La Diosa is a great spot for delicious guac, tacos, & drinks. The food is excellent although it can get a little pricey. I wish they had a bigger place in this area because they totally deserve a bigger place! The 8th street location is rather small but they will seat you right away, or you might have to wait briefly for a table to finish their meal...which is a great opportunity to check out the bar and try one of their craft cocktails. There is a big wall with a backdrop that's perfect for photos, but you must have a reservation if you'd like to sit there.

Great service, the food was amazing. The ambiance was good. The prices are a bit high for tacos but they were very good. The Horchata was really good. Was not a big fan of the esquite but over all great experience!!!

Randomly picked this spot when another was a long wait. Really nice find. Super cute inside with the flower wall and decor. The staff was friendly, and so many good options to choose from. We'll have to come back to get some other things. The birria tacos were great. The fajitas were excellent. The drinks were solid. After eyeing some dishes from other tables I know I'll be better prepared for what I want next time It's like half a block away from versaille.

Diosa is an unassuming restaurant on Calle Ocho that, I think, serves some of the best tacos in Miami. A small restaurant with about 15 tables and superb service in an attractive setting. Great decor, great music, great service and great tacos!

La Diosa is a cute little spot located in Little Havana. We were down in Miami for our girls trip and La Diosa had the perfect vibe for pics and good food!!! I started out with the Caribeña Michelada and it was perfect with the puree and modelo. We were there for happy hour so I ordered the guacamole and nachos from the happy hour menu and both were fantastic!! The chips are fried fresh in the restaurant and you can definitely tell the difference. The toppings on the nachos were not your usual but they added the flavors needed to make this dish top notch! They also serve you 3 of their house made salsas ranging from the hottest to mildest, and the flavors are amazing! La Diosa will see me again!

After picking up a friend at Miami airport, we looked for the best taco Tuesday option in the area on the way to her Airbnb. I'm so happy we found La Diosa Taqueria! We were warmly greeted as we entered. Once we spoke in English, our server spoke English the rest of the meal. We started with drinks, tamarind margaritas. They were amazing! You could taste every ingredient and they came together perfectly! Our appetizer was homemade guacamole with homemade chips and salsas. I took half home and the chips were still crispy the next day! The guacamole was freshly mashed and tasted great the 2nd day as well. I had the chicken and mushroom tacos, she had birria. All I can say is the next time my friend flies in to Miami again we're going back for more!

What an amazing experience! We decided to try this place out accidentally walking down the street! We were actually looking to dine at another establishment not far from this location, but a quick Yelp look made us change our mind. The vibes, staff, and food was the absolute best. We ordered the steak fajitas, tacos, quesadillas, chips and corn appetizer (super good), churros, and tres leches. We also tried their lemonade...which was super refreshing! They will provide a card that you can tap your phone on for viewing their full menu. After going through the entire menu multiple times, we settled on enough food to get us full. There was more than enough food...so much so...we were able to eat two more times from our leftovers. There were no issues ordering food and the wait time to receive our eats was not long at all. The decor was nice and our seat was directly under the super pink rose wall that read "La Diosa". It was the perfect seat to watch the bartender create fancy drinks for other customers. Note: During our visit (roughly 8:30PM), there was only one bartender, one staffer for taking orders, and one staffer to assist in delivering food to tables. Although lean in staff, we did not experience longer than expected wait times! If you are in the area and looking for good food and great vibes, give La Diosa Taqueria a chance!

The best lunch spot for quality and authentic Mexican. The portions are generous and everything is incredible. If you come for lunch, they have a great $18 deal that includes a soup/salad, a dish and the best berry tea "Jamaican tea". They have a super cool dessert made of flan and chocolate cake called Tierra Santa. It looks like a plant and it's super cute! The service is a bit slow because it's a small place.

Took my car for repair & was looking for good place to eat lunch nearby. La Diosa caught my eye so gave it a try. Cute decor. Super friendly & attentive service. Had guac & chips which was good, smooth not chunky, nice flavor. Tacos come in 2's & can only get 2 of the same type. My friend got the Baja fish (breaded mahi) & I got the mojo shrimp. We shared so we could try one of each. Both had good flavor & liked them . Only criticism is they're made on smaller size tortillas so not huge also the fish taco came with more cabbage & stuff on top, shrimp only had a few radish shavings. All in all really enjoyed the experience & the food. Would definitely come again.

I've been trying to come here for a while now! I wasn't disappointed at all! The service was good, and very knowledgeable on the food and drink items. I went with family and we had a few different things. First they bring you chips with 3 different salsas; mild, medium, and hot and while I like spicy food I wasn't prepared for how spicy the hot one was My dad and step mom had chicken fajitas, server suggested adding another protein, they declined which was a good choice for them as it already included a pretty nice sized pile of chicken with veggies. My nephew had a carne asada burrito which he tore up so fast there was no doubt he enjoyed it! I had a chicken quesadilla thinking I'd take some to go but it was so good I found myself eating the whole thing. Now for the drinks, of course they have model negra, I had a spicy passion fruit margarita which was excellent, and my stepmom had an old fashioned. Their liquor apparently has a lower alcohol content so she found hers to be a little weak (even with an extra shot). Their liquor apparently restaurant is super cute and cozy, parking is convenient and easy to get to. I'll be back for sure!

Came for Taco Tuesday and it also happened to be happy hour so I was happy to take advantage of 2 specials! Tacos are $4 each on Tuesdays: Got the rock shrimp taco and birria taco and both were decent. Also got the Mexican nachos ($10) for happy hour and I would have to say this was my favorite. The chips were crunchy, came with the nacho cheese, all the toppings like avocado and radish, and your choice of protein. I ended up picking the Al pastor as the protein and it did not disappoint: tender and flavorful. Staff were welcoming. The environment was clean and modern, comfortable to sit in and chat with friends while eating. Free parking available in the lot where it's located. Definitely will consider coming back!

La Diosa taqueria was really good. We came here on a Sunday afternoon and had the place to ourselves. There was only one other table with 3 clients. The food was great, and the drinks are also very good. We had a variation of tacos and appetizers, and everything was delicious. The cochinita pibil tacos were very good and plentiful. Actually, all tacos are packed with meats. Very filling. Queso fundido with chorizo appetizer was very flavorful and is usually great for sharing. The best overall taco was the quinoa shrimp taco. Outstanding! Service was a little slow even though there were almost no other tables to take care of. That is why this place only gets 4 stars. The restaurant is cozy and has a nice vibe and decor. I will definitely recommend coming here and giving them a try.

When you walk in, you place your order and pay for it and take a table number. You need to find your own table. Our service was pretty quick, despite how busy the restaurant was. My cold brew was very good and a nice start to the meal. Our guacamole came next and it was nicely styled with pomegranate, cheese and cilantro on top. Yum! The real star of the show for me was this unassuming looking House Club Sandwich that was to die for. Seriously ... it was so good. I ordered mine without the ham, and it was divine! I wish i lived closer. I'm already dreaming of coming back. My son ordered some kind of short rib/beef burrito and it disappeared so quickly I didn't even get to snap a photo. This is a perfect spot to enjoy a great meal, I highly recommend it. One thing I can say is that it's on the pricey side. $113 lunch for 2 added up super fast but it was well worth it. Water is self-serve, and once you're done with your meal, you just head out. There's minimal interaction with staff, which might appeal to people who prefer a more low-key, independent dining experience or want a place to sit and work without being interrupted. That said, the service did not feel very friendly or welcoming. And personally, I left feeling a bit underwhelmed.

They had seating inside a tent, music blasting from inside the restaurant speakers, plus another speaker outside, plus a DJ on top of that. The entire place was chaotic and so loud that you could barely even have a conversation. What made it even more disappointing was that this was supposed to be a Cinco de Mayo celebration at a Mexican restaurant, yet the entire time the DJ outside was mainly playing Cuban music. It honestly did not match the atmosphere at all. I eventually even asked the DJ if he could please play some Mexican music because it was Cinco de Mayo. I'm Mexican myself, and overall I did not enjoy the food, the music, or the atmosphere. Our waitress was terrible from the start. Every time we tried to order or ask for something, she acted like we were bothering her. The service overall was just awful. By the time our food finally arrived, we honestly didn't even want it anymore. I ordered the carne asada tacos and they were disappointing. The tortillas tasted undercooked, and the carne asada was tough and cold. Then came the worst part. My friend and I split the bill and noticed that a 20% gratuity had already been included. Somehow, the waitress still added another 20% tip on top of each of our bills when she charged our cards. When we questioned it, she acted confused and like she had no idea what happened. We asked to speak to a manager, and instead of calmly helping resolve the issue, he was loud and confrontational. Another friend in our group kept asking for a copy of her receipt, and the manager actually threatened to call the cops on her while refusing to provide it. At that point, it honestly made us question whether additional charges had also been added to her bill as well. Because everything was so disorganized, it took nearly another hour just to straighten out the bill situation. In the end, the waitress had to give me the extra tip amount back in cash. I understand restaurants get busy on Cinco de Mayo, but this went beyond "busy." It was chaotic, disorganized, unprofessional, and honestly one of the worst dining experiences I've had in a long time. Very disappointed.
