This place was so good! They offer mini quesadillas which are perfect, I got the Al pastor and it was delicious, I also got the barbacoa and Al pastor tacos which were a 10/10, and the birria sandwich was amazing , a little bit greasy but so worth it. They have 3 different sauces, my favorite by far was sweet and tasted like pineapples I put it on everything. I also had the loaded fries with chicken and I would honestly skip these, they're crinkle cut and taste like the ones that come frozen in a bag and the chicken was not anything to rave about. Service was okay, the place is pretty small but very nicely decorated with the walls painted. They also sell a few Mexican candies which I bought a few of to try! I will definitely be coming here again for some authentic Mexican food.

I just returned from Texas..really wanted to get that homemade tortilla flavor with well seasoned proteins..it was edible but not amazing. I will have to keep searching.

Looking for a spot for some yummy tacos and on a Tuesday is even better. They have tacos for two dollars! Yes ! Two dollars and with some yummy carne asada. The horchata was a must so i definitely was a happy camper afterwards. The service was good and ambiance was a chill low key spot. I hope more people try it out because it's a Kendall hidden gem.

We're always looking for good taco spots, and this one was a great find! We see this place when we go to the gym so we finally tried it out and holy yum! We started off with the guac and chips, and the portion was pretty big. We shared it and still didn't finish it. The guac was sooo good, it's easy to mess to guac but this place definitely didn't. I tried the al pastor and asada tacos, both for the spot. We also got a side of esquites which were also so yummy! Next time I would try the elite to see and taste how they do it and it'll give me an excuse to come back! It's a cute little taco restaurant with about 4-5 tables and a bar like area that fits about 4 more people. Definitely recommend coming here! The service and staff are so great, friendly, accommodating and are very attentive!

Yummmm the birria combo was delicious! I ordered food togo the staff was friendly and food came out quickly. Only negative is they charge customers a credit card fee. The owner needs to cover this its embarrassing to charge it to the customer. In this generation everyone pays with a card.

Carne asada tacos. Salsa picante on the side

Love their carne asada tacos with picante on the side. Portion is filling and authentic Mexican ambiance when you walk in. One of my new tacos Tuesday spots. I like that they close late at 11pm. Service was quick and friendly.

Amazing food, really good price. I ordered takeout for me and my girlfriend. Chips & Guac: excellent chips made in house and the guacamole itself had a ton of flavor Birria Combo: super flavorful and with the sauce it was next level 10/10 Tacos (Pollo, Chorizo, Barbacoa): all excellent, my gf hates chicken and loved it

Tacos de barbacoa . No cebolla. Extra cilantro.

...... Finally a place in kendall that serves authenic mexican street food . Nothing fancy (as mexican street food is simple yet very delicious) and the prices are fair. I ordered carry out and the food was ready in 5 minutes . The workers were friendly and the place was small, but comfortable. I will return and I do recommend.

Wow this may be my new favorite Mex place! Their tacos are so delicious, full of flavors and piping hot! I like how they have mini quesadilla, and also gladly do a half/half large quesadilla like many places do with pizza. Highly recommend their fresh juices, especially considering that the Jarritos are $3 and Mex Coke $4, the juices at $3.50 is a steal! Especially as it comes in a tajin-rimmed cup topped with a tamarind stick. The food alone is worth the stars, and the service warrants it even more. The girl taking the order is really nice, and she even apologized for her English. I'm been given many dirty looks for not being able to communicate in Spanish in Miami, so her gesture is really appreciated! We did apologize for our Spanish too, lol. The menu is rather small, and mostly "street food", but if you want a quick and truly great bite, I totally recommend this place.

    Al Pastor Taco
    Karol M.

An okay spot, but there are definitely better options around. The tacos al pastor and esquites were pretty good, and the service was friendly, which was a plus. But the burrito was a big letdown - it had way too much lettuce and barely any meat, which threw off the whole thing. Also, they were out of guac, which was surprising and a bit disappointing for a Mexican place. For the same price, you can find other places nearby with better quality and more consistent offerings. Not a bad experience, but I wouldn't go out of my way to come back.

Tacos and burritos did not disappoint. Service was good considering how busy they were.

Shredded chunky cheddar cheese on a Torta
    Val T.

So the food wasn't terrible but not great either. I was mostly surprised at them putting shredded cheddar cheese in a torta. I expected but this doesn't meld with the flavors if what a torta should be. The amount of actual meat was scarce, noticeably and unacceptably, in addition to lots of cartilage bites despite such little meat content. The bread was fresh and good and the red salsa on the table was nice. Service was also very quick I was in and out in less than 20 minutes. If you check this place out I suggest ordering something else.

Stopped by during lunch to check out the new spot next to Miami Dade College. When I walked in I was instantly greeted, and the girl behind the counter was attentive. Overall, I loved the vibe of the place. It felt very welcoming, and the colors just burst of energy. I ordered the following to-go: 2 Al Pastor tacos, Barbacoa Nachos and an Elote. The tacos were so good, I wish I had ordered two more. The nachos were huge and very filling! The chips had the perfect crunch. I would definitely order it again but with chicken next time. Elote was my least favorite. There was just too much mayo for my liking and it consumed the flavor the corn. Because I walked in without looking at the window, I missed the lunch special. I saw it on my way out and if I had known, I would've got a box. Next time! Overall, I'll be back and I have already recommended it to friends! Rating: 4.5

Located in a humble old strip mall is Mexican Heaven on plates! There's everything to love here! The place is FIRE!! It's smallish, but punches well over its weight in service, atmosphere, pricing specials, excitement and CUISINE! Our waiter is Gabriel (an angel) with his super fun personality full of spunky energy and a smile that lights up the room. His genuine enthusiasm for the restaurant and all its offerings and chef work shows in abundance. He shows us all the amazing Tuesday deals like $2 taco specials etc & drinks galore, giving us great advice. We opt for the three dips (corn elote, salsa, guac) and house chips to start. Comes out quick, ample portion to share and super fresh. Expert tip: pile all three in a chip, top with another chip and go crazy! The drinks also look terrific, but sadly we choose to have a dry night. Ah well, Next time! I opt for two recommended $2 tacos of carnitas and beef. Highly recommend!! Hubby gets three tacos off regular menu. Still delicious and well priced, chicken, pork & the steak is a real standout. We MUST have dessert! Gabriel recommends exactly what we also have our eye on--horchata soft serve ice cream, so we get one on a brownie! It's a perfect end to a very happy Taco Tuesday meal. We WILL be def back in regular rotation. Thanks for following me happy yelping in hawt summer 2026! ~Tami in Miami

Taco Tuesday always…read moreseemed just too cliché for me, but I was craving a fish taco and found good reviews for A-Mari-Mix. So often we went not realizing the taco Tuesday in this restaurant is a neighbourhood favorite. There was a bit of a line to get in, and the place was packed. They were great tunes playing, and people were at the tables making all kinds of happy noises. We were seated pretty quickly. Our waiter Gabriel was a phenomenal, perhaps one of the best waiters I've ever had. He showed us the taco Tuesday specials, and we instantly forgot that we've come there for fish tacos. Four kinds were only two dollars each for this weekly special but even the specialty tacos or only a small surcharge. We started with the appetizer special that was three dips and tortilla chips. This included guacamole, street corn, and salsa. All three were delicious and it was a pretty large portion. I tried chicken, roast, pork, and steak tacos. The steak was my favorite as it was expertly, marinated and really delicious and tender but one of these tacos was better than any taco that I've had anywhere else. There is a lot of culinary artistry that goes into the recipes. The expertly marinated meats were incredibly tasty and the balance of flavors made for an unexpectedly wonderful dining experience. For dessert, we had a delicious warm, brownie top with Horchata and chocolate sauce. This is all made in the house and was really outstanding. There is nothing about this experience that was not perfect. The vibe of the place just added to the enjoyment of the mail. The food was as good as I've had ever at a Mexican restaurant, including in Mexico. The service was absolutely exceptional. Love this place and will be a regular there. Highly recommended.
