Great place! Big portions, kind prices. Gluten free, dairy free options. Very nice employees.

This little gym does not disappoint what a great find.. the menu is vast, however I believe only because they are just so good at bringing their culture alive ... Milanesa ona plate with rice, beans, and home made flour tortillas, and their tortas are amazing.. this was a first visit but I couldn't help but notice plate after plate coming out.. the next better than the one before ... The atmosphere is As well authentic and lively to match the food perfectly... if you're looking for some thing special... You will find it in Doña Lencha ...

I think the business can do better. I came to order around 30 tacos, i added some more when i was inside. Normally we order monthly. First, we try to pay over the phone. They don't take it, because they want to come in and pay. I feel like they make it so hard for customers to pay. Not sure if the manager know. Then after that hurdle, i was getting more tacos because we miss counted for the people in our party - so we added more. & i ask to get extra sauce. They charge 1.5 dollars, this is another bad business decision. People eat inside often waste tons of sauce but don't get charge extra. To go people who do big order monthly, get charge. But that ok. I was a little shock, but business had to run so i understand. So i like to pay. But now they don't take credit card that less than certain amount. I feel like i am in a situation was i am ready to buy & pay & the sale person talk me out of buying .

Did you forget to eat tacos on a Tuesday? Come on Wednesdays and eat dollar tacos! My favorite ones are the automatic chicken, lenga, carnitas and al pastor! Great atmosphere and amazing salsa bar. I love the habanero salsa! It's definitely hot! They have specials every day and their specials are displayed on the menu and on the banners throughout the restaurant. If you come in on a Wednesday at lunch be prepared to wait. Service can be slow at times during peak hours. Plenty of parking too! Also there is a 2nd location off Beltline!

Food/Taste: 5.0 Customer Service: 3.0 Location: 2.5 Pricing: 4.5 Cleanness: 3.0 WiFi: No The food was great. The "Torta El Niño Pobre" is huge and had a great taste! Make sure you don't take off the tin foil otherwise it will fall apart! The chips and salsa are extremely good but not free like most Mexican places. The customer service was extremely slow. You sit yourself and our waitress attended us quickly and food was out fast. However, I was never offered a refill until I have 3/4 done with my meal. The location itself is easy to find. However, the AC does not work. It was extremely hot (85 degrees F). The place was decently clean but not clean clean.

I wish this place was closer to us but then again, if it were, Id likely gain weight because I would go there way to often, this place is delicious. Its authentic Mexican food and the staff is incredibly kind. I have brought my young kids here many times and the waitress (we have had the same one most visits) is so nice to them and tries to get their food out first when she can. The tortas are great, the meat plates good, tacos awesome, I have never ordered something I didn't love.

The menu leans Mexican fusion, with standout seafood and steak options across the board. One of my personal favorites is their sea bass special with pineapple reduction. It's beautifully balanced sweet, savory, and rich without being heavy and comes with perfectly cooked charred vegetables on the side. The drinks are excellent, especially the margaritas, which definitely lean on the stronger side, fair warning that one drink can feel like two. Save room for dessert too; they offer a solid selection of cakes and sweets that are a great way to close out the meal. Service is attentive and warm, and they also have private group dining rooms available, making it a great option for corporate events or holiday parties. Valet parking is available, but there's also plenty of convenient parking right next to the restaurant. Overall, Via Real is a reliable, elevated dining experience that still feels welcoming and rooted in tradition, a Las Colinas classic for a reason.

My Overall Rating - 5 Stars (Atmosphere, Service, Food, Return) Atmosphere - Via Real has a dedicated parking lot and valet parking - this is a sign of an upscale restaurant. Inside, it's a beautiful restaurant (currently decorated for Christmas). There's a dedicated bar in the back, the tables are perfectly set, and the vibe exudes an upscale feel. 1 Star. Service - Upon entering, you're greeted with a smiling hostess to assist. Since I was here for an event, they walked me to the appropriate room. Via Real has dedicated rooms for events, and we had a dedicated staff member who made sure we had drinks in hand. All requests were taken care of. They were fast, accommodating, and professional. 1 Star. Food - Via Real specializes in Southwestern cuisine. It's not Mexican or Tex-Mex, but if you're fans of that cuisine, you'll find familiar flavors. My events had several items, but my favorite were the individual nachos. Instead of a shared platter, a single (large) tortilla chip is topped with chicken or beef and oven-melted cheese. It felt more like bite-sized appetizers than traditional nachos. At the bar, I enjoyed a decaf cappuccino and creamy caramel flan. You can eat at the bar, but there are also tables you can sit at. 2 Stars. Will I Return? - Yes. Via Real is in my neighborhood and has been in Irving-Las Colinas as long as I can remember (mid 90's). If you are ever in the area, make sure you stop by. 1 Star.

Braised Beef Birria $23.00 Tender braised beef infused with flavorful ingredients, topped with cilantro, and onions. Served with our handmade tortillas for a satisfying meal! But I think the "chef" forgot the "infused with flavorful ingredients" cause it has ZERO flavor and the tortillas are NOT handmade... I'm Mexican so I know homemade/handmade tortillas! I also ordered guacamole, also ZERO flavor! And charro beans, also ZERO flavor! All the food is overpriced. I wish the owners would read these reviews and fix these issues immediately cause I've read multiple ones similar to mine as far back as a year ago. This place could be great if they fix the "chef" issue! The waiters need to improve their service too. This is a beautiful restaurant, ambiance, etc but you better fix these problems ASAP if you want to improve, unless you're too proud to make any changes.

The poblano sauce is so good, I'd like to get a job in the kitchen for the recipe. We also asked for a side of the mole sauce just to try, it was smoky, sweet, and the right amount of spices. The tacos remind me of the tacos I get in Mexico with the grilled pineapple and picked onions. The salsa offered with the chips is warm and I love that. Will definitely be a go to restaurant for me. Lunch specials- I don't even know if this is on their website but they have a great lunch menu and they have a lunch combo special where you can pick two items for $10.50 and it comes with rice and beans. I ordered the cheese enchilada and the mini chimichanga. Full disclosure I didn't eat the mini chimichanga because I didn't know it was covered in queso and I hate queso (unpopular opinion- I know). I loved the enchilada though and it had chili con carne sauce which was delicious. Rice and beans were also very good. Next time I'll just say no queso on the chimi. The restaurant is really tiny but cozy and you can tell it is family owned. Definitely will be a regular spot for me and will be back.
