So I requested quotes via Yelp since it appeared that I locked my keys in the trunk of my 1962 Chevy Nova. Don's Lock & Key responded right away, and sent me a reasonable quote and was able to accommodate my schedule. Older cars can be easy or a real pain. The two gentlemen first checked to see if they could make a key from my glove box to see if that would open the trunk. Come to find out most of the locks were newer, so they then tried doing it with the driver's door lock. They were able to make a key that worked to open my trunk, and doors. Unfortunately my keys were not in the trunk, lol! Still have no idea where they are, but at least I have a key now. Oh wow! I'm so grateful for the lovely service! My Honda Element ignition would not turn and my car was stuck. The dead bolt broke in my apartment this morning. My landlord called Don's and got a very quick response. Justin was awesome!! Very polite, professional and friendly. Instead of just replacing the whole deadbolt he told my landlord he could fix the one that broke. She really appreciated that. AND in the midst of him fixing the lock I returned home from the grocery store and he carried my bags up the stairs for me. I am impressed with Dons Lock & Key. I spoke with knowledgeable and professional staff on the phone about rekeying my new house, adding a deadbolt, and evaluating my driveway gate for a lock. They said they'd be out in 90 minutes or less! They called a little while later to ask if they could come a bit later because some emergency calls had come in.
