable it was too low to the table. The restaurant decor was simple with couches & beautiful jeweled chandeliers plus traditional music played in the background. Note, plenty of free parking was available as this place is located in a strip mall. I ordered the Beef Kabob Plate that came on a delicious bed of yellow rice. The beef had been marinated in a yummy marinade then perfectly grilled with two dipping sauces. Wow, this was super flavorful. In addition, there was a small salad with a wonderful spice dressing. On the side was warm Pita Bread & some of the best Hummus I've had in a long time. What a memorable meal...I'm looking forward to trying some of their other dishes.

5 Stars - Best Breakfast Burrito in Castle Rock! Pollo Eats is a hidden gem in Castle Rock, and their breakfast burritos are absolutely unbeatable. I've had a lot of burritos over the years, and these are easily some of the best I've ever had--flavorful, filling, and made with fresh, quality ingredients. The eggs are fluffy, and the meats (especially the bacon and chorizo) are cooked just right. They don't skimp on the portions either--one burrito will fuel your whole morning. And don't even get me started on their green chile--it's incredible. The staff is friendly, the service is quick, and the whole place has a great local vibe. Reviewing after multiple visits. The service is always friendly and welcoming. Just had the Smothered Carne Asada Burrito, as you can see it was huge and that was without the rice. The green chile was very tasty, homemade. We have previously had the signature rotisserie chicken, and several kinds of tacos, including the fish taco served San Felipe style. Also the Rellenos and of course killer guacamole. It was all great. Like made in mamas cocina. Going back for the breakfast burritos next. read more

Went on the recommendation. Glad I did. Great service and food. Had the Asada Burrito right off of the menu, as is. It was lot for me. Not cheap but quality too, very worth it. Have to had sopapillas also ;) soooo good read more
