Ok so this place low key is a hidden gem. Tucked away in a Kwik Stop. But I promise it's delicious authentic Mexican and the prices are crazy cheap. Three of us ate for $40. That is unheard of here in Miami. We all had the Birria tacos and an Elote. So yummy. read more

We've been coming here for a while, and the food is consistently delicious. The tacos are always fresh, flavorful, and authentic, and you can tell everything is made with care. The gentleman who is usually cooking (I believe he's the owner) is always incredibly friendly and welcoming, which is one of the reasons we keep coming back. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the recent price increase. While the food is still excellent, the value doesn't feel the same anymore. The combo costs more now ($18), but the tacos are on the smaller side, and the rice and refried beans come in very small portions. Three Tacos without combo ($15). At this price point, there are other local taco spots offering larger portions for about the same cost. We'll definitely continue supporting this local business because the food really is that good. I just hope they either reconsider the pricing or adjust the portions a bit so the value better matches the cost. read more

The ladies who take your order are the absolute sweetest and the man who cooks it all is the real deal. This place is a hidden gem! We picked up some friends from the airport and found this gem on Yelp. When we pulled up I wasn't sure I wanted to try it but we decided to give it a try and I'm glad we did!! We got a torta and tacos and they tasted very homemade!! I have picky eaters and they really enjoyed their food! The restaurant is on the very back and with very limited seats so be aware in case you want to eat there. This place is easily the best Mexican food I've had in a long time. It is a true hidden gem located right inside a convenience store, so don't expect any frills--just incredible, food. They keep things fresh by alternating daily specials, but the $6 burrito I grabbed was an absolute knockout for the price. The Al pastor and pineapple Mulitas are perfection, and the short rib platter is divine. Even though it's tucked away in a Kwik Stop, it's all about the food, not the fancy. I celebrated with the usual short ribs and Mulitas mixto with carne asada and chorizo, and I couldn't be happier. Today, I revisited for more Friday joy! This is probably the best Mexican food spot I've tried in Miami. The chef cooks up authentic regional dishes from his home town and makes all of his sauces in house. Try his spicy peanut sauce if you get the chance. All of the ingredients he uses are fresh and local. His daily specials are always on point and the fact that he's cooking with so much passion inside of a Kwik stop, makes the experience that much more genuine... Went there for the first time I ordered birria tacos and a quesadilla and for a drink I ordered an horchata the place has like 6 chairs and it's behind a Kwik stop the total was $28 wich I find it too much for the things I ordered the food was good but I've tried better. When I arrived no one was at the counter so I had to wait there for like 5 minutes before someone took my order but at least the people serving were nice the ambiance it's mid your eating at the back of the store basically but it's good if you're looking for something cheesy and quick. read more

Maybe I'm just picky but I did not like it. The chicharrones pupusa wasn't what I'm use to and was soggy like inside and there was an small hair on my pupusa. The chicharrones taco was salty. The carne asado taco was just average. I wanted to like it but didn't unfortunately but it's just my opinion. The employees are nice though. read more

We came in on a Monday and got the Monday special, which was burritos for $5. It was delicious! We finished our burritos and came back in to order more. The person who made our food made it exactly how we asked him to. Great customer service! The horchata and elotes was also very good. Someone I value and very close to me recommended this place. Her husband is Mexican and he vouched for it. Its a one man show sow you might have to wait becuase it seems he makes order by order. It was worth the wait and I already plan to come back tomorrow. Chilaquiles is one of my favorite dishes ever and this gentleman nailed it! The hot sauce was on point.
