I've had this same exact service in the past with only one difference this time I already had the cut key to the door and the ignition so all he had to do was copy it instead of having to make one, I also received a standard remote to lock/unlock doors the previous time. Today for $180 I was given a standard key with no alarm controls, and thats that! I paid MORE this time then the last time and the last time I did not have they door/iginition key already made, so he had to cut that himself as well, and I got my normal key with lock./unlock etc buttons. (and I did not have to ask then what type of key I'd like) We had a miscomuinication with the driver regarding where to zelle the money, when he said to "the number" I figured it was the one he called me from as he was the same person who helped in the past, I forgot I had his number programmed. He gave me the owners name, and said again , to the number,. The money was sent, and it went to that number as it was registered to Zelle. Well according to him this was not the number it was to go to, gave me a different one demanding I sent it do that one. I show him the confirmation, he does not care. At this point I need my car key what am I do to. . So I paid $180 x 2 it seems, it went to the phone he was calling from, and 2 I was never asked whart type of key I wanted, why would he not do the same thing he did last time, I did not have to ask then???? By far the most affordable key fob replacement I've paid for. I called a dozen of different locksmith for quote and everyone was quoting me double and a service fee to come out to me ! These guy came to me in less than 15 min opened my car and we realized my car key fob was inside since the key fob didn't work it automatically locked me out. These guys duplicated my key fob in minutes. Strongly strongly recommend for auto key fobs or lock outs !! Very affordable price given over the phone was price I paid in person !! No service fee or travel fee ! Even though my car was a hassle ( 2011 Cadillac CTS coup ) no key entry only remote. This place is a scam. I called to have a broken U-lock cut so I could get my bike. They show up and quote me $250!!! I tell the technician that price is absurd then they haggle with me and drop it to $150!! So they high-ball me and insult my intelligence then they demand the service fee from me, AFTER telling me I could have sent a photo to them first to get a quote which would have avoided the service call altogether. Terrible experience. I called another locksmith and they only charged me $45 for this service, this place is a total scam! read more

I own a 2007 Nissan Sentra and lost my only set of keys. I called this place and they were able to get to me within 15 minutes. However, they could only provide me with a key and not a remote for my alarm. While the locksmith was making the key I called other local locksmiths to see if anyone could make me a remote for my alarm. I spoke with Armando and Mike at Heloh Locksmith and they said they could program a remote for my alarm. When the locksmith finished making the key for my car it wouldn't start, and he couldn't figure out why. Thankfully the other locksmith with the remote arrived and he was able to get the car started and provide me with a remote for my alarm. If you own a newer car that has a key with a chip and a remote for your alarm I don't recommend this place for the simple fact that the locksmith wasn't able to get the car started. If it hadn't been for the other local locksmith who knows how long it would have taken to get the car started. read more

My experience here was horrible. I came to have a new lock changed to match my key. The guy ripped open the box, took it apart, fiddled around for a few minutes, and told me that he didn't have the right tool, that I should drive down the street to Ace Hardware to have it changed. So I went to Ace and the helpful employee changed the lock no problem. While trying to put it back together he realized that the lock was missing a crucial piece. So I had to drive back to this place and ask the guy where the piece was. He spent five minutes looking around and said he couldn't find it. He told me to check back the next day. Joseph is the farthest thing from a "Christian man," as I've seen him described in other reviews. He promised to assist in a landlord lock-out where I verified with him at least three times over if he were coming and he agreed to over the phone. The landlord illegally locked me off the property, as verified by local police. I had even offered for a police presence if that made him more comfortable and he confirmed he was coming. He left me locked out in the cold for hours thinking he was coming. He refused to answer his phone after the initial call. This man is a coward and a cop-out. I live in a historic complex and have a vintage Yale lock. I called a few places locally and A-Calimex offered the best prices and seemed nice on the phone. To save substantially, I was informed that I could even remove my lock and bring it to them. How flexible, huh? The other locksmiths were more profit-driven on the phone. Ya know how that goes. Well after awhile, I finally scheduled for the locksmith, Joseph, to come over and he arrived with his toolbox o' tricks! He was able to repair my vintage lock in a short period of time and now my lock opens/closes easy-breezy! Joseph was also friendly and professional! I had some car issues with my ignition switch and they said they could fix it. They did actually fix it but their quick fix lasted only 2 months. I later took it to another locksmith and they did thorough check and noticed their shotty work. Learned my very expensive lesson and I'll never again come here. So I had another "LOCK ISSUE" !! LOL! I had to call A-Calimex again to open my car trunk before I donated it! It had been a great old car but it was time to let it go. It needed some repairs and I just didn't want to keep worrying about two cars. The trunk lock was stuck and I knew there wasn't anything too valuable in there, but just wanted to be careful to remove all my personal stuff! My guy was over in 10 minutes!! FAST!! He was able to get the trunk open and only charged me $65.00!! NOW! This is the crazy part !!! Since I was out there for a few minutes -I guy who was working on the cement near by started talking to me and decided her wanted to give me a 900.00 cash for my car!! Today is my third time using these guys. The first time, I misplaced my only key for an older Buick. He drove out and remade a key for the doors and replaced the ignition key for a great price. Second time, my '99 Infiniti I30 somehow lost all the key programming when I tried jump starting it. He drove out and reprogrammed the key for MUCH less than what a dealer was charging. I would have also have to tow the car there. Third time was to program 1 key and cut tow for my 2006 Dodge Magnum. Since I only had one working key, I couldn't program a second unless I brought it to the dealer. He cut my keys and programmed the new key for an awesome price. read more

I may not have used his service yet! Regrettably I should have. I called getting a quote cuz I locked my keys inside my car. He was reasonable but I wanted to check else where, Big mistake there. I decided to go with another locksmith who initially gave me a lower quote but then tried to charge me $120 when they got to me. Those guys made me call this locksmith put him on speaker so they can hear that their competitor charges $50 flat rate and not $120. This guy saved me from getting ripped off unknowingly. I called based on the yelp reviews. I talked to Joseph who clearly gave me a price based on what I needed and explained that he could work around my schedule. He came out the same day and called me before he showed up to give me his estimated time he'd be arriving. I needed my home re-keyed to all be the same key for all the doors. There was a $35 flat service fee and each bolt that he worked on and re-keyed was $15. I almost spent $450 at home depot to re-do all my locks and these guys did it for half that saving me cash. Wow, I was really impressed! I live right near this locksmith but it never thought to go in before. The copy of my car key doesn't open the trunk, so I finally stopped in to see if they were able to make another copy that does, and it took them all of about three minutes, only cost me three dollars, and it opens the doors and trunk just like I wanted.
