As a queer woman, I am concerned with how this business owner attends to his women, lgbtqia2s+ identifying customers based on the interactions i witnessed/heard. I saw him yell at a friend and belittle them as they engaged with him. This individual refused to acknowledge that he had their key in his possession and would notgive it back by the end of process (took weeks)...the back and forth i witnessed and heard was grossly unprofessional. Many of the poor ratings are relative or speak to some of the nature i saw/encountered. Also noting a post was shared on this incident and have concerns that the owner is paying to remove bad ratings to continue to secure jobs with an attitude -_- which is very troubling. I have mommy brain and have locked my keys in my car TWICE (not fun, do not recommend) but this location has exceeded my expectations. I went with a different location last time and will never do that again. Armando, the man who helped me today at Heloh Locksmith answered right away, took less than 15 min to arrive (the last one took an hour) and charged about 1/4 of what the other location charged! Not only that but he hooked it up with an extra key just in case this ever happens to me again When I got home though, the key felt jammed in the ignition but because my baby was fuzzy by then I could no longer go back and get it looked over. I gave Armando a call and he happily came by to take a look at it an explained how to take it out. It was easy after that! The fact that he came out of his way to help me without charging again is almost unheard of! I recommend Heloh Locksmith to anyone who needs an extra set of keys, or an extra set of hands lol I appreciate the service and look forward to bringing him more customers :) read more

This guy is incompetent and abusive. After making four attempts at trying to copy a key for me, I returned the keys and asked for my money back. He was charging me $100 to make for barrel keys. He called me after I left the shop because he was not there as usual, and got very abusive on the phone with many rude comments. Avoid this business if at all possible. read more

This owner is a scammer and hack. I reside in a building that you Sir have a contract with. My building's front door lock broke in the evening on the 20th of February. You were contacted the next day by the property manager. You said you were coming. You were a no show for that day. You were contacted again the next day by the property manager. Again. You said you were coming. Another no show. Monday. You were again contacted. Said again you would be there to fix the lock. Today is Tuesday. It's almost been four days. Again. Said you were coming today at 5pm. It's now 730pm. This is without a doubt the worst case of customer service I have ever seen. Your word is your bond. Without that, your work means nothing. It's absolutely shameful for you to conduct business this way. You charge $1000 every time you come out, per your contract with this property management company. You are not fulfilling your obligations whatsoever and that should be embarrassing for you. To tell someone you are coming and then have the gall to not even show up and give no reason why. In December 2023, I contacted Carlos Heloh Locksmith (aka Armando Torres Locksmith) for a replacement fob. I purchased two. One didn't work, while the one that does work has had five new battery since December 2023. Carlos never completed the job. He didn't put the parts back together. He left a wire hanging, and it's still hanging. He didn't return the cover back under the panel. Infact he told me to do it. I am disable and unable to get under the dashboard. He was suppose to replace the non working fob, but everytime he said, he would return he wouldn't show. He always had some problem which prevented him from returning, and never contacting me. He would just leave me hanging. He finally returned in February 2024, but he didn't have a fob, and he promise to return the following Monday, but as usual he didn't show neither called. It is now October 2024, after multiple texts, he's refusing to complete the job, and replace my fob. He said, he will not complete the work nor give me a working fob. Please review the Better Business Bureau. There are others who have similar stories. He's a nice guy, but he's a bad business man. He's unreliable, untrustworthy, he doesn't keep his word, and poor business ethics, and practices. He has a history of poor business ethics. Now he's refusing to replace my fob nor return my money. Using his services is a fifty fifty chance you may not get great service and lose money. Do yourself a favor and look for someone more reliable. read more

Great experience with Heloh locksmith! I called Armando regarding my car switch that wouldn't let my car key go in all the way it would get stuck. He came to me in about 30 minutes and checked it out to see if the key was the problem but it wasn't. So he said the problem would be the mechanism inside the ignition. He took it out and took it to his shop to put it new within about 1.5hrs he had it back in time before I needed to run an errand and as soon as I tried it my key didn't get stuck anymore! THE WORST SERVICE I'VE EVER HAD. I came to get two standard keys and a fob replaced. I paid $100 for all 3. As soon as I got home, none of them worked. I called the store and the owner said his employee didn't know how to do it, so he'd do it the right way. I return to the store, and the owner does it himself. He made me the two standard keys and told me to come back for the fob later today. Again, when I get home, the 2 keys still DO NOT work. So not only did the employee mess up, but so did the owner. I sent video proof to the owner and called multiple times, but he won't answer his phone. He said he'd reimburse me via Zelle, but that was 5 hours ago. Do yourself a favor and go to Home Depot or Ace Hardware. I got two full sets of keys for less than what I paid with them. read more

Zero stars! Left me stranded in a parking lot. My car was driving fine until Heloh Destroyed my car locking system and key fob. Because he triggered the main kill switch, car no longer drives and had to get it towed to dealership. Armando refused to help with damages he caused nor towing. Very unprofessional. I'm a registered nurse with lupus. Now, I can not work and had to cancel/reschedule all my doctor appointments due to no means of transportation. I would leave zero stars if I could. I called and he said he would be there at 420pm. Obviously no call no show. I called him and he sent me straight to voicemail. Texts me and says he's on his way, 445pm eta. I call him at 5pm and he says 530pm, and then literally right after that tells me "feel free to call another locksmith." I told him I was willing to wait and he then said he wasn't coming. The whole thing was a complete waste of time and ridiculous. Why jerk me around if you were never going to come in the first place? 100% Awesome! Had this anti-theft crap come on, didn't even know I had this in the 13 years owning this car and out of know where my car wouldn't start! I had a guy out 2 times last week, couldn't fix it, he said it was Immobilizer module, I ordered it waited 1 week, got it, installed it and it still wouldn't start, I called the original guy back, he did not call me back. I decided to call a tow truck and have it towed to a local auto shop who likely would of fixed it but, ironically, the tow truck driver asked what was wrong with my car, I explained it to him, he said he knew a guy, I said ok, call him, he did, he gets HELOH on the phone, I explain the problem & the guy was here in less than 30 minutes and had my car started in less than a minute, it seemed like it anyway, it most certainly was less than 5 minutes, I was like shocked, thinking what the hell just happened, lol..
