I was initially excited to try this restaurant due to its strong reviews, though I unfortunately did not take any photos. In hindsight, the one-star reviews appear to have been more accurate regarding the overall experience. If you are looking for more authentic cuisine, this may not be the right fit, as the flavor seems to be more Americanized in its approach. The soup lacked depth of flavor, and the dumplings had a texture more consistent with frozen rather than freshly prepared items. On a positive note, the service was excellent, and the restaurant itself was clean, well-maintained, and inviting. read more

Not bad! A little expensive and the space is small but good service and very authentic feeling. I got the dry spicy garlic noodles (no meat btw how sad) and some dumplings and chasu baos. Everything was very average but it really hit the spot for me. The dumplings were nice and juicy and the noodles had great spice. My only complaint for the noodles is adding some meat like chasu would be great, less oil, and more evenly cut garlic. read more

Arriving shortly after opening on Sunday, the restaurant was bright, clean, and quiet. The restaurant is small with a small menu - but don't let that fool you, the food was full of flavors. We headed to the cash register to order - Wontons in Chili Oil, Pork Bao, Pork Dumplings, and Chicken Dumplings. About 7 minutes later, our food was brought to the table with a smile. With no one else in the restaurant, we were able to enjoy a flavorsome lunch in a quiet atmosphere. read more

Dumpling Kitchen - Adorable - Kids Meal Combo A - Noodles Near Me - Castle Rock, Colorado

my party of 2 went in around 7pm on a sunday, only two other parties, we ordered at the counter and then sat down and food came out maybe 15-20 minutes later. they also gave us some cucumber salad on the house which tasted really good. beef noodle soup bowl: good noodle texture and beef was very soft. it also came with two halves of an egg which was delicious. pork dumplings: good but a little small. xiao long bao (8pc): tasted like it was frozen and steamed, the soup was not very good and tasted a bit funky. overall, pretty solid and they came to fill our waters when we were eating so it was great service. read more

SO GOOD! We loved everything, but our faves were the won tons in chili oil, and the custard bao buns. But everything was delicious. And the kids cartoon bao buns are SO cute. Very fun! read more

I've always seen this place whenever I drive to castle rock and have been meaning to try for a long time. Decided to stop by for dinner and pleasantly surprised at how amazing our dinner turned out to be. Got the pork dumplings, xiao long baos, pork bao and Youpo noodle bowl - I can't pick a favorite but being a dumpling person definitely felt like this was one of the most comforting dumpling meals I've had in a really long time. The custard bao buns were really good too.. not too sweet. Service was quick but everything is made to order. Definitely a must try for all dumpling lovers read more

First time here after a lot of anticipation for us, and honestly, I was a bit disappointed. I'll give it a 4, since my daughter seemed to really like it, but I wasn't blown away. First, this place is small. Maybe six tables total. All were full when we ordered, so we ended up by the front windows waiting for something to open up. A table did, so we got to sit before our food came. Having looked at the menu before getting these, we wanted to try a few different things. The Xiao Long Bao soup dumplings were probably the highlight of the meal. The pork dumplings were fine, but I'm not sure if any flavors particularly stood out to me. My daughter really liked her beef rice bowl. I thought it was fine and would probably get that if I go back. It was better than my Rouzao Noodle Bowl. The ground pork wasn't my favorite, it didn't have much flavor, and the noodles were hard to eat. I added a bit too much chili garlic, but at least it had flavor at that point. We split an order of egg custard buns for dessert, and they were pretty tasty. It was fine. Not overly wowed by it, but I might go again. Granted, with good Chinese and sushi options to frequent, maybe I won't run back. read more

This was our first visit. When you walk in the door you go to the counter and place your order. Then you are given a number for your table and it is delivered hot to your table. We ordered pork dumplings, chicken dumplings, Xiao Bao, andDim Sum sampler. All were really good except the sampler was bland in taste. The restaurant was clean. Stop in and enjoy read more

100% the best (and only) dumpling spot in Castle Rock! So beyond happy for some diversity!! We went twice in the same weekend; dined in on Saturday, and ordered takeout Sunday. We ordered Xiao Long Bao ($11.99), Pork Dumplings ($10.99), Chasu Bao ($6.99), Rouzao Rice Bowl ($11.99), and Animal Custard Buns ($5.99). Prices are seemingly costly; $10.99/10 dumplings= $1/each, $11.99/8 XLB= $1.50/each. Flavors were authentic. Everything was good but I wasn't a fan of the Rouzao Rice; definitely needed the spicy chili oil. Would have loved an option for fried dumplings vs. traditional steamed. read more

First off, I can't comment on the restaurant itself because I sent my hubby there to pick up but I'm writing my review based on the food. It all kind of tastes the same. It's dumplings so you can't mess those up but it's was just kind of blah. Nothing bad but nothing great either. We ordered a ton of different kinds and some apps but honestly, it was just middle of the road. Everything was cooked nicely but nothing remarkable or memorable about Dumpling Kitchen and that makes me sad considering how excited I was about something new in town that wasn't fast food. read more

Love this restaurant. Food is always hot and fantastic. Services is quick and helpful. Very clean inside.

Found this little gem by accident. We made a spur of the moment decision to go to Castle Rock this evening to do some shopping. By the time we were done it was time for dinner. I brought up my trusty Yelp app and came across this place. I was wanting soup and noodles so decided to give this restaurant a try. Found the restaurant clean and bright. The young man behind the counter was very helpful and accommodating. They have a wonton soup but not one with noodles which is what I wanted. He said they could do that for me. The wonton soup was delicious and the noodles were perfect. We also ordered the dim sum sampler which consists of 4 different dumplings, delicious. read more

I am so happy to have Dumpling Kitchen in Castle Rock. Great food, flavors, consistency and service! My favorite dish is the wonton in chili oil - I could eat that every day, it's so perfect! I also love the noodles in chili sauce, and the pork bao. The buns are really soft and fluffy, not dry, super moist filling with great flavor. Next time I intend to try a dumpling and add chili momo sauce. 10/10 recommend. read more

Went to the Castlerock location that just opened. A little happy since there's hardly any decent Asian restaurants in this area. Got the Xiao Long, dim sum sampler and a wonton soup with pork dumplings to go. The restaurant is small but busy and has excellent service. I'm not sure why there's no phone number listed but you can walk in or order online. I walked in and my order was ready in about 10 mins. The chili sauce they serve is delicious and has great flavor. I must try this place again but dine in. They're located in that small shopping center where FedEx and Little Caesars are. Will definitely go again with my coworkers. read more

Freshest I've ever experienced with dumplings at a restaurant. We had a few different dumplings and they were all great. The space is small but very cute, about 6 different seating. I would not recommend bringing a large group. You order and pay at the counter and wait for them to bring your food to you. You have a decent fridge to select your beverage from water, soda and tea. At the table are chili oil, soy sauce and vinegar, and wooden chopsticks, soup spoon, small square plate and small sauce plate. Minimal but everything you need. The dumplings and bao mostly came in staked bamboo steamer. It's always fun to open the steamer and see what's inside. Each bite was super fresh and flavorful. Then add your sauce and ! read more

Food was very authentic, tasted great and took me back to memories growing up in Chicago's Chinatown. Extremely friendly service. It's actually more efficient to order than go take a seat and have a server take care of you, but I see a few complaints from people on here not understanding that in other countries it's a popular way to do food. Will definitely be back, thank you for opening good food in such an average food area. read more

Dumpling Kitchen - Wonton in Chili Oil appetizer was excellent - I could almost drink that sauce. The vegetable egg rolls and soup dumplings were great! - Noodles Near Me - Castle Rock, Colorado

We ordered Dim Sum Sampler, tomato egg noodles, and pork and shrimp dumplings. The tomato egg noodles is not too bad, my oldest says it tastes creamy like the ones she had in China. The pork and shrimp dumplings were boiled and tastes pretty good. I liked the corn addition, and it has nice texture. Edemame was good. The only thing disappointing is the dim sum sampler. For $12 you get 8 tiny grocery-store bought dim sums. Not worth the price and it's just mediocre. Not super impressed overall, but willing to try some other more supposedly authentic dishes. read more

Ordered on DoorDash. I will however not be trying it again, the reasoning behind my 3 star is because I can see why it would be enjoyable for some, the presentation was really nice, food seemed fresh, but it just wasn't for me, it fell a bit flat in flavor and yumminess. read more

The xiao long bao was good. The skin not too thick and a good amount of fresh hot soup inside. The youpo noodle bowl was more salty than I like. It was ok. He said his beef rice bowl was ok. The wonton in chili oil not bad. Wontons not as silky as I like. Definitely the Xiao long bao was the star. The lady server was personable and friendly. Owners are from mainland China and they tried lots of recipes for the Xiao long baos. I do like this one they settled on. Water is self serve and they do bring a jug around to top you up. Not a large place and it gets crowded so ordering online is a good idea in case no place is available to sit. Shared parking lot. One gender neutral restroom. Clean. I hope this place succeeds as there's a lack of delish food down here. Especially delish Asian food. read more

HONEST FOODIE REVIEW: The service and place was clean. The wontons with chili oil tasted good but some were served cold in the middle. We ordered the youpo and rauzao noodle bowls. The noodles came out condensed and SUPER slimy like it was prepackaged and not freshly made. For the price point there could've been more veggies - 2 bokchoy leaves was what we received. read more

Dumpling Kitchen lives up to expectations! It's rare to see a restaurant maintain consistent service so that their ratings are nearly perfect. We ordered the cucumber salad, the seasoned shrimp dumplings appetizer, and the pork dumplings. The cucumber salad must have had an entire large cucumber. The seeds were removed and came with a sesame dressing. The cucumber strips were crunchy and bite sized. My husband gobbled his pork dumplings and I tackled the shrimp. The pork dumplings had a pleasing ratio of ingredients and there were plenty to fill his belly. The shrimp appetizer was beautifully presented in its steamer. Six large shrimp, each wrapped and steamed to perfection. We will eat there again! read more
