got carne asada tacos and fish ceviche to go, the ceviche was delicious and the tacos were pretty good (the meat was slightly overcooked). the location is slightly weird bc they're going construction on the building so u have to like park in the back and go around but it's worth it BUT the inside is super cute and the vibes are amazing i didn't love that the menu doesn't have prices on it...? read more

Absolutely love this spot. We ordered the shrimp ceviche, chicharrón with guac, elote, tacos, sopes, and a michelada, everything was so good and full of flavor. The food tasted fresh, portions were solid, and prices were are good. The place itself is beautiful and aesthetic, with a great vibe, and the service was friendly and attentive. I always pass by when I'm in the area and 100% recommend if you want great Mexican food read more

The food here is very legit. I had the carne asada torta. The bread was very soft and buttery. The meat, cheese and fixings all went together so well. I'll be back to try their other dishes. The waitstaff is really nice and the decorations are very cool. read more

Solid mexican place for Birria Tacos. Service was fine, but the food and ambiance make this place worth coming back to. I've tried a few different things here and everything's been solid, but the birria tacos are the highligh. Easily one of the few Mexican spots in the city that's really on point. read more

Good little spot for some tacos. We came in today and the restaurant is very nicely decorated (I've only ordered delivery before). I ordered the tacos barbacoa and it came with the sauce to dip them in. They were very flavorful. I did add a little lime and hot sauce to them to give it a little kick. My partner enjoyed the steak tacos as well. Our sever as very attentive and also be aware that a 15% service fee is included in the check. We'll definitely be back! read more

If the review was based on service and ambiance only this place would get 5 stars. But sadly the food wasn't that good so I have to give a low score. I ordered the barbacoa tacos, it was birria meat but it was very greasy that it overpowered the taste. I also ordered no maches tacos, they were big and had good flavor but were also very greasy. Also their hot sauce is weak read more

food was great and has lots of potential to be an amazing spot. my bf ordered a ramen and we did not notice their were peas in the ramen (my bf has a bean / pea allergy) our fault for not checking in with the server until the food was served. when we noticed , we told her and she quickly offered something else to eat. when the check came we noticed they didn't take the ramen off the bill and it was not touched at all. we told our server and she became hesitant and told us a refund or removing that off the bill wasn't possible. we told her we'd wait to get the owner in the phone because on top of not removing it they have an 18% gratuity added and an additional 5% charge if you're paying with card. seems like a money grab and we are not interested in this spot again. so sad read more

Ordered on Uber Eats, they got basic food request wrong. We also ordered the chips and salsa, the salsa was literally canned tomato sauce, it was nasty. Birria tacos have no flavor but queso, meat is bland. Carne asada tacos were ok. read more

Place is clean inviting. Service is decent. Food is okay. Taco pastor are okay we have had better. Sorry Drinks we had modelos can't go wrong with this. Food is served fast. A plus. Parking is free out front. Price: $$ Casual setting. Enjoy you all! Cheers! read more

So yummy and filling! The service is always friendly and speedy. The guacamole and chips are very fresh. The queso fundido was a little too greasy for me but was still flavorful. The margaritas are only $9 during their happy hour and were delicious. I ordered a vegetable burrito with cheese and it was huge. Super filling and delicious! We also tried the elote and it was 10/10. Definitely recommend for a casual and fun experience that won't be overpriced. read more

Great food. Really, really good. But.... They auto-grat every check, regardless of party size. And then they charge different amounts for using a card, even when the menu doesn't mention that at all. Great little racket for them. read more

I absolutely love the food here! The MANGONADA is 10/10 with or without tequila is soooooo tasty! The tacos are outstanding as well. I do the al pastor tacos and chicken! I love getting the esquite too it's top with Tajin and cheese I will saying rating for 4/5 is due to how late we got our food. We waited about an 40-50 minutes to get everything. Overall the staff was friendly and attentive! read more

This place used to be a little hole in the wall and it was great then and now they expanded next door and are even better. Everyone that works there is so accommodating and friendly. The food is amazing and the prices are not outrageous. We had a burrito and it was spectacular. I really can't wait to go back and eat there again. read more

Easy to miss hole in the wall, tucked into a shopping center. A MUST if you're in the mood for authentic Mexican. Service is always great, the servers are attentive and knowledgeable and are always giving recommendations if needed. Have been coming here for a few years now, only issue is that it's small space, so on weekends be prepared to wait! Worth the wait in my opinion. Food is great quality, authentic, flavorful. Lots of options for pescatarians and a couple options for vegans as well! PRO TIP: get the mangonada! TRUST ME! read more

My best friend lives in the building just a few blocks away so we decided to get some tacos for pick up. Unfortunately, only one of our meals was anything near tasty. I tried the surf and turf tacos, and was highly disappointed to see what was literally a tortilla with steak and shrimp in it -- and that's it. No onions, cilantro pico de Gallo nothing. In fact, if I had not ordered guacamole, I don't even think that would have came with it either. My friend try the birria tacos and those were halfway decent, luckily she shared with me. The chips were good and the guac was tasty so at least that saved my appetite, but I don't think that I would give this place another shot for its tacos. The food was ready very quickly, and the place was full but not too crowded. They had outdoor seating as well, a couple tables. Definitely not authentic Mexican, which is what I am always looking for in a taco spot. Shredded lettuce should not be automatically included on anything! Just my opinion. read more

WE WOKE UP WITH FOOD POISONING THE NEXT DAY - AVOID ORDERING TAKE OUT !!!!!!!!!! We stopped at No Maches, expecting a hidden gem based on the positive reviews, but unfortunately, it turned out to be the complete opposite. From the start, the bar area had a weird musty smell. Ordering was easy enough, but we weren't told the total or given an estimated wait time until we had to track down our server to get any information. Even then, we weren't charged until the food finally arrived. We ordered four items totaling $89. Although we wouldn't mind paying if the food was good, it was far from it. We requested lettuce and guac for our burrito but weren't informed of the $2 charge for lettuce and the $4 charge for guac. Even worse, they forgot the lettuce entirely, and the guac was barely a spoonful. To top it off, the burrito was mainly rice and the chicken in the burrito wasn't fully cooked. We also ordered nachos with chicken but were served red meat instead ( ALSO NOT FULLY COOKED ). Lastly, we got a mangonada, which cost $10 for just barley a 6oz cup. The only decent item we had was the esquite, which would be hard to mess up anyway. For such inflated prices, we felt robbed. I highly recommend checking your food thoroughly if you choose to eat here. I don't know if it's their takeout quality control that's lacking, but at this price, the quality just isn't there. Next time, I'd gladly go to Taco Rico or a local taco truck, knowing I'll get properly cooked food for half the price. read more

Food is alright. I feel like there are much better burritos out there. And they don't put half the meat that other places put on their burritos. It's also a bit over priced for what it is. I'll give 3 stars. I don't mind paying $15 bucks for a burrito, but I expect some meat in there, not just rice and cheese. read more

I was very excited to try this place but I left underwhelmed. I came with my niece and her boyfriend and we ordered multiple items to taste as much as we could. We ended up ordering the quesabirria tacos, flautas, and ramen. The quesabirria were good but nothing mind blowing. Everything else was just basic. It tasted good but there has to be a wow factor for me to come back. I would not come back here. Then when the check came I was shocked by how pricey they were in comparison with the food served. I am all for supporting small businesses but the food here was just okay. read more

They also play banda which set the tone for the authenticity of the food! Super good food, for a super good price! read more

I had so much hope and expectations for this place - ended up swinging by at 8pm on a Thursday, and was presently surprised to see they had a couple of people there. I ordered to go and was told to wait 15 min - ok... walked to a supermarket close by to get milk and came back 15 min later to be told that it would be another 7 minutes (very specific number but ok) those 7 minutes became another 15 and I went back to ask where was my food. In total it took 45 minutes to get 3 tacos to go... I can't say they were bad, but they were fairly small and somewhat empty - after waiting 45 minutes for them I was pretty disappointed. They have parked upfront that seems to be used by their patrons at night + the dance academy next door. read more

Small place delivers on Mexican food. When we went they were undergoing an expansion so it's not as crowded. Good for them! Located inside a small strip mall, parking can be a challenge but well worth it, once you step inside and try their food. We had a mangonada, which comes with or without alcohol. Think mango juice but not watery and with chunks of mango inside. It came with a frozen watermelon piece of candy. We also had guacamole and chips, esquite (corn, mayo, queso, and chile, all inside a plastic drinking cup), and an elote loco (corn on the cob with mayo and hot cheetos). Everything was fresh and the guac, although it had tomatoes (I don't care for tomatoes in my guac), was very tasty and felt like a home cooked meal. For main meals, we had a three taco combo (chorizo, chicken and carne asada), tacos al pastor and quesatacos barbacoa (birria tacos). These came with a beef consommé in which you dipped the tacos. For dessert with had churros with Nutella. Can't go wrong with churros or Nutella. Service was friendly and prompt. read more

Wow, just wow! I spotted this place while doing errands and decided to give it a try. Let me just tell you, I have no regrets. The host quickly greeted me and got me a table. I started with the elote, that was delicious. I ate it so fast and forgot to take a picture. As for my drink, I decided to get the mangonada. It was amazing non alcoholic drink. I loved it so much that I asked the waitress if they sold this by the gallo. Sadly she said no. Hahaha I also ordered the quesataco which had tendered shredded beef and cheese with a dipping soup that tasted so good. So happy I gave this place a try. read more

This is by far my favorite spot to get tacos in Miami! This is a small restaurant with a small menu but it has all the essentials! These are the best birria tacos I've ever heard. The meat and dipping sauce is to die for!!! One of my favorite appetizers in any Mexican restaurant is queso fundido and they make it sooo good here and they also give you a few tortillas. I've come here on dates with my boyfriend, to catch up with girl friends, and even with family. The staff here is very attentive, kind, and knowledgeable about the menu if you have any questions! This is definitely the next spot you need to check out to satisfy your Taco Tuesday cravings! read more
