I highly recommend Heloh Locksmiths shop! Mike helped me out and took care of me. My key wouldn't turn in the ignition on my 2013 VW Jetta. Mike came out same day and fixed my car and gave me a great price. 10/10 highly recommend! read more

I would not recommend this business. I paid the owner for a replacement car key and they never provided me the key. We agreed to meet at their shop to obtain the key at a designated time, and they instead left the shop to go eat. They are unprofessional and they will take your money. I asked them for a refund, and they never gave me my money back. This business owner is a SCAMMER and they cannot be trusted. To avoid the headache, you should take your business elsewhere. read more

From the 1st phone call to our funished product, Armando was friendly, professional & a perfectionist. He really knows his business! There isn't any reason to look further when needing a locksmith. read more

Needed a key made for 2010 Benz. I got several quotes from other locksmith Heloh was the best price. It took a bit to get it programmed but MIke was determined to get the job done despite issues with network. He was very thoughtful of my time and offered to come to my residence the next day after work when I could not wait for system to come back up at the shop. I appreciate his friendly customer service and Danny the shop keeper was super cool as well! Thanks so much! read more

this is my second time using him. The first time was when I was in college about 8 to 10 years ago and it was excellent then. I needed a new key fob and key for my jeep grand Cherokee. They came out right away and answered on the first call! Took them about 30 minutes to complete the job and make sure everything was clean and tidy put together and double checked with me and showed me all the functions. Would recommend! read more

As a queer woman, I am concerned with how this business owner attends to his women, lgbtqia2s+ identifying customers based on the interactions i witnessed/heard. I saw him yell at a friend and belittle them as they engaged with him. This individual refused to acknowledge that he had their key in his possession and would notgive it back by the end of process (took weeks)...the back and forth i witnessed and heard was grossly unprofessional. Many of the poor ratings are relative or speak to some of the nature i saw/encountered. Also noting a post was shared on this incident and have concerns that the owner is paying to remove bad ratings to continue to secure jobs with an attitude -_- which is very troubling. Please be aware of these details as you consider your next locksmith in LB. read more

Mike answered my call at midnight, came 45 minutes later promptly, opened and rekeyed my car in 5 minutes, followed me to my house and replaced my smart locks and arranged to finish the rest of the work in the morning. He gave me a great deal and I am really thankful for his work. read more

I have mommy brain and have locked my keys in my car TWICE (not fun, do not recommend) but this location has exceeded my expectations. I went with a different location last time and will never do that again. Armando, the man who helped me today at Heloh Locksmith answered right away, took less than 15 min to arrive (the last one took an hour) and charged about 1/4 of what the other location charged! Not only that but he hooked it up with an extra key just in case this ever happens to me again When I got home though, the key felt jammed in the ignition but because my baby was fuzzy by then I could no longer go back and get it looked over. I gave Armando a call and he happily came by to take a look at it an explained how to take it out. It was easy after that! The fact that he came out of his way to help me without charging again is almost unheard of! I recommend Heloh Locksmith to anyone who needs an extra set of keys, or an extra set of hands lol I appreciate the service and look forward to bringing him more customers :) read more

This company does good work but I've been waiting since February for the keys to my electronic gate lock. I have a a string of texts since the repair was completed. Every now and again I would reach someone to ask about the keys, and was told many things about when I would see them. Today I called, spoke to a guy named Mike, and told him how frustrating this was, and that I want the keys so I ever have to darkned their door again. He said, "Believe me, if you leave us 20 more people will want to work with us." I said that wasn't a very nice thing to say and wanted to start arguing the point, but he cut me off, hung up on me, and just left me a message saying he's never gonna do business with me again. I'm so blown away by this - honestly I'm a good customer. In all my years of using Yelp, I had only one occassion to leave a bad review. This is #2. All I wanted was keys since February. But they see me as the bad person. read more

This guy is incompetent and abusive. After making four attempts at trying to copy a key for me, I returned the keys and asked for my money back. He was charging me $100 to make for barrel keys. He called me after I left the shop because he was not there as usual, and got very abusive on the phone with many rude comments. Avoid this business if at all possible. read more

In December 2023, I contacted Carlos Heloh Locksmith (aka Armando Torres Locksmith) for a replacement fob. I purchased two. One didn't work, while the one that does work has had five new battery since December 2023. Carlos never completed the job. He didn't put the parts back together. He left a wire hanging, and it's still hanging. He didn't return the cover back under the panel. Infact he told me to do it. I am disable and unable to get under the dashboard. He was suppose to replace the non working fob, but everytime he said, he would return he wouldn't show. He always had some problem which prevented him from returning, and never contacting me. He would just leave me hanging. He finally returned in February 2024, but he didn't have a fob, and he promise to return the following Monday, but as usual he didn't show neither called. It is now October 2024, after multiple texts, he's refusing to complete the job, and replace my fob. He said, he will not complete the work nor give me a working fob. Please review the Better Business Bureau. There are others who have similar stories. He's a nice guy, but he's a bad business man. He's unreliable, untrustworthy, he doesn't keep his word, and poor business ethics, and practices. He has a history of poor business ethics. Now he's refusing to replace my fob nor return my money. Using his services is a fifty fifty chance you may not get great service and lose money. Do yourself a favor and look for someone more reliable. read more

I got mad respect for the hustle of this locksmith -- Heloh went above and beyond to reset my Toyota Camry key fob after one was stolen. I was able to get a new key cut at a sweet price along with programming for a new fob. Gracias, compa, por tu excelente trabajo y honestidad. I even made it on time to my class at CSUDH! I used my key until it finally gave out and couldn't turn on nor move my car anymore. Got referred to this locksmith by my father. I have 0 complaints what so ever. They were very professional and straight to the point. If anything I made them wait but they regardless were able to do the job without me being present. Very thankful and definitely recommend and wish their business nothing but success :) read more

This owner is a scammer and hack. I reside in a building that you Sir have a contract with. My building's front door lock broke in the evening on the 20th of February. You were contacted the next day by the property manager. You said you were coming. You were a no show for that day. You were contacted again the next day by the property manager. Again. You said you were coming. Another no show. Monday. You were again contacted. Said again you would be there to fix the lock. Today is Tuesday. It's almost been four days. Again. Said you were coming today at 5pm. It's now 730pm. This is without a doubt the worst case of customer service I have ever seen. Your word is your bond. Without that, your work means nothing. It's absolutely shameful for you to conduct business this way. You charge $1000 every time you come out, per your contract with this property management company. You are not fulfilling your obligations whatsoever and that should be embarrassing for you. To tell someone you are coming and then have the gall to not even show up and give no reason why. The way you do business is disgusting and unacceptable. read more

Great experience with Heloh locksmith! I called Armando regarding my car switch that wouldn't let my car key go in all the way it would get stuck. He came to me in about 30 minutes and checked it out to see if the key was the problem but it wasn't. So he said the problem would be the mechanism inside the ignition. He took it out and took it to his shop to put it new within about 1.5hrs he had it back in time before I needed to run an errand and as soon as I tried it my key didn't get stuck anymore! I'm so thankful he was able to help me! He'll be my go to locksmith who is reliable and good prices that he offers! Thank you again! read more

Zero stars! Left me stranded in a parking lot. My car was driving fine until Heloh Destroyed my car locking system and key fob. THE WORST SERVICE I'VE EVER HAD. I came to get two standard keys and a fob replaced. I paid $100 for all 3. As soon as I got home, none of them worked. I called the store and the owner said his employee didn't know how to do it, so he'd do it the right way. I return to the store, and the owner does it himself. He made me the two standard keys and told me to come back for the fob later today. Again, when I get home, the 2 keys still DO NOT work. So not only did the employee mess up, but so did the owner. I sent video proof to the owner and called multiple times, but he won't answer his phone. He said he'd reimburse me via Zelle, but that was 5 hours ago. Do yourself a favor and go to Home Depot or Ace Hardware. I got two full sets of keys for less than what I paid with them. read more

Best locksmith you could call. Very knowledgeable, affordable and prompt. I was wanting to get a fob programmed for my 98 F150 because my door locks have trouble opening in the cold mornings, and I wanted to avoid damaging my key. Quick and easy place to get a key made. Staff is helpful and friendly. Got a couple of house key copies made in just a few minutes.

Crummy service, owner is a weirdo, they'll have you playing phone tag between the "brothers" lol. There's plenty of locksmiths that won't promise & charge you for an OEM key, show up with an after market key and put it on you when their unorganized schedule doesn't align with yours so they can exchange it as agreed upon.
