**June 2024: Sunday Morning Visit** I've had my fair share of donuts and let me tell you the donuts at The Donut Hub have some of my favorites! They have more of a malasada taste to it, so it's more light and fluffy than a traditional one. I also really like the citrus treats as they add a nice tartness to the bite and balance out the sweetness of the frosting. The Lemon Blueberry is the most popular here, but I really enjoyed the candied orange on the Orange Circle Signature. The shop is simple and clean, and the owners are very positive and friendly. I would be happy to come back and enjoy more donuts here!

Donut hub is close by my work, and I've been meaning to visit the shop. I finally was able to visit the shop on an early Friday morning at 6:30 am. I needed a pick me up, for a work meeting. The donut shop is located on the corner, in a plaza with ample parking. The store is very cozy and spacious. I was the only customer at the shop, and the owner greeted me warmly. I wanted to try their special donuts. Unfortunately, the owner informed me that he only had the lemon blueberry and hibiscus donuts. He had to wait for his wife to come in. Aww bummer, I'll arrive a bit later next time. I ordered a sausage breakfast sandwich on a bagel, and a lemon blueberry donut. He asked me if I wanted the hibiscus donut, but I told him I wasn't a fan of hibiscus. While he was in the back, I sat on one of the chairs. It didn't take long for the food to come out. We had a little chat, since I thought he was Vietnamese. He was telling me a bit about his family background, which was nice to learn. Also, he threw in the hibiscus donut and donut holes in for free. I didn't expect that, but it was greatly appreciated! I enjoyed the flavorful taste of the sausage breakfast sandwich. Also, I liked that the bagels were thick. I only tried the lemon blueberry donut, and I'm in love. The donut was so light and airy, with the right amount of tartness from the lemon. I also enjoyed the fluffy donut holes. The price of the donuts are affordable. I'll be back to try more flavors of the donuts!

Simon and his wife are so friendly and welcoming with big smiles. They go above and beyond to make us feel special! We usually get Boston cream, blueberry, and sugar donuts along with mango smoothie. You can't go wrong with any of their fluffy donuts, but our favorite is the sausage egg breakfast burritos. Perfect combination of salty and savory. No wonder we keep finding ourselves every weekend at this best donut shop in OC!

Donut Hub has the best Donuts and sandwiches in the Orange area! I work across the complex from them and have been getting their food the last 6 years. The donuts are always fresh and the sandwiches are delicious. Simon, the owner, and his wife are both wonderful people and deserve all the support for their small business.

I just can't say enough great things about this donut shop!! Their donuts are ALWAYS fresh, and they also offer breakfast burritos, which are really good, and breakfast sandwiches which are my favorite - and for just a little extra you can get your sandwich on a croissant - YUM! (*Just a note: they put Mayo in their breakfast sandwiches, which I really like - but some might not. So if you're not a mayo person, be sure to ask them to leave it off) They also have smoothies - which I haven't tried yet. Now that it's been warming up, I'll have to give it a try. You can't beat the freshness of the donuts and hot food, but also the friendliness of the owner, Simon. He'll always greet you with a smile and is just a very kind guy! Ok, so I know I have already mentioned this in my previous reviews, but their apple fritters are on point - crispy and sweet on the outside, and moist and apple-y in the middle. And, if you're lucky to get one first thing in the morning, it will also still be warm - YUM!! And also be sure to get a dozen donuts holes if they still have some. They are fresh and light and so tasty!! Enjoy!!

I've had Donut Hub bookmarked for a while now because of the high reviews and the delicious looking speciality donuts, so I was excited to finally be able to try it. Unfortunately, when I went, they completely ran out of speciality donuts already which was a bummer and surprising because it was only noon. I guess this place is just really popular and you have to come early to get what you want. I still ended up ordering the lemon filled donut and I really liked that! Even though it's more of a traditional donut, they do it really well here because the actual texture of the dough somehow tasted better than your average traditional donut. Alongside this, the jelly had more of a natural citrus taste to it instead of an artificial one. This makes me want to try the speciality donuts even more but with that being said, if they're out of those when you go, I still recommend picking up a traditional donut because you won't regret it. The store overall is the size of your average donut shop and is clean and brightly lit with a few seats if you choose to eat there. There were two ladies working there when I went and they were both so kind and sweet. The store is located in a small plaza and finding parking was not a problem.

Reasonably priced specialty donut shop with some interesting flavors. Although not as exotic as Sidecar, this place offers unique flavors at better price, and also carries less expensive traditional donuts. I got Lemon Blueberry, Nutella Bliss, Tiramisu, and Orange Circle. First three were equally good, although I would give slight advantage to Tiramisu for layers of flavor. Orange Circle was my least favorite, even though it's the signature flavor here. However, this is mostly due to me not liking orange flavor desserts in general. I probably wouldn't have gotten this if it wasn't the signature flavor.

Preordered 2 dozens of their special donuts for my doctor's office. Simon was super nice and helpful. He even gave me a courtesy call when I was running late for the scheduled pick up. So thoughtful! They looked sooooo pretty! Everyone at the office was raving about the donuts. They all loved it They have great quality food and the prices are decent. Excellent customer service as well. Highly recommended!

12pm and all the donuts are gone! :) must be popular!!

We went to Donut Hub at 6:30pm, 30 minutes before they closed. This was my 1st time here and my hopes weren't High stopping by towards closing time.... BUT this will be the only place I get donuts from now on!! 1. The owners are SO nice, helpful and courteous!!! 2. Donuts were so fresh and didn't taste stale or been sitting out all day. 3. My daughter and I enjoyed every bite and said these were the best donuts ever!!! 4. Very, very clean inside!!! I can't wait to go back and try the coffee and other Flavors. Best part, it's close to my house so I'm so happy I found the best donut shop!! read more

I wish I could give them 100 stars. It's clean and welcoming & the wall art is adorable. Their donuts are fresh, smoothies are delicious, the fresh Orange Juice is so refreshing I'm kind of addicted. Their breakfast burritos OMG amazing I get the tofu breakfast burrito & they give you a fresh salsa with it. They have dairy substitutes for their blended drinks!! They also make cute donut bouquets! But my absolute favorite part about this place is the staff. They are so friendly, they asked my name once & remembered it! They are always so kind and helpful. I wish I could go every day but my wallet and waist would suffer lol read more

Best donuts in town! The owner is always at the shop when I come in for my croissant & coffee. He and his staff are very friendly. The specialty donuts are amazing! My favorite is the hibiscus one. The Vietnamese iced coffee is also very great if you need an extra kick in the morning or afternoon. The donut shop is extremely clean and they have a rewards program that is linked to your phone. They have good seating if you want sit and enjoy your food. My coworker recommended the breakfast burrito and it was on point. The home made salsa was delicious. I'm giving this place 5 stars for the great and consistent customer service. read more

What a fabulous find on Tustin Avenue in Orange! On my first visit I tried the ham and cheese croissant. The large croissant was light, fluffy and melted in my mouth. Combined with the delicious deli ham and Swiss cheese, the result was a party in my mouth. My surprise dessert was a little donut hole which was great. On my second visit I tried a made-to-order breakfast burrito with bacon. I like crispy bacon and that was not a problem. They cut their burritos in half so I delved into my first half as I was driving. I took a couple of bites and it was absolutely scrumptious. When I got home I added the house salsa and was more impressed. During my second visit I also decided to try a maple and bacon donut. I waited until lunchtime to try the donut and this is now my favorite combination because it is so interesting in my mouth. Everything is freshly made including orange juice, which is the reason they open early each day. They make special occasion decorated donuts for parties and showers. I am so glad this place is not on my route to work because if it was, I would be tempted to stop by every day to grab a donut, or two or a dozen! The donuts here are super fresh and delicious. I am a fan of anything lemon so the lemon blue donut is one of my favorites (as it is for many other people). I think I found my new fav donut place in OC!! Stopped by this place on my way home around 12:30pm and they still had a wide selection of regular and specialty donuts which I was surprised about b/c most donut shops run out of their specialty donuts by noon. My top picks were tiramisu (had real mascarpone cheese filling that was super rich and to DIE for, perfect for coffee lovers), pumpkin pie which had real pumpkin pie filling, and the chocolate peanut butter lovers donut which had chocolate glaze and peanut butter drizzle w/ peanut butter cup toppings. Everything I got I really enjoyed and did not disappoint and the lady who worked there (the owner?) was super nice and sweet and even threw in a few complimentary donut holes since it was my first time there. I'll definitely be back next time in the area! :) read more

This place is great. The staff are incredibly friendly and go out of their way to make sure you have what you want. They also have an amazing memory - I was trapped on the East Coast for a while during the pandemic, and when I returned the guy was like - "I don't think I've seen you for about 7 months?" - exactly the amount of time I was gone, wow. They have managed to stay open & safe throughout the pandemic. The doughnuts are great, and there are a variety of lunch & breakfast sandwiches that are also really good. It's also my favorite place just to get coffee, and the prices are better than most coffee shops in the area. They are super accommodating and a wonderful place to have in the neighborhood. read more

These are the best donuts I've ever had!! I was looking for a special donut place to get my Dr and his staff some treats as a way of saying thank you for their care. Came across Donuthub, read the reviews and thought I gotta try. (Donuts are my weakness) Got half a dozen for the office staff and for myself. All I can say is AMAZING!!!! these are the BEST I have ever had! Triple berry and orange dreamiscle were my favorite !! The dough is soft and doesn't have a typical donut taste (if that makes sense) , the center was not too sweet and that's what won my heart. I was expecting this really sweet centers , nope! It was perfect! Can't wait to go back to try other flavors and give the sandwiches / breakfast burritos a try. read more

Came across this place on Yelp trying to find a quick bite and the reviews on the owner being the sweetest man are spot on!! He greeted my boyfriend and I as soon as we came in, we were first timers so we took a while but he had no problem explaining menu items and even gave us a few free donut holes with our order :) Only con in my opinion was the filling in the pistachio filled donut I had gotten, the filling tasted exactly like cool whip and left a film in my mouth probably wouldn't get that particular donut again however the the donut holes, Vietnamese coffee and mango tango smoothie were bomb which is why I didn't dock stars. I will definitely be back to try different donuts though read more

I rarely write reviews but I just have to for DonutHub...I've been coming here since they first opened. Mandy and her husband are just the friendliest people! I haven't stepped foot into any other donut shop since the existence of Donut Hub. Their specialty donuts are awesome! I also really enjoy their simple chocolate bar and every now and then the turkey/cheese crossaint would be my choice of breakfast. What sets them apart is that they can create/design donuts. I gave Mandy a sample showing her what I had envisioned for our baby shower and it came out beyond my expectations! She was very communicative throughout the process and even showed me a sample. First, it's the hospitality and kindness that keeps me coming back here. They go out of their way to get you exactly what you want, and do it with a huge smile on their faces. The hospitality here is unmatched. Plus, the donuts here are fantastic. The dough, in my opinion, is delicious and made perfectly, especially in their yeast raised donuts. They're delectable, and I highly recommend that any human who craves something sweet and is in this area stops by and gives this place a go. There are many wonderful options, from gourmet donuts (lemon blueberry, tiramisu, pumpkin pie, etc.) to the originals we know and love, like glazed, chocolate glazed, sugar, cakes, etc. (a tip--if you want your donut filled with a certain filling, just ask!). Taste delicious if possible even better than it looks and that's hard to do. Because the donuts look amazing! Always fresh and you need donuts! you can pre-order and they'll have it ready for you when you walk in. Also being able to just walk in and order a donut / Coffee and be out fast helps me get to work on time read more

If you are craving donuts, look no further! These babies are the best donuts I've ever had. They are so delicate and flavorful they are better than most store bought desserts, but good luck getting them to last that long in your house without getting eaten! I love their lemon donut, you can taste the delicious tanginess of real lemon zest as opposed to artificial fruit flavors you get from most places. Yes the price for a donut is slightly higher than what you would get from a winchells but that's because they are 100x better! You get what you pay for here, high quality, fresh products!! At first I was hesitant to try this new Donut shop. Why? Well, I had seen other shops open and disappoint and disappear. Now the difference at the Hub is that they offer a great variety of donuts, drinks, and of course if you don't have a sweet tooth, the Hub has "BOMB BURRITOS"(The works). As for their croissants they are tasty too. Now I can say that the feeling that I had, being disappointed. That's gone. I can say the Hub is here to stay in Orange and if you haven't visited, I highly suggest you try them out. read more

Perhaps I went at the wrong time but when I visited there was hardly any donuts left. The owner did offer to make new ones on request but I was in a hurry so I just picked out whatever is in the glass case. I brought it to my office and tried one but one of them tasted slightly stale so I didn't even finish that one.
