I've been in this area for work, and when I talk to the people in the area they always recommend Asia Kitchen. I finally went in today for lunch and the restaurant was pretty busy. Christmas Eve. We recently moved to Elizabeth, looking for good Chinese. Placed our order for take out. Sounded busy, we were told it would be an hour. It was almost cold by the time we got it home. Definitely tasty and would have been even better served hot. Since they take your phone number, they should text when it's ready. That would have been optimal. read more

They have good lo mein at Asia kitchen. That's my favorite Chinese food. We have got a lot of takeout over the years. The dining room is small and sometimes it is full. No need to go to Parker. Our Chinese food is better. I have always had good service at this restaurant. read more

today is Tuesday, September 23, 2024 I just ordered lunch from Asia Kitchen, I've never had a problem before, and I have been coming by here for pick up for at least six years. I've never had an issue with the food before, today I got yellow broccoli, and the greasiest beef and broccoli, I have ever gotten. Should've put the broccoli in the trash instead of cooking it and selling it and I don't know what was up with the greasiness but anyway I couldn't eat it. I called the young lady and told her I wanted to bring it back to show it to her and she told me she didn't need to see it and if I didn't like it I SHOULD NOT COME BACK! So OK, I won't. I've never seen this girl before, but she was so rude on the phone that I will never go back and I'm just dumping my lunch in the trash. I'm glad you like to turn away business instead of trying to fix it. But no problem. I know she didn't know who I was, but she told me that I always complain about the food, and I have never complained about their food before, except for one time when I ordered shrimp, and they gave me chicken. And it wasn't even for me. It was for my neighbor. what a RUDE, and totally ungrateful employee, and you're right I will never go back. You forget that there are lots of Chinese places to order from! read more

Great place for takeout in Elizabeth! We typically order LovMein and Kung Pao and haven't regretted once. No alcohol here, but eat in and then visit the bar next door. And, now, you can apparently pay in timber, horses, and camels! (See their sign saying they don't take checks) read more

I suppose when I previously ordered take it was a good night, not the norm. Ordered take out and upon arrival saw a man who was either having a mental health crisis, mad and/or on drugs (was smoking something that was not THC or tobacco) and acting erratically. It wasn't until after paying did I realize it was someone who worked in the kitchen. My safety felt threatened walking past this individual and to think he was preparing food is scary and explains a lot. On the drive home I noticed the food was leaking out of the containers into the box and all over my car because lids to the containers were not secured properly. The chicken was so dry, inedible and was like trying to chew leather. The low mein noodles were tasteless except that so much sugar was added they were incredibly sweet. Gross. The sauteed vegetables were over cooked, dripping all over with a sweet sauce. I do not expect simple sauteed vegetables to have so much added sugar that the taste is overwhelmingly sweet! The smell of the Pho on the drive home was nauseating due to the overwhelming addition of anise. Yes, anise is added to pho broth but not in this amount, I make it frequently. I ordered 'meatball' pho which was absolutely inedible and certainly a mystery meat that was highly processed. There is no answer as to what the meatball is composed of. When I called and told the person who took my order that the chicken was so dry, overcooked and inedible she hung up on me and refused to answer the phone after multiple attempts at calling back. That was $99 of food that was totally wasted and inedible. Hindsight, I have never seen anyone eating in this place or leaving with take out. STAY AWAY from this place. read more

Solid meal that hit the spot for lunch. Their sign is down and I had to actually look up the outside photos on Yelp to be sure it was the right place, so make sure you know what you are looking for when you stop by. I got the lunch General Tso with hot and sour soup. The soup was pretty average, about as expected. The chicken had good flavor and had some spice to it. I didn't care for the egg roll or whatever came with the meal (it was soft throughout, but I like a crisp shell and more veggies inside). The fried rice was good as well. It's been a while hill since we stopped in and ate. We got the triple Kung pao which is chicken, beef and shrimp. It was amazing! We also got the sesame chicken (recommended by waitress) and it was amazing as well. Both came with fried rice. It all exceeded our expectations. Highly recommend you stop in or get a to go order!! read more

Beware. Beware. Beware!!!!..beware. RIP OFF! This place is a total rip off. The food quality is like 1.25$ per scoop place but their price is like the upscale restaurant. Paid almost 5 bucks for the two frozen cold eggrolls. 15 bucks for the chicken lomien came with no rice on side no plastic wares no napkin. They charge extra money for the bag of noodle to dip in soup and the dry noodle tasted old and oily. This place took advantage of the only restaurant in Elizabeth. I will go extra mile to the better restaurants in Franktown or Parker. Sorry Asia Kitchen! No more visit! read more

The best Asian restaurant in town. Lol. It's the only Asian restaurant in town. Hence the five stars. The food can compete with Asian restaurants in the city. They have the small town service. It's a small place with only six tables and a large screen tv. Locals typically get take out. Last night, we ordered lemon chicken, chow mein, beef broccoli, drunken noodles, and dumpling. We've had other items on the menu before. We haven't had anything bad here. read more

Such a disappointment. They took some things off the menu and no longer make dumplings. What Chinese restaurant doesn't make dumplings? It's my favorite and something I will drive to Parker or Castle Rock to get. I also noticed that on my last order the portions were smaller. A container of wonton soup had just one wonton. One! I used to order from them almost every week. Now I will never go back. read more

Had to ask if one of the meals came with rice - response "mmm,hmmm" after ordering everything and going to pick it up we were surprised at the cost as it was during lunch. The response was "you have to remind us it is lunch" paid almost double what we would have, charged extra for the rice (that comes with the lunch) no soup... disappointing read more

Grabbed the lunch special today, trying to help out restaurants. I had Happy Family and I now rename it Sad Family! This is the worst I have ever had! Egg roll horrible! I really like this place. They have really decent Chinese which can be difficult to come by these days, especially out here. Their hot & sour soup is so delicious. Their staffs always super friendly and it's usually not a long wait; though sometimes of course, everyone had the same idea as you and went for Chinese that night too but even the it's no more than you'd expect in such a situation. It's a really small space, so we usually order take out, but we've dined in too when it wasn't too busy & it's always a nice experience. Their pho is also good! (Can you tell I like soup? GREAT...when they are actually open. Super friendly staff. Little heavy on the brown sauces, in case that's not your thing. Tried many many dishes and been pleased with them all. Fast, tasty, reasonably priced, and order has always been correct. Could use more days open during the week. Could use less mystery "vacations." And definitely could use a delivery option. read more

She mentioned she was the former owner. She was incredibly kind, and we ended up having a really nice conversation in Mandarin. That personal touch made the experience even more memorable. Otherwise, really nice venue with lots of space and tables. Waiters always refilled my water, which is a good plus. Also gave me fresh rice when I took the leftovers to go. Overall, a solid meal with a couple standout dishes. I'd definitely come back for the fried fish fillet and tofu. Will be back to try their other dishes.

I waited over 10 minutes for it to cool down enough to enjoy. I really loved the taste, and I appreciate how they serve the food fresh, but maybe they could wait for it to cool before serving. The three breaded chicken dishes were all over cooked. They were so crunchy they were hard to chew. The "fried rice" was as bland and not very hot. The steamed dumplings were not steamed enough and the dough was still soggy and they weren't hot. All of my complaints deal with how the food was prepared. Maybe the flavors would be great, had everything been prepared properly but since it wasn't, there is no way to know. Ivy's was a huge disappointment, and despite all the high reviews, I would never give Ivy anything more than three stars and quite honestly if the service had not been so good. I would've given it a two star rating.
