Love coming here always, love the drinks and the people that work here Food always comes out so fast and the vibes are always on point I had to come back and make sure I posted the Happy Hour for everyone to find and their menu

After 10 years, I still love tacos and tattoos! I haven't been around for a while because of the distance, but today I decided to stop by. Everything was amazing, from the food and drinks to the music. The highlight was our amazing waiter, who went above and beyond, even making my son's year by gifting him Pokémon cards. Today definitely reminded me why I keep coming back after so many years.

Went on a Tuesday for $2 Tacos. Tacos were great for the price. Service was decent considering it was pretty full. They had a DJ so ambiance was great. Would go again.

I can't believe I've never written a review for T&T! I love this place, it's my go-to spot for dates with my girlfriends. The vibe is fun, food is delicious, and drinks are just right. We normally sit outside, and even in the middle of summer it's comfortable. There's fans and it's always a comfortable environment. Service is ALWAYS super friendly. Let's talk food, I rarely finish an entire plate but the chicken quesadilla (which is huge) heats up nicely. My friends tend to go for the tacos and I've never heard any of them complain. Mama's Queso dip is a delicious queso fundido with ground beef and it's just so darn good , plus you can now get it on the happy hour menu (it's a smaller size than pictured but just right for two). The queso frito bites are drizzled in a sweet sauce that adds a delicate flavor to enhance the cheese. The desserts have always been impressive, I know one had Nutella but can't remember the one pictured. My friend's daughter loves them all. They also recently updated the menu, so lots of yummy stuff to come back and try. All in all, there's no doubt I'll be back!

Never been here before but I saw it filled with cars in is parking lot plenty of times! Came with a few friends on a Friday after noon and it was empty which was great for us. We had ordered our drinks and some appetizers, the appetizers came fairly quick and the drinks came a little bit after. The environment was chill, they have a touchtunes machine that we used and created the vibe in the restaurant. The food was good but it took forever to come out for just being 4 people in the restaurant. I enjoyed what I got but the food does cost a bit more than I would like for what it was. It's a great place to come and eat and the restaurant has a cozy atmosphere but it wasn't for me.

We came here for happy hour after work to unwind from a stressful week. The food was pretty good but not worth the price. We went during happy hour but the prices were not happy hour prices. Our waitress was good and would check in on us often but the food and drinks took forever to come out , which is fine if the place was busy but we were literally the only ones in that place. All our foods came out at different times with the burger and the quesadillas coming out last. The restaurant has a cool vibe a lot of art on the walls

Saw the great reviews on Yelp and had to give it a try and I'm glad I did. My husband and I had lunch and the ambiance is very chill, easy going spot to just hang and talk. There is outside seating along with inside they had a few high tops, bar and an arab with a couch to sit. As soon as we walked in we were greeted, server was very attentive and helpful. We ordered for appetizer the queso frito, I had a passion fruit marg. which was ... for our meals i had the Tuesday taco which is 3 for $10 I believe. I got chicken. mushroom, and carnitas ... carnitas and mushroom delish, chicken lacked flavor in my opinion. My husband got plato pobre ( i believe was the name) and it was good as well. For dessert we got the Nutella Donut and it was also perfect and yummy. I cannot wait to go back and try some other yummy food

Very good vibe and good food. Reasonable priced drinks. The server was very polite and not overwhelming.

I've come here a few times and if Taco Tuesday is your thing, I recommend you give this place a try. I mean, good vibes, Mexican food and margaritas? Count me in. They have a pretty decent menu with options like quesadillas, burritos, nachos, salads, bowls, patacon, flautas, taquitos wings and tostones rellenos. Tons of options for dipping sauces. You can always start with appetizers like their queso frito bites and/or elote, both options are yum. Got a sweet tooth? You can try their churros or their deep fried Oreos. They also have a kids menu. Service has been good during my visits.

Tacos and Tattoos used to be a very small place in Sable Chase that was always crowded, but it was family-owned, the food was great, and the environment was always friendly and kind. Since they've moved to this bigger location, they've done nothing but grow themselves into a restaurant that has tasteless food, charges WAY too much money or overcharges you, as I will show from my pictures. They seem to have lost all those family values and now just sell food that has very little flavor. What the southerners say is, "they got a little too big for their britches." Today, after a very long time of not going there, I thought to try again as I used to love having their crunchy little hard shelled tacos. Since today is $2 taco day, what better day to go, right? As you can see, from the first image, these are being sold as their $2 tacos. I can assure you these are not even close to being actual or normal sized tacos. They're more like little chips. They got the smallest little flower tortilla they could find, put a little bit of meat on there and some toppings, and that's what they're calling their "tacos." They didn't even have any flavor to them. Then I asked for a little bit of their salsa, which I used to love getting their salsa and chips for free. The girl charged me $1.50 for this teensy little thing of salsa and didn't disclose that to me. I get the bill that I think is going to be $6.00, and when I questioned her because it was over $8.00, only then did she disclose the $1.50. She also did not provide me or my friend an itemized bill even when she took my credit card. If you're going to charge that much money for something so small, the waiter or bartender should disclose that to the customer so they have a choice as to whether they want to pay that much money for something so small. This used to be a great place to eat with really good, tasty food, and now it's just become a flavorless, overpriced mexican restaurant. Very sad. I will never spend my money there again. I wouldn't suggest you do either.

I had been to the original location a few times, but this was my first time going to the new location. This location is definitely bigger with better parking, but I feel like they could use their indoor space more efficiently. While they have a ton of tables outside, I only counted six tables inside. We decided to wait a little longer for an indoor table, because the vibe is totally inside with the awesome decor. Outside it's just tables, no vibe, plus it was hot and humid. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable of the menu. We got guacamole and chips for appetizer, and a couple of margaritas to start. My wife had the rellenos and I had a burrito with Carne Asada. The food as always was fantastic! No complaints there. I feel like they could make better use of the indoor space, maybe get rid of the sofas and then add a few more tables. Looking forward to my next visit!

Don't know but they seem super helpful if you called and asked.

Yes. I've been coming to them for years and through my vegetarian and vegan phases. I have a 7+year vegan friend who swears by them.

Parking was a bit challenging due to the limited number of spaces, but once we walked inside, the experience more than made up for it. We were warmly greeted by Carolina, who also became our server. She was incredibly patient and took her time walking us through the menu, explaining each dish and how everything is prepared. Her dedication to customer satisfaction truly stood out, and we hope management recognizes what an asset she is. Carolina proudly shared that every item on the menu is made in‑house, and it absolutely shows. My wife ordered the Quesadilla de Pollo with a side of Arroz Mexicano and couldn't stop talking about the exceptional flavors. I chose the Tostada al Pastor, a small Tortilla Soup, and a side salad. Everything was delicious, but the Tortilla Soup was the star of the meal--a perfect example of why in‑house preparation matters. Since we're not from the area, we weren't sure where to go for lunch, and we truly lucked out choosing Don Maguey--and having Carolina as our server. Thank you, Carolina. When I looked 20 minutes after at my credit card statement read I had been charged $77 and change pending a potential tip on top of that, even with tip included it is still over approximately $7 what I signed off for. We called to determine the prices of each individual meal and "the manager" was stumbling to tell us the prices for everything. Even with the fake numbers that were given to us it still didn't add up correctly. I remember the prices for the 3 meals my family and I ordered and I remember what the check said. I let it be because maybe they need more than I do. As for the food, I'm born and raised on the border of Mexico and although I must say it does scream authenticity especially on appearance the meat is bland, and that "Mexican rice" is by far the worst tasting rice I've had. For a casual person that likes Mexican food you may like it, but if you know what you're tasting you will not. Also, they didn't have 4 different things on the menu available ultimately leading me to have to go with my 5th option. It is very expensive for what it is, and even more expensive when your waitress manipulates the system.

We went here between January 27 & February 6/2026. La Potranca has five Florida locations, but this cantina does not feel like a chain. Authentic sabor Mexicano with an excellent friendly staff. Family friendly & handi-able accesible from the parking lot. This location gets full by 7pm but there is extended service & seating in the common covered courtyard. Plenty of parking in this strip mall location. Service is excellent, fast, & great choices of tacos & drinks. You can choose from 14 different meats/cuts for your tacos, including birria & al pastor. Bow to the taco! Also gringas, vampiros, & burritos. They have bowls (they're BIG) & brunch. p.s. try the churros with 3 dipping sauces. Drinks are extra special here. The clamato & beer cocktail is very unique. Served in a Tajin rimmed large mug, with lime & a tamarind wrapped straw. Excellante! Also a variety of margaritas served in whimsical glasses & their three house cervazas (beers) on draft. La Potranca pays homage to iconic singer & actor Vincente Fernandez "King of Ranchera". Check out the interesting connection with the staff or online. The staff here is excellent. Very helpful when navigating the menu. Very friendly. True professionals. Special shout out to Mauricio & Ralphael - you hombres make this place truly special. Mucho Gracias. We give La Potranca our highest recommendation. Mauricio was at the bar and we definitely missed being under his attention by not sitting there. Eliezer (the Venezuelan waiter from Mérida) took care of us in the dining room. Both are always very friendly and attentive. This time we decided to sit in the dining room because we were a group of three and had a lot to talk about. The place has 4 TVs and we were able to enjoy the France vs Spain match. We all ordered La Tropical Draft beer, a light, smooth, and very refreshing blonde. In total we had 16 beers . We shared nachos with grilled steak, which were very good (they pour the melted cheese right at the table). We also ordered tripa tacos well toasted (that's the technique) as we requested, and they came out excellent. Note: They have different promotions or offers depending on the day, not a regular happy hour variety, so it's good to be aware of that. The restaurant offers a good variety of 8 salsas: Sirloin, Chips, Guacamole, Verde, Vicente, Pastor, Chilanga, and Asada. Good atmosphere, pleasant service, and tasty food. We'll definitely keep coming back.

The hardest part about dining here was deciding what I wanted to order. I could have ordered the entire menu it looked so good! Helpful tip... check out the menu and know what you're going to order before you get in line. Otherwise you're going to be pressured to order at the front of the line. When you walk in, you place your order and pay for it and take a table number. You need to find your own table. Our service was pretty quick, despite how busy the restaurant was. My cold brew was very good and a nice start to the meal. Our guacamole came next and it was nicely styled with pomegranate, cheese and cilantro on top. Yum! The real star of the show for me was this unassuming looking House Club Sandwich that was to die for. Seriously ... it was so good. I ordered mine without the ham, and it was divine! I wish i lived closer. I'm already dreaming of coming back. My son ordered some kind of short rib/beef burrito and it disappeared so quickly I didn't even get to snap a photo. This is a perfect spot to enjoy a great meal, I highly recommend it. One thing I can say is that it's on the pricey side. $113 lunch for 2 added up super fast but it was well worth it. I've been going to Koko since it opened, and until now I've always had great experiences…read more Unfortunately, my recent visit during the Mexico World Cup match was one of the worst restaurant experiences I've had in a long time. Before going, we called the restaurant to ask if they would be showing the World Cup games, and we were told they would be showing all of them. Based on that, we expected a good viewing experience. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case. There aren't enough TVs, many of the views are obstructed, and we actually had to move to the bar just to see part of the game. Even then, the music was so loud that we couldn't hear the match at all. When we asked the manager about it, he told us that ownership's instructions were to play music instead of the game's audio. That was especially surprising considering this is a Mexican-owned restaurant and the match was a Mexico World Cup game. The biggest disappointment, however, was the service. To be fair, the restaurant was only about half full, so this wasn't a situation where the staff was overwhelmed by a packed house or unusually heavy demand. I was there with two female friends. I ordered a martini while my friends simply asked for water. The bartender reacted as if asking for water was somehow an inconvenience. We weren't even served chips and salsa until we repeatedly waved down members of the staff and specifically requested them. The bartenders consistently ignored us. My friends waited nearly 20 minutes before anyone came back so they could order their martinis. We later ordered guacamole and the Leña skirt steak. The guacamole arrived promptly, but the steak never did. When we asked another bartender to check on it, he looked in the system and told us there was no food order entered at all. This was unbelievable because the original bartender had described the dish, asked how we wanted the steak cooked, and appeared to take the order. He simply never entered it. When we complained to the manager about the missing food, he told us the kitchen was already closed but that he would "make an exception" and have the steak prepared for us. That response really upset me because this wasn't us asking for special treatment--it was the restaurant trying to correct its own mistake. I told him to simply cancel the order. He then said not to worry because he wouldn't charge us for it, as if not charging for a meal would somehow make up for the experience we had just endured. I declined the offer, but he responded by saying he would bring it anyway and that if we didn't want it, we could just leave it there. To me, that response was even more dismissive and completely missed the point. Throughout the evening, the bartenders were inattentive, dismissive, and consistently rude. Their attitude completely overshadowed what had always been one of my favorite restaurants in Coconut Grove. By halftime, we had simply had enough. Instead of continuing what should have been a fun night, we decided to leave the restaurant and go home, where we watched the rest of the Mexico match in the comfort of my home. Sadly, that turned out to be the best part of the night. I'm writing this review because I know Koko is capable of much better. My previous visits have always been enjoyable, which made this experience even more disappointing. However, if you're planning to watch a World Cup match there, I would strongly recommend choosing another venue. While they may tell you they'll be showing the game, the viewing experience is poor, the game audio is replaced with loud music, and based on our visit, the service was, without question, the worst I've experienced there since the restaurant opened. I sincerely hope management takes this feedback seriously because Koko has always been one of my favorite restaurants, and I'd like to be able to recommend it again. Unfortunately, after this experience, I simply can't.

Exantus constantly made sure our table was cleared of empty plates and glasses, and he kept the table dry by wiping away the condensation from our drinks. Given my preferences, and my stomach, the only basic options that I would get were there Al Pastor and chicken tacos, five dollars each. The menu said that they had alcohol, but apparently not on that week, supposedly for some bureaucratic issue. The tacos were served with just the tortilla and the meat, along with a basket of fixings, such as cilantro and line. No complaints of the food really, the tacos were actually well seasoned and for my taste buds made even better with the hot sauce that left a yummy after burn. Steak literally looked like wet dog food 2. They no longer do the frisée salad instead It's just plain old Romaine lettuce 3. For some reason they stopped giving their salsa now which was the highlight of my order 4. The container is so small and the egg was so hot that it melted all the Parmesan cheese and it was just a nasty glob 5. The eggs were so over boiled that they had that grey tint on the yolk and smelled horrible 6. 2 salads cost almost $50 so jokes on us Never again!!! I've literally banned uptown from our house. The audacity to charge so much for a mid salad topped with nasty dog food looking "steak"
