Tacos de birria, over priced, under flavored. Tacos de lengua over priced over cooked, under flavored.

The Avis are overpriced under flavored! Tacs f lenguas over cooked, the Beria under flavored. The blue good thing was the very cold beer. I find the lace overpriced.

Amazing experience at Lolita's. This is NOT a fancy restaurant. The menu is up on a board and you order at the counter. I ordered 3 carne asada tacos, rice and beans. All this food for only around $14, which is not bad! Everything was delicious and authentic. Will definitely come back for sure.

was looking for an authentic Mexican restaurant for taco tuesday! Tacos were average there was hardly any meat. the pollo tacos were best the tongue tacos were too gamey. There was no place to charge your phone and it was over priced

This is a cool no-frills local taco joint located right across from Riverside park. I've walked by many times as I go to and fro the park, but I finally stopped in to try this out, and I sure am glad I did. Outside on the awning is a big sign: "Comida Mexicana" that tells you everything you need to know as to what this place is all about. The food here is perfect, and the tacos are delicious. The meats are all cooked to perfection. The pulled pork was delicious and perfectly marinated. The chorizo was savory and very spicy. The steak was excellent as well and was perfectly grilled. The wait times do tend to be a bit long, but the service is great and the food is served exceptionally fresh with the tacos still steaming. The prices are like going back into a time machine, back to a time before covid and an era of free government money printing. Who the hell still serves $2 tacos you ask? Well the answer to that question: Lolita's restaurant. I don't know who this Lolitas is, but I would hazard to guess that she is a damn fine woman. Take a break on your wallet the next time your walking down Calle Ocho and come to this little known hidden gem serving up the finest tacos to Little Havanians.

Quaint little Mexican restaurant in Little Havana. An absolute dive but amazingly authentic Mexican food. Absolutely delicious!!!

Very good. It's divey...like super divey, but that's part of the charm of this place. Not at all busy on a weeknight. We ordered seconds!

The service was just okay and the music too loud for my liking, making it perhaps not ideal for families with children. It was very busy and not necessarily spacious. However, the food is transcendent. Everything that we tried was outstanding, even the chicken nachos and quesadilla. They season and cook everything properly. The beef tacos were fresh and tasty and the quesabirria tacos were even better. Great flavor and balance. What takes this restaurant to an elite level is the mole. It is exquisite and a rare find.

When I looked 20 minutes after at my credit card statement read I had been charged $77 and change pending a potential tip on top of that, even with tip included it is still over approximately $7 what I signed off for. We called to determine the prices of each individual meal and "the manager" was stumbling to tell us the prices for everything. Even with the fake numbers that were given to us it still didn't add up correctly. I remember the prices for the 3 meals my family and I ordered and I remember what the check said. I let it be because maybe they need more than I do. As for the food, I'm born and raised on the border of Mexico and although I must say it does scream authenticity especially on appearance the meat is bland, and that "Mexican rice" is by far the worst tasting rice I've had. For a casual person that likes Mexican food you may like it, but if you know what you're tasting you will not. Also, they didn't have 4 different things on the menu available ultimately leading me to have to go with my 5th option. It is very expensive for what it is, and even more expensive when your waitress manipulates the system.

Francisco was always checking to make sure we had everything we needed, kept our table clean throughout the evening, and made us feel very well taken care of. I am gluten free so the fact that they make their own corn corn tortillas is amazing and about 90% of the menu is gluten free. I do have a nut allergy so there were a few items I couldn't have but still lots of options. The server recommend doing family style so we got a few things to share. We really enjoyed the short rib tacos and Verde chicken enchiladas. They were both outstanding. But the best part of the meal was the watermelon margaritas, holy moly so good! I highly recommend this place and its a cute little area to walk around and explore after.

The music selection is fire though and I was jamming out the whole time while waiting for my food. I complimented them on the music selection and they mentioned the owner is dominican and puerto rican which explained the great music selection. I was helped out by Adrian and his service was helpful in finding what dishes to order. I took my food to go and it was piping hot, definitely made fresh to order which I enjoyed. The nachos were what I was most eager to try as they are all the rage on social media. They lived up to the hype and that nacho cheese is absolute gold. I love that it's served in a pizza box. It just makes it iconic. It travels well and everything was still hot when I got home. The Al Pastor taco was just okay, nothing to write home about but now the steak burrito was really really good. I love that they don't have rice in their burritos and instead replace it with potatoes, which is absolutely delicious. They give two different types of salsas with your order plus limes and the green salsa is unreal. Add it to everything for a flavor boost! All in all this place is fire and if you're craving nachos, this is definitely the place you should come to get your fix!

Ever since I tried their steak Caesar salad I've been obsessed. That was my usual from there for 5 years. 2 nights ago we ordered from uptown and when we got our order I was so angry I didn't want to even eat my food. 1. Steak literally looked like wet dog food 2. They no longer do the frisée salad instead It's just plain old Romaine lettuce 3. For some reason they stopped giving their salsa now which was the highlight of my order 4. The container is so small and the egg was so hot that it melted all the Parmesan cheese and it was just a nasty glob 5. The eggs were so over boiled that they had that grey tint on the yolk and smelled horrible 6. 2 salads cost almost $50 so jokes on us Never again!!! I've literally banned uptown from our house. The audacity to charge so much for a mid salad topped with nasty dog food looking "steak"
