Came in right before they closed and the guy(probably owner) was really nice and catered to us. He said we can order any donut we want and he'll make it to order . I hate to be that customer to come in last minute but he accommodated us all the way! He even gave us free donuts!? Ugh so cool! It was our first time here too! Was definitely not disappointed!! I love donuts. My favorite being the maple bar. Therefore, I judge all donut shops by it. The maple bar here was just OK. The donut was a little on flakier side, and I prefer a doughier donut. The maple frosting was OK, but also hard and broken apart into small bits instead of being creamy. Wouldn't necessarily get one again. On the other hand, that Orangesicle donut was pretty dang amazing! The variety is fun an unique. And while I wouldn't get the maple bar again, the other donuts make up for it. read more

Been wanting to try for quite a while and finally talked hubby into stopping by and bringing home some goodies. He reported that the place was very clean and service was very friendly. He said many customers were even greeted by their first names! Have to admit - the donuts were some of the best I've ever had - not too overly sweet either and such unique flavors! Where do I begin. Sam and the ladies that work there or possibly owners as well, are some of the nicest people I think I've met in my life. This was so relevant when Covid came because they would go out of their way to find cheap deals on gloves, sanitizer and masks while everybody else in the regular marketplace was gouging people. The donuts speak for themselves. They are always fresh and the specialty donuts are phenomenal. If you haven't gone here, it is definitely worth the trip and or the drive as I will come from Irvine just to see him and get donuts for myself, the office and or clients. Everything was so fresh and like everyone else says, the service was amazing as you're greeted by the cheerful owners! When you walk in, there aren't many donuts in the display because they bring some fresh ones out from the back depending on what you order! I got: lemon blueberry: 10/10 my fav; great tarte fresh lemon flavor hibiscus: 5/10 salted caramel: 10/10 perfect salty caramel flavor maple bacon: 8/10 can't go wrong; a classic banana caramel: 7/10 wish the banana was stronger nutella bliss: 6/10 wasn't a big fan of the coffee cream inside but nutella wasn't too overpowering which I like blueberry cake: 8/10 not the moistest cake donut ever but still really good blueberry flavor and glaze Gotta try more flavors next time! But the good news is, I asked the owner about the specialty donuts (that were gone) and he was willing & happy to make all of them! They offer the classic donuts (sprinkles, glazed, bars, twists, old-fashioned, donut holes, etc), gourmet donuts (donuts with cereal, matcha green tea, lemon blueberry, white chocolate oreo, maple bacon, etc) and giant croissants (butter, fruit-filled, ham and cheese, spinach and cheese, jalapeno, etc). The choices are endless. Everything is labeled properly and the prices are clearly written in the display case and in a big blackboard. I chose the spinach and cheese croissant. It's delicious. This place is over the top amazing!! They offer so much as far as gourmet donuts, donut bouquets, smoothies, coffees, breakfast burritos or Sandwiches, and lunch items. I came today for the first time after looking up "gourmet donuts" on yelp. The reviews and photos looked just like everything I hoped for. In person, it's beyond that. The customer service is excellent, the customers who came in seemed to have a great relationship with the owner and spoke highly of them. They take special custom orders with a 48hr notice. I originally came for donuts for a corporate event today, and grabbed a Lox bagel for myself. Oh my goodness, it was ginormous & delicious. They are very quick with service, accommodating and kind. There isn't enough stars that you could give to Donut Hub for what you get at your first step into their door to the last step as you walk out. I'm a foodie, a big yelp user and I love trying new places hoping to find something that will make my tummy happy and I can say my tummy was more than that. They have a good variety of specialty donuts, the usual classics, and so much more. If you need a caffeine kick, their Vietnamese iced coffee is a thumbs up . I love that their donuts are not greasy and it doesn't make me feel like I just ate a pound of sugar. Croissants are fresh and filled with gooeyness. Breakfast sandwiches oh my! The owners Mandy and Bora are a delight as well as their staff. You will always get a friendly smile and I have never left the place without getting a few laughs. I never stay and eat at a donut shop but this is one I have done many times. Can't beat having a few laughs chatting with the owners or their staff. The icing on the donut is they remember what you order now that shows how much they care about their customers. To top off how much I like this place, I had custom ordered donuts for my brother and sister-in-laws baby shower sweets table. What was the theme? Everyone loved it, thought it was such a great idea and the kids, well the lil fingers were a little too fast before I could say wait until it's all set up. It was a success! And did I mention that Mandy was as excited as I was to have unicorn donuts, it definitely showed in the donuts that I picked up. Tried the new neighborhood donut shop this morning! I'm pregnant and was craving something tasty and this place definitely fulfilled those cravings! I got donuts for the guys at work and this supper yummy spinach croissant for me! It's sooo good! Customer service is great! I locked my keys in the car (pregnancy brain) and the owner allowed me to use his phone to call my husband (my phone was in the car too LOL). They make amazing yeast donuts here. My wife is a fan of cake donuts a la Sidecar, but I am a yeast donut guy, so this was my jam. Their maple bacon donut is really delicious. We also got a bacon croissant sandwich and a bacon breakfast burrito. Both were very delicious and they were cooked to order. You can tell that they use real eggs here because of how they fried them. It wasn't just that pale yellow scrambled mystery egg that comes in a lot of breakfasts. They also give you the option of adding korean styled pickled jalapenos - slightly sweet and sour instead of the Mexican style where they are salty and sour to the sandwich. They give a side of salsa and a side of the jalapenos when you order the burrito. We sat here for about 30 minutes to eat our breakfast around 930am on a Wednesday and there were about 4 different patrons who came in and the owners seemed to know each of them by name so that's awesome. Really good donuts, the traditional donuts really stood out. I tried the white pistachio specialty donut, and I wasn't crazy about it. It just felt like a white chocolate donut with pistachio topping. I wish there was more pistachio, and then a drizzle of white chocolate as a topping. The traditional donuts (glazed) was AMAZING and my favorite so far. The quality is much better than your average donut. I def would get these again. The coffee was good too. From the outside, donut hub looks like any other donuts shop, but once you get in it is anything but. Their basic donuts are delicious, but they also have some of the most tasty and inventive flavors. Some of my personal favorites are the hibiscus or matcha donuts. I'm super surprised they have so many 5 star reviews. I went back to try a second time because I genuinely wanted to understand the hype and thought I came on an off day last time. I got a half dozen to try different flavors and felt like I wasted my money. I agree that service is good but, in my honest opinion, the donuts are not. Ok, first thing's first. I haven't wrote a review on Yelp in a long time. But, doesn't mean I haven't been using it. I've just been on IG a little bit more trying to build up a snack page (check it out at @thesweetspot_sv). Now, what better way to get back into the swing of things? That's right, review an awesome donut shop! On a spur of the moment trip to San Diego, I made a pit stop and stayed in Anaheim. Rather than go to my usual spot for breakfast at Portos, I decided to look for something new to try. I found Donut Hub on Yelp and with 5 stars. I looked at what they had to offer and decided to give it a shot. It was only a few minutes off the "The 5" anyway, so it wasn't that far. I got to the shop and walked in. It was clean, well lit, and the donuts looked fantastic! They had 2 different display cases. One for "regular donuts" and one for the fancier ones. I can get chocolate old-fashioned donuts anywhere, so I went with a few of the unique flavors. Before coming, I knew I had to try the Orange Creamsicle and White Chocolate Oreo. I got those 2 and also some to take some to my friends in SD. On the drive, I dug into the Orange Creamsicle. Holy crap, I almost had to pull over to the side of the road and finish it. It was so good, I wanted to really enjoy it. The topping crackles slightly, so it is sort of like eating a creamsicle. It is a cream cheese filling, so make sure to eat it right away (or within 2 hours, which is what I asked them). Now, to be honest, I was good to go with just that donut. However, I wasn't sure if the White Chocolate Oreo donut needed to be refrigerated either, so I "had to" eat it (I later found out that it's a non-dairy filling, so no need to be refrigerated). This one was just as good. The filling is not overly sweet, which it not very common, and is what I love. My friends loved the box that I gave them and I loved it so much, I came back again the next day....... and again. Basically, I had my wife and kids try it and then they loved it so much, they wanted me to get more for the road trip back home. And, who am I to complain to be able to get more of these goodies?!
