**June 2024: Sunday Morning Visit** I've had my fair share of donuts and let me tell you the donuts at The Donut Hub have some of my favorites! They have more of a malasada taste to it, so it's more light and fluffy than a traditional one. I also really like the citrus treats as they add a nice tartness to the bite and balance out the sweetness of the frosting. The Lemon Blueberry is the most popular here, but I really enjoyed the candied orange on the Orange Circle Signature. The shop is simple and clean, and the owners are very positive and friendly. I would be happy to come back and enjoy more donuts here!

Donut hub is close by my work, and I've been meaning to visit the shop. I finally was able to visit the shop on an early Friday morning at 6:30 am. I needed a pick me up, for a work meeting. The donut shop is located on the corner, in a plaza with ample parking. The store is very cozy and spacious. I was the only customer at the shop, and the owner greeted me warmly. I wanted to try their special donuts. Unfortunately, the owner informed me that he only had the lemon blueberry and hibiscus donuts. He had to wait for his wife to come in. Aww bummer, I'll arrive a bit later next time. I ordered a sausage breakfast sandwich on a bagel, and a lemon blueberry donut. He asked me if I wanted the hibiscus donut, but I told him I wasn't a fan of hibiscus. While he was in the back, I sat on one of the chairs. It didn't take long for the food to come out. We had a little chat, since I thought he was Vietnamese. He was telling me a bit about his family background, which was nice to learn. Also, he threw in the hibiscus donut and donut holes in for free. I didn't expect that, but it was greatly appreciated! I enjoyed the flavorful taste of the sausage breakfast sandwich. Also, I liked that the bagels were thick. I only tried the lemon blueberry donut, and I'm in love. The donut was so light and airy, with the right amount of tartness from the lemon. I also enjoyed the fluffy donut holes. The price of the donuts are affordable. I'll be back to try more flavors of the donuts!

Simon and his wife are so friendly and welcoming with big smiles. They go above and beyond to make us feel special! We usually get Boston cream, blueberry, and sugar donuts along with mango smoothie. You can't go wrong with any of their fluffy donuts, but our favorite is the sausage egg breakfast burritos. Perfect combination of salty and savory. No wonder we keep finding ourselves every weekend at this best donut shop in OC!

Donut Hub has the best Donuts and sandwiches in the Orange area! I work across the complex from them and have been getting their food the last 6 years. The donuts are always fresh and the sandwiches are delicious. Simon, the owner, and his wife are both wonderful people and deserve all the support for their small business.

I just can't say enough great things about this donut shop!! Their donuts are ALWAYS fresh, and they also offer breakfast burritos, which are really good, and breakfast sandwiches which are my favorite - and for just a little extra you can get your sandwich on a croissant - YUM! (*Just a note: they put Mayo in their breakfast sandwiches, which I really like - but some might not. So if you're not a mayo person, be sure to ask them to leave it off) They also have smoothies - which I haven't tried yet. Now that it's been warming up, I'll have to give it a try. You can't beat the freshness of the donuts and hot food, but also the friendliness of the owner, Simon. He'll always greet you with a smile and is just a very kind guy! Ok, so I know I have already mentioned this in my previous reviews, but their apple fritters are on point - crispy and sweet on the outside, and moist and apple-y in the middle. And, if you're lucky to get one first thing in the morning, it will also still be warm - YUM!! And also be sure to get a dozen donuts holes if they still have some. They are fresh and light and so tasty!! Enjoy!!

I've had Donut Hub bookmarked for a while now because of the high reviews and the delicious looking speciality donuts, so I was excited to finally be able to try it. Unfortunately, when I went, they completely ran out of speciality donuts already which was a bummer and surprising because it was only noon. I guess this place is just really popular and you have to come early to get what you want. I still ended up ordering the lemon filled donut and I really liked that! Even though it's more of a traditional donut, they do it really well here because the actual texture of the dough somehow tasted better than your average traditional donut. Alongside this, the jelly had more of a natural citrus taste to it instead of an artificial one. This makes me want to try the speciality donuts even more but with that being said, if they're out of those when you go, I still recommend picking up a traditional donut because you won't regret it. The store overall is the size of your average donut shop and is clean and brightly lit with a few seats if you choose to eat there. There were two ladies working there when I went and they were both so kind and sweet. The store is located in a small plaza and finding parking was not a problem.

Reasonably priced specialty donut shop with some interesting flavors. Although not as exotic as Sidecar, this place offers unique flavors at better price, and also carries less expensive traditional donuts. I got Lemon Blueberry, Nutella Bliss, Tiramisu, and Orange Circle. First three were equally good, although I would give slight advantage to Tiramisu for layers of flavor. Orange Circle was my least favorite, even though it's the signature flavor here. However, this is mostly due to me not liking orange flavor desserts in general. I probably wouldn't have gotten this if it wasn't the signature flavor.

Preordered 2 dozens of their special donuts for my doctor's office. Simon was super nice and helpful. He even gave me a courtesy call when I was running late for the scheduled pick up. So thoughtful! They looked sooooo pretty! Everyone at the office was raving about the donuts. They all loved it They have great quality food and the prices are decent. Excellent customer service as well. Highly recommended!

12pm and all the donuts are gone! :) must be popular!!

I can't believe I haven't tried this little donut shop before after passing by it forever. I was in the mood for a coffee "pick me up" this morning and my fix is always a Vietnamese coffee. Decided to try Donut Hub and boy I was NOT disappointed. It's one of the best Vietnamese coffees I've had in a long time. Donuts are really fresh and tasty. The fancy maple bacon donut is delicious. The service is A+++ -- quick and friendly. The shop is clean which is particularly important in the time of COVID-19. Masks are worn by patrons and staff alike. Hand sanitizer is readily available. This will definitely be new donut shop from now on! read more

This place is amazing! All the food is so great and fresh. The owners are beyond wonderful and accommodating and their donut flavors are delicious and inventive!! I work across the parking lot and get my lunch sandwiches there now regularly because they are just so good! Came here first time before coming to work customer service was great and the place looks cool and clean gave me my order quick and the drinks they made were really good definetky gonna keep coming u guys should check out they're ham and cheese crossants!! Update:5/18/19 cane back after a while cause my girlfriend no longer works around the area but I always get the ham and cheese croissant it's soo good and a coffee just wanted to acknowledge that the customer service is real it's the same customer service I had from when I first when in there everyone there is polite and attends quickly thank you!!!! read more

I love DH!! One of the nicest and caring business owners I've met! I'm a sucker for a donut shop, what can I say.. donuts are my weakness!! This is truly a hidden gem! The first time we found out about Donut Hub, my mom and my sister went in for me and said how awesome the owner was! They brought me a bagel back and I was hooked! Her bagels are so delicious! The texture is more doughy and softer than most bagel places but I love it! Her cream cheese is also delicious and goes well with the bagels! I've been to Donut Hub over 3x and the owner remembers my bagel order and gets it right every time! It's the little things like this that can leave a great lasting impression on the business for us customers! The owner really takes pride in everything she makes and puts on the menu, her donuts have great presentation! I haven't tried any of the fancy donuts yet LOL I keep it simple and stick to my basic donuts like the crumb donuts and donut holes! Everything I've had is great! I've had her boba drinks, I didn't care for the milk tea but the Thai tea was more my liking but it was a bit strong so I came home and added some liquid sugar and it was tasty! Overall I'm a huge fan of Donut Hub! I come on a weekly visit for my bagel fix and never leave dissatisfied! Donut Hub FTW! What a great spot! The staff was so friendly when I came in. I ordered a pepperoni sandwich on crescent roll, which they were out of but quickly went to the back to make more. The lemon blueberry doughnut was fluffy and had a perfectly balanced flavor. But the Oreo was really incredible because it wasn't heavy. The cream was fluffy! read more

WOW! The best donuts ever. We came because my daughter is heading back to college in Boston this weekend and they don't have any real donut shops there, only 1 chain place with frozen donuts. We are so impressed, the shop is so clean, the staff so friendly, the donuts so delicious! They were out of the peanut butter dream and that was the one my daughter wanted so they made one for her. It was the most decadent treat and everything a true PB/chocolate lover would want. The lemon-blueberry and tiramisu were also incredible. We bought a mixed dozen to share with our group and everyone enjoyed the artisan donuts as well as the regular. Another real surprise was the Minty Ice Coffee, it was a cool light refreshing coffee with real mint leaves, OMG! Coffee chains watch out. We will definitely we back. Let's talk donuts. I love mom and pop donut shops cause they're much better than chains. I'm not going to say the name of the chain I so hate because stans are going to find me. Anyways, Donut Hub is a quaint little donut shop with your standard donuts and some interesting variety. I always test a donut shop by their plain glazed donut and theirs stood up very well against all the other donut places I've been to. I got my boyfriend the caramel banana donut and he loved it as well. The true star, the breakfast burrito. The breakfast and sandwiches are made to order. I got two of the works breakfast burrito and they're huge. Like worthy of two meals huge. It was a bit plain and I wish I got more salsa on the side, but I did take it to-go and didn't have an opportunity to ask for more. They didn't skimp on the meat or the veggies which I HEAVILY appreciated. Most places I've had breakfast burritos the burrito is 1/2 potato and 1/3 egg and the last 1/6 is meat and other fillings. So good job on that. I'll be coming back just for that! Overall I'd say this place is pretty good with variety and all their things are standard and of course you can find better, but their variety makes me want to come back as well as their friendly customer service. I'll have to try the coffee when I come back as well. read more

Bomb! Very delicious, I had the Hibiscus and salted caramel. When you take a bite, you bite into pillowy softness and the glaze with berries is just rite not overwhelmingly sweet. The salted caramel donut had bit of a sweeter glaze. Oh and the Vietnamese coffee was good too! read more

I was craving a breakfast burrito and then I came across this hidden gem in Orange. I haven't noticed this place even though I drive down this street all the time! When you first walk in, you are greeted by the two owners I believe. They are really nice and accommodating to you. They will explain the menu and what they have to offer. I ordered the sausage and bacon breakfast burrito. Usually you have to choice either one. However, I asked for both without extra charge. You are also allowed to make it is a breakfast sandwich which if you like to too. They also provided a free donut with my purchased, WHO DOESN'T LIKE FREE FOOD!!! I definitely will be coming back!!! Almost forgot mention, they offer a stamp card, you earn a stamp when you spend $5 or more. read more

From the outside it looks like a standard donut shop, but when you walk inside it's so aesthetic and nice! There's a huge menu for coffee and other drinks and there are so many kinds of donuts that alll look amaziiiing. I got the maple bacon, triple berry, and cinnamon toast crunch. The donut itself is so soft and melts in your mouth. The donuts are definitely on the sweet side, but they're huge, beautiful, delicious, and well worth what you pay. read more

I heard about this place through a friend's posting FB. I had the caramel banana dounut and I also bought a ham and cheese croissant. Both were very good. The caramel dounut was as good as the ones at the other dounut shops I had previously reviewed. The ham and cheese croissant seems to have more ham in it than others. I also ordered a small coffee and bottled water all came to about $8.00...so price wise, it's much cheaper than the others. The owners are very friendly...very personable. read more

Had to update my review to say that I e been here 3 more times. lol. The quality just gets better and better somehow. This is a great place. I highly recommend it. ----------------- Yay! A nice little cafe/donut place close to home. I would show pictures of what I ordered, but it's already gone. Piping hot croissant sandwich with a peanut butter chocolate donut. What's not to love? The coffee was tasty and not bitter. The people were super nice. They really made us feel like we were right at home. Going again tomorrow for my free donut with coffee purchase. Woo hoo! If you're looking for the BEST breakfast burrito, look no further. I ordered the bacon and egg burrito. Made fresh to order & super hot. The perfect ratio of egg, hash brown, crispy bacon and tortilla! The outside of the tortilla was grilled, but super soft. Perfection!! None of this 40 tons of hashbrowns and 2 pounds of extra tortilla business. I was concerned with it being a donut shop that the salsa would be in a ketchup packet. It's homemade salsa. So good. Coffee is also good. Taking some donuts home to the fam. Sam, the owner threw in 2 free. Great service! read more

Went in early this morning to check it out based off of the other reviews and I was not disappointed. The staff was very friendly and the inside of the establishment is extremely clean. They had a large selection of donuts and they have other items as well like different croissants, breakfast sandwiches and breakfast burritos. I ordered the bacon burrito and it was so good, the hashbrowns were spectacular and the red salsa (unsure if it is made there, ill have to ask) was great with it. I also had one of the rainbow sprinkle donuts and it was really good as well. Ill be going back, often I think! Update 5/24/18 Donut Hub is no one-hit wonder. This place rocks! I have been here about 4 or 5 times in the last week now and it never disappoints. Their staff is so friendly, their cashier knows me on a first name basis now (I am not sure if that is a good thing or not? lol). Their breakfast burritos are so good, I highly recommend The Works and the Sausage burritos. They make their own salsa and jalapenos in house, both are very delicious and perfect on the burrito. Give these guys a chance, I promise you wont be disappointed. read more

Today my cousin and I decided we needed something over the top. My sister had told me about The donut hub so we ventured out. I can not say enough good things about this place. Some of the best customer service I have ever had, and definitely the best donuts I have ever had. I wish I had it taken pictures but we ate them before we got home. Do yourself a favor and give them a try, you'll definitely be going back a second time , I can't wait to go back again. read more

When there are donut shops practically on every corner, which one do you try? THIS ONE! I've stopped in a handful of times to get my favorite - the Maple Bacon donut. And when it's not in the case, the manager gets one made right away. First, the donuts are always so soft and fresh and the selection is great. I love how they put the donuts in a plastic container so the fresh frosting on the donuts don't get smeared inside a bag. Besides the delicious donuts, the manager is so very kind and polite. Fresh-tasting donuts and outstanding customer service keeps me coming back! Give them a try, you won't be sorry! read more

At first I was hesitant to try this new Donut shop. Why? Well, I had seen other shops open and disappoint and disappear. Now the difference at the Hub is that they offer a great variety of donuts, drinks, and of course if you don't have a sweet tooth, the Hub has "BOMB BURRITOS"(The works). As for their croissants they are tasty too. Now I can say that the feeling that I had, being disappointed. That's gone. Perhaps I went at the wrong time but when I visited there was hardly any donuts left. The owner did offer to make new ones on request but I was in a hurry so I just picked out whatever is in the glass case. I brought it to my office and tried one but one of them tasted slightly stale so I didn't even finish that one.
