Got the pop culture latte. The cold foam was the highlight. It actually tasted like popcorn and was super unique. The latte itself was a bit of a letdown though, it tasted a little watered down with the espresso coming through weak, and leaned more on the syrupy sweet side. The vibes were cool with music playing and not too crowded, so it felt easy to just chill. I also liked that everything is compostable. Service was fine, nothing standout but no issues.

ASH & JESSE'S COFFEE CRAWL '25 Ranked #10 out of 15 We actually stopped here after we paid a visit to Layla and Ringos-- further up the street. We saw their specials on the chalkboard outside and had to try them out. We got the Salted Honey Coconut latte that was yummy! Super cute inside & not too busy.

What a cozy spot for coffee & chill! Got the salted maple latte which was made perfectly. I appreciate that it wasn't overly crowded and there was a comfortable seating area with couches and tables and large windows to let in natural light.

Nice atmosphere, comfortable seating and a good tasting coffee priced right. Definitely one of my favorite spots.

Stopped in for a coffee hoping to find a spot to study for a bit, but definitely not setup for that. They had a few tables, but no outlets. Dollop coffee is pretty good, so no complaints! Ordered a Vietnamese Iced Coffee, Cereal Milk Matcha, Beacon Chocolate Glazed Donut, and Chocolate Almond Biscotti. The Cereal Milk Matcha was pretty mid, wouldn't recommend personally.

Great coffee shop with full tea / coffee menu and some selection of pastries. The cold brew pea flower tea with cold foam oat milk (aka Blue Milk) is super yummy. This coffee shop has a super comfy and quiet sitting area in addition to its main store area. People behind the counter were super nice and answered all the questions I had about the menu

Popped in for a quick breakfast on the go on a weekday around 9 AM. It was pretty busy, yet the staff were quick and efficient. The coffee shop is pretty small, however it is adjacent to a lobby with comfortable seating for any spillover customers who need a spot to sit. The breakfast sandwich is great. Moist biscuit, thick & fluffy egg, and crispy bacon What more could you need? I would skip the bagels for sure though. Very chewy and severely lacking cream cheese...

I stopped into this new location to check it out. It is close to the Moody Bible College so I think it's a great location for the many students nearby. The residential building next door is connected so that seems super convenient. There are also bus and train stops, making it easy to grab a beverage. The store is small, bright and cheerful. The pops of color add fun whimsey. High ceilings, giant windows and bright yellow chairs are perfect! The staff were so friendly. I checked out the menu and the girl behind the counter was happy to answer all of my questions. The blue drink caught my eye... My oat chai latte was delicious!!! They use a local purveyor for the chai, which I appreciate very much. The pastry case was almost empty as I stopped in late afternoon. They offer a few different things to nosh so I'll stop in next time a bit earlier. I liked this Dollop location very much and will check it out again soon!

Experience: This wonderful visit was due to an Elite Experience Event. The whole process was fairly easy and the staff was very professional and friendly. On a Friday, during brunch hours, it seemed pretty packed, but I was able to order and receive my drink pretty quickly! Parking: Being that this business is located in Old Town/ Downtown, parking was very challenging, however not impossible depending when you go. Unfortunately, during my visit, it seems like it is only meter parking. Unsure about any free spots. Worth: I ordered a Strawberry Lemongrass Matcha Latte (as pictured) and it surely did not disappoint. I would honestly come back here because it seems like a great place to get work done. In addition, as mentioned earlier, the staff was very friendly, which is a huge plus in my book

So excited this coffee shop finally opened! The location is really convenient (it's attached to the first floor of an apartment building) and they have a nice walk up window if you don't have time to go inside to pick up your order. The baristas are really friendly and I loved the oat milk latte and donut I had during my visit. There are a few seats inside the cafe and there's plenty of seats in the apartment lobby for people to sit and work at as well. Will definitely be visiting this place often!

Popped in here on my way to Soul Cycle in Old Town. I got a vanilla iced latte with oat milk and it didn't disappoint. Coffee preferences vary so much, but I love a strong brew with a rich, creamy milk and hint of sweetness and the ladies on duty today hit this on the mark!

Dollop serves one of the best regular old cups o' joe in the city, although they offer so much more. The person in line ahead of me got a sandwich, and it looked really appetizing. Lunch isn't something I would usually think of when at a coffee house, but I'll definitely keep it in mind after seeing the food and perusing the thoughtful menu. There's extra seating here to, as the adjacent residential lobby is open to the coffee house, and comfy chairs and sofas abound. Service is super friendly and efficient. Nice place, great coffee.

Latte was weak, and they charged more than $4 for an extra shot bringing the total to $11+ for a latte. That is not normal.

The staff were really welcoming, for an early morning. I got the hot chocolate. Honestly that's exactly what I needed that morning. It had that real Mexican chocolate taste. Thick, creamy, smooth and rich. The cinnamon came through warm but not too strong, plus a little extra on top that hit your nose before the first sip. Sweet and it almost had this slight earthy note too... hard to explain but good. It even had that little design on top, like the ones they do on cappuccinos. Didn't expect that but it was cool. I finished it slow. Didn't wanna rush it. Just sat there taking small sips and enjoying it while it was still hot.

The tomatoes in the Eggs in Purgatory tasted very fresh. The steak was great, though a little salty, but the meal was very flavorful overall. And those potatoes?!! So good. Set in an old warehouse that is now an art gallery event space and restaurant nestled in an older warehouse district in Bridgeport neighborhood of Chicago. Beautiful decor and laid out perfectly. The natural wood floors furniture ie tables chairs etc and iron work throughout sets the ambiance for old meets new. It works. The wide spacing between tables makes for a comfortable dining experience. So many folks come in to do their work and dine here. What a super addition to the neighborhood that less than a decade ago was essentially a street that was more a run down semi-truck alley. Great menu with neighborhood favorites leaning toward the old school Italian dishes. Sandwiches, soups, salads, and breakfasts just to name a few are all excellent. The pastries are insane and a must take home deal. I love the American Breakfast. Three eggs your way, thick diced America potatoes, thick cut bacon, and sourdough toast. Accompanied by what I believe to be home made jelly and for sure homemade gardiniera. Caruso's gardiniera actually. Diced into a relish unlike most standard gardiniera it's easier to eat with many dishes. Excellent flavor and just the right kick to it. FYI Dolce Arte also sells a to go line of homemade Caruso products from their gardiniera to past and past sauces and more. Yes, their coffee is really good too. Lavazza products I believe. The service is always on point. Casual but on point. Very friendly staff from diverse backgrounds. This is the place you bring people close to you, business lunches, meetings, formal ir informal, or like me, save it for myself as my own getaway spot. It's an artists dream and sets a positive time for any gathering.
