Heard about this place from a family member. The owner of this Pho place has 5 sushi restaurants. I had their sushis which are good so I decided to come try out their Pho. I don't like the broth. Came in, got greeted by staff, sat down immediately (2pm) ordered a combination (shy of $19 pre tax) only 1 size bowl which looked like a large (fast 5 min service), was given lemon slice in water (unfiltered tap). The broth is mediocre, but I'm really strict on the flavor of the broth and for the price there are other richer fattier flavored pho spots. The portions are good, the right amount of meat to noodle ratio. My rating is mainly for the taste/price, the staff service is legit and I have no complaints with their service. Don't let my review stop you from trying Dope Pho if you're in the area, everyone's food standards are different but I'm glad that I've tried it. read more

The service was undesirable: a party of 5 had their order taken before our party of four, the level of "spice" was much hotter than explained, window ledges at the table dined had webs in the corner with dead species, ants crawled about and the servers were unfriendly. Another overhyped IG pho place! For $19 bowl of pho it was so mediocre. Another mass production of pho. The Bo ne was terrible. The meat was chewy. Pate tasted like the in a can pate. My first time here and I'm very impressed! It's a super cute place with great lighting. I got Pho Ga (chicken noodle soup) and it's one of the best I've ever had. Avoid!! Caution! definitely NOT dope - TON of MSG (toxic taste amplifier), NOT price friendly (RIP OFF), and NOT Sanitary. Peek into the kitchen when you first walk in or as you're about to pay inflated price bill, you'll be disgusted with how people's food are being prepared and what you'll be eating. The fried tofu appetizer is tasty. It's tossed with salt and pepper, onions, and little spice from sliced jalapeños. Good classic pho broth, aromatic and good choices of meats/cuts. I especially loved the Bún Bò Huế. It is flavorful and bold. The broth is rich, spicy, and tangy, prominent flavors combination of lemongrass, garlic, chili, and shrimp paste. We got this delivered and I picked it because they had a short rib pho that I don't see that many other pho places have so I thought it'd be worth checking out. My husband got the more standard rare steak and brisket. Nothing too special there and he didn't prefer the taste of their broth. If you compare the price of the two phos they are not that different (around $20 each) which I find to be on the expensive side for the rare steak and brisket noodle. Pho used to be more affordable but it seems like all the pho places are hiking up their prices. The short rib noodle came with two large short ribs, one was delicious fall off the bone and the other one was hard as a rock. I'm not entirely sure why there could be such a big difference in the two if they are cooking them the same way but suffice to say I was a bit dismayed that considering I was paying so much for the dish the second short rib was basically inedible. If both had been equally amazing in quality I probably would have bumped it up a star. read more

07/26/2025 - My husband and I went to this restaurant hoping to have good food since the reviews were very positive. Unfortunately, that was not the case for me. My appetizer was the Shrimp Spring Roll and there was absolutely no taste to the dish including the peanut sauce, very bland. My main dish was the Grilled Pork Chop with Egg over Rice. I had to ask the waitress for a knife since there was no knives with the other utensils placed at the table. This was the hardest, and very, very dry piece of meat I have ever tried to eat. You couldn't even cut the meat with the knife it was so hard. My only positives with this restaurant were: 1) Serving dishes that were shaped like a bamboo leaf. 2). Passion fruit jasmine tea with boba. 3). Fast Service There really was no customer service at this restaurant, just fast serving food. Nobody, checked on us or gave us our bill we just paid at the cash register. I guess this is normal for this restaurant. I will not be returning since there are so many Vietnamese restaurants in the area to choose from which can cook and serve so much better quality food with better service. Disappointed! read more

Was excited to try a new Pho spot! I absolutely love Pho! I was greeted and asked to sit anywhere! Great! Picked a window seat with my husband and looked through the menu. Patiently waited for a server to come and take the order and bring water. Unfortunately, never happened. Mind you the place was not busy at all. There were only 2 customers already enjoying their food. We were completely ignored. A family of 4 strolls through and they were seated, water was given, and their order taken. My friend ordered short rib over rice, she took one bite couldn't even cut the meat with a knife, let alone chew. Informed who I believe was the manager or cook, first thing she said was " so you're not going to pay for it?" she walked away, and never came back. We waited for another 10 mins. Nobody came back so my friend only had some of my noodles. When we went to go pay the cashier and I explained to him what happened he gave us attitude and said they did nothing wrong. NO APOLOGY! NO HOSPITALITY! NO ACT OF KINDNESS. He said it was our fault she did not like the food that she has to pay because they need to pay for restaurant bills, I informed him this was not customer service, if she did not eat the food and was not able to order anything else, his response was "well if you don't like your teacher you still have to go to school and pay for it." (I'm wearing my nursing school scrubs) Very inappropriate. I informed him I use to work as a server myself as well as my friend and this was not okay, my friend did not eat the food, I shared my soup with her. We could have at least gotten a refund or something else in replace of the bbq short ribs. We have ate at different pho spots before and know what bbq short ribs taste like.He said we don't need to come back because next time she might order something and say she did not like it again. Which is very unfortunate and not professional because our school is around the corner and a group of us students would gladly come bring business. He said the best he could do was give us 20% off which only took $3.75 off the total. Cashier was very inappropriate, we will not be coming back to support this business. *if you your food is not edible you will still have to pay for it* I felt terrible that my friend left hungry and the restaurant did absolutely nothing but manipulate and make US FEEL BAD for the way we didn't like the food. Id give them 3.26 stars on our first visit. We ordered the fresh spring rolls which were very fresh and yummy. We had the pork chop and rice plate where the pork chop was too thin and tasted more like jerky and was a bit dry. It was served with an overly sweet tangy fish sauce to dip in but all you can taste is the over powered sugary sweetness, no fish sauce umami flavor. We also ordered the grilled pork and shrimp vermicelli bowl. Everything was fresh, but it was served again with the same super sweet tangy sauce. The shrimp was fantastic. The pork was cooked okay, could have used some char. I would go back and try the pho. And maybe next time ask for a less sweet fish sauce to have with our meal.
