Dope Pho is located in a small strip mall close to the Arco gas station, Kakuna Sushi, Nails & Spa, etc. A nice simple, clean restaurant with a few simple decorations. Two separate single-user men and women's restrooms. The soup was a clean, simple seasoned broth. The short ribs were tender, fall-off-the-bone. While eating the tender beef ribs, I had a few bone chips, so be careful eating this. I mean, its the same whenever you are eating fish, you need to be cautious of any missed bones. This is our time trying dope pho and thought it was ok. The broth wasn't flavorful for the meatball pho, but they didn't skimp on the meat at all. They only have one size which is unfortunate because I was still hungry after finishing my bowl. What I loved about this pho place was that everything felt clean which isn't common for pho restaurants. I have to come back and try their vermicelli bowls and banh mi!

Best pho I've had in a while! The broth was flavorful, the ingredients were fresh, and the service was super fast. Great place if you want delicious food without a long wait. Definitely coming back!

Came here after Christmas for a warm place to eat in the cold! Ambiance 9/10: simple pho restaurant with minimal features but overall super clean inside. Service 10/10: the server greeted us as soon as we walked in! She and the older lady were both very warm and welcoming, always checking in to make sure the food was good and we were alright. Food 10/10: spring rolls were good (a little on the leafy side but I still enjoyed!!) pho and rice plate (not pictured) came out warm and delish! Their nuoc mam is sweet (yum!) and their egg rolls are very crispy! Total bill was around $54 for 2 entrees, 2 hot teas & an app! I would totally come again!!

I like how this place is open late because we came in after seeing holiday in the park on a cold night . Our party of 7 sat down right away and our server took our order right away. Food comes out so quickly and the soup was so hot! Perfect for a cold, late night. I recommend the beef skewers as an appetizer! They have a lot of flavor and super juicy. I'll try this place again

I'd give this spot a 3.5/5, not bad but could definitely be better. Wasn't particularly impressed with the food to come back though unfortunately. PASS: + Bun bo hue ($17.85) was missing some lemongrass and mam ruoc to add depth in flavors. However, they were generous with the meats which I appreciate

Food was delicious and service was for the most part quick. They also checked in on us to make sure we were okay thought out the meal. The vermicelli dish is my go to and it was delicious. For milk tea, they offer to make any adjustments to your drink so would recommend starting with less sweetness then adding as needed. They have some booth seating that are great for groups and kids. The only negative is that the bathroom had a sewage smell that was a bit off putting.

spicy beef noodle or bún bò huế and crispy ginger tofu...
    Kartika H.

first time here. ambiance is good and staffs are attentive. i will say foods are just ok or mediocre. i expect the bun bo hue a bit spicy or tangy. anyway, the ginger crispy tofu is recommended. the onion and ginger are blended and right taste. the tofu is quite crispy too ~ love it!!! prices are average and portion is quite a lot. overall, i want to give three and a half stars but since no half, i choose three stars this time...

With a name like Dope Pho you have to give it a try. Especially after I learned it was the same owner as Kakuna (my favorite go to sushi spot in Fremont). Restaurant is spacious and clean inside. We sat down and the menu had alot of great choices. We ordered shrimp spring rolls, beef stew pho, and rare beef and brisket pho. Good tasting broth for both phos but my favorite was the beef stew pho, just didn't like the chunks of carrots. My only complaint was our waters were never refilled.

Saw a bunch of ad recommendations and went out to try it. We ordered 3 items. Pho, noodle, and an egg coffee. Pho was a few dollars less than regular price during happy hour, hence they gave us very little meat, then realized other helpers definitely had more for a bowl of pho. Wild. They don't give us option to opt out of their petty happy hour lol We ordered egg coffee, they left out during the first time ordering, we asked them and the same person who took the order asked if we want to order it when we asked if they still had it. Nothing much just regular viet coffee with a cream top Craziest part is they messed up our noodle order. The photo is taken after they "fixed" our order. They gave us the wrong type of noodle so they took it back and mixed the shrimps from original noodle they gave us this plate was untouched, it came out like this. No apology, just snatched the noodle like we were at fault. Don't believe all the influencers lol wild customer service.

Ordered pho dac biet. It was pretty good. Broth was flavorful. Lots of meat. Noodles a bit overcooked. Service friendly and fast. Ambiance is clean and family friendly. I would come again.

Went here for the first time today. We've been seeing a lot of Instagram posts about Dope Pho so we decided to give it a try. The restaurant is in a little plaza, parking is limited and there are a few places to eat next door and across. As soon as we walked in, the waiter sat us right by the door. There was a draft and it was cold. We asked if we can move to the table across but the waiter ended up closing the door. The menu is decent and the variety is the same as any pho restaurant. We ordered the grilled chicken with vermicelli along with an egg roll, brisket pho, and chicken pho. The two pho bowls came out first. After waiting about 15-20 minutes, one of the workers was mentioning that they are almost out of noodles and asked if I want a rice plate instead. I ended up opting for that since i had no other choice. The grilled chicken was decent, rice was on the sticky side but good, the veggies were decent, but the disappointing one for me was the egg roll. Thie egg roll tasted more like a veggie egg roll and had a weird taste to it. I'm sure the other dishes were good but the rice plate was somewhat of a disappointment for me. This place is probably going to be a one and done for me since I still prefer my go to spots. On the plus side they stay open late.

Finally decided to try this local pho restaurant we heard about but haven't had a chance to go yet until last Wednesday. We took the kids here after school and ordered the combo pho and a beef and meatball combo pho. The place looks clean and although it's a smaller restaurant, people come and go so there was no wait when we were there. The pho veggies came out and it look fresh and just the way I like my fresh basils and bean sprouts. The portion was ok too considering our kids shared with us. The broth to me was ok and more on the bland side. I didn't taste the bone broth taste that I'm used to on the day I went. I saw others order rice plates and there's other items on the menu I would like to try another time. Good to see more local pho places in Fremont.

One of the best pho spots in the bay! My friends and I come to this place all the time :)…read more I always order the Filet mignon and brisket pho and it's one of the best pho's ever. The broth is good and the brisket can be fatty sometimes (which I like!!) I ask for extra lemons and a side of white onions w/ vinegar and they're very accommodating! They even give the fatty broth (hanh Nuoc beo) too if you want that deeper beef flavor! :) It can get pretty busy, but we're always seated quickly. The space is roomy with plenty of seating, and it definitely lives up to the hype for great pho If you're from Orange County, it's pretty similar to pho 101! Spring Rolls: Grilled pork & shrimp wrapped in rice paper with lettuce, cucumbers, chives, daikon & mint served with peanut sauce. These are probably the best Spring Rolls I've had in this area, the special sauce is definitely the grilled pork which is flavorful and tender and really elevates this simple appetizer. Short Rib Pho: Comes with a giant caveman rib sticking out. This was trendy a couple years ago but here is the meat is well cooked and seasoned and not just a gimmick. Broth is also above average and delicious. Shrimp and Pork Vermicelli: My wife eats this when she feels like something "clean" and it's great here. The signature special sauce is the special way they grill the pork here. Fried Rice: This was the oddest one, this one is their own unique creation. It seems to use tomato rice and something fishy in the base. Meat was cut overly large for us but it was tender but too few egg was used and for leftovers I'm going to add more eggs.
