They were amazing! So communicative and I appreciate how they were very empathetic, considerate, and again, communicative. They installed deadbolts and rekeyed existing locks so that it was all the same key. I had a door that wouldn't really close properly and that was fixed without having to ask about it. I wonder if to them, that was a simple job, but to me, it provided peace of mind, which to me is priceless. It's rare to come across a business with people like this... And when you do you rave about them, and use them again and again... Whenever you need them. I only write reviews when I think that a business is worthy ever repeat business. This is an exceptional business, with an exceptional team! My senior mother lost her keys, and so she was locked out of the front door of her house. She has health issues, and at the time that she was locked out of her house... She was in a great deal of pain. She needed to get back into her house as soon as possible. I contacted as many locksmith's on yelp... And Google... As possible, seeking quotes and asking when they could come out for immediate service. Of the replies that I got, I got some high quotes $$ to come out for service... And was told that it would take a minimum of 2 to 3 hours to get to the house. Please note: this was the earliest that someone could get to the house to help my mom... At least until Ashley from Lock Star Smithy contacted me. Ashley texted me within 10 minutes of me sending out my request for quotes on yelp, if not sooner. Her quoted price for service was nearly 40% less than her competitors! And the best and most important part... She said that she was insured, and that her technician could get to my mom's house within a half hour! (This was no mistake/accident. And he didn't want to do this, and cost us more money. so he entered through the garage doors. (note: he opted to save the homeowner money, even though it would've meant more money in his own pocket.) Jay, then kindly re-all of the doors to the same key at no additional cost. J asked my mom/her reminded her that her mailbox key might've been on the same key ring as her front door key. So we opted to have Jay also change our mailbox lock/key for a VERY REASONABLE Price. As Jay left the house, and said goodbye to my mom, he noticed that his crew was missing from the doorhandle on one of the door locks. He went to his truck and found the appropriate screws to fix this on his own time, just because he has integrity of his trade!... And because the man is a good person.
