This Mexican restaurant was pretty good. I had the shrimp Al Pastor it was served inside of a pineapple. My wife had a the shrimp fajita and she said it was good. We also had the guacamole which was awesome. The chips and salsa were very good too. She also had a Michelada which was very tasty. Great service. The meal was really disappointing. It is close to the house and my dad always orders from here but it has gone down in quality. I tried a bunch of dishes. I ordered the molcajete, tacos de asada, pollo, al pastor, and queso fundido, but most of it fell flat in terms of flavor. The chicken was so bland I couldn't finish it, and the shrimp in the molcajete lacked seasoning what little they did add didn't taste quite right. The queso fundido didn't have that rich, cheesy flavor I was hoping for; it almost tasted like beans instead. The only good thing was the tacos de carne asada. It was tender and juicy packed with flavor. If I ever returned, it'd be just for that but I don't think I'll be coming back here to be honest. read more

If you are gluten free STAY AWAY! This was our first and last visit. To start off, the chips they brought when we arrived were stale. We asked our waitress for a fresh batch. She brought us another batch which she claimed were fresh. They were not warm, and just as stale! When we told the waitress that my husband was gluten-free, she looked at us with a lost look. Obviously she had no idea what gluten is. We should have known that that was not a good sign. Upon asking her if the chicken in the nachos was gluten free, she went to get another waiter that might be able to help. After checking in the back, he told us that the only thing on the menu that was gluten free was the churrasco. Apparently, the chef comes in the morning and seasons all the chicken, carne asada, and carnitas (not the churrasco) with seasoning that includes gluten. We asked if they could grill a simple chicken breast... Sorry all the chicken for the day was prepped in the morning and any other chicken breast would be frozen. We asked, are there any other options and were told NO! At that point, we asked for the check (we had ordered a sprite and a margarita) and to speak to a manager. When the waitress came back with the bill, my husband expressed his displeasure with being charged $20 for a drink (the margarita) which I only took a sip of. She still charged us. The manager came and we shared what had happened and that we were very disappointed. Being gluten free, Mexican food is usually our "safe" place... NOT HERE THOUGH! We were frank with the manager and shared that we would not be returning and were disappointed for a $20 charge for a drink we didn't consume. I will say, she did make this right, by going back and voiding the drink charge! That was the right thing to do. read more

The decor is absolutely beautiful it definitely gives you a "Mexico" vibe alongside with the music.
