Small, aesthetic coffee shop. We came in the morning and there wasn't a line. I got a hot latte with almond milk. It came out quickly and just as I expected. Not mind blowing coffee, but not bad. I might be blind but I didn't see the postcards that the other reviewers were mentioning.

Yummy salted butterscotch latte, vibey inside, lots of natural light, Publican pastries.

Came in for a matcha and a treat one morning. This cafe gives Korean coffee shop vibes, which we love. The seating is so cute and comfy, service was great. I had a matcha w a savory pastry. My friend had coffee with a ham and cheese pastry. We both loved what we ordered and had a lovely time. Parking in this neighborhood is wild tho lol it's def the most expensive pay to park that exists in the city so keep that in mind! The walk of this cafe also opens up to whatever store exists next door too, randomly lol

Postcard is a trendy little cafe in West Loop with excellent service, really good matcha, sandwiches and salads. It's super busy so finding a seat can be tricky considering that they share space with Monos luggage. Overall, I highly recommend Postcard to anyone coming to the city.

I've walked past this place who knows how many times since they've opened and it looks so cute inside. I finally stopped in for a quick visit. The two ladies behind the counter were so kind and answered all of my questions. Iced chia isn't really "on the menu" yet the ladies made one happen for my boyfriend. The Chia was amazing. It had a hint of banana. It was loose leaf. It was fun watching them brew it. I ordered a cappuccino. I was a little nervous. They use metric brand coffee and normally I'm not a fan but I loved my cappuccino with oat milk. I'll be back to visit again I saw a few people sitting and eating with hot bites that looked really good!

What a cool addition to the neighborhood. I didn't realize this was attached to the Monos store next door. It's a new coffee/cafe spot that just opened this past weekend with a really fun Vinyl Bar aesthetic. The staff is really friendly. The coffee was good (I got a flat white), but the sweet pastry (apparently from Publican) was just okay. It didn't taste fresh, but just something to improve on. They have a small food menu outside of pastries too. They're gonna start having DJs in the Vinyl area which sounds neat. Two things stood out to me during my visit: -- Because the windows and natural light are plentiful (which is a good thing), it can get *really* hot, even if it's like 78° and sunny. Like Sunburn in 20 minutes hot. -- At least when I was there, there were no "Iced Drinks" explicitly on the menu. You can get your hot drinks over ice, but I really recommend they add a Cold Brew or something along those lines to the menu. I'd say 75% of guests were drinking iced drinks.

Very cute cafe with great atmosphere in the west loop. Flat white was really nice. Biggest complaint is the food prices. The tuna toastie was good but is criminally priced at $19.

A great coffee shop to go if you wanna chat with friends and just chillin there! Not a working spot as the seats are very narrow and limited inside. I had an iced Americano and a danish. Both were so good!

This place is super cute with a mix of aesthetic vibes that make it perfect for photos. There isn't a ton of seating, but the food and drinks more than make up for it. The small bites are delicious don't let the size fool you, the flavor is absolutely there. I highly recommend the matcha, and the coffee is amazing as well. My personal favorite, though, is their nonalcoholic drinks. They're not only really good, but also beautifully made and very Instagram-worthy. You can tell they pay attention to the little details like the ice cubes stamped with a "P" for Postcard. That extra care really stands out and elevates the whole experience. Great food, great drinks, and such a charming spot overall. Definitely worth checking out.

Very cool space with a bright, modern interior and eye-catching cup design--everything about the visuals is on point. The coffee, however, was just okay. Our hot latte unfortunately tasted bitter and not very pleasant. They use Metric beans - not sure about which one specifically - but the bitterness might come from the extraction. The baked goods selection is not very appealing to me. On the other hand, the matcha was solid - I truly enjoyed it and would highly recommend.

This is a very modern 'aesthetic' driven coffee shop and it's nice to have another cafe in the area. There are a few spots inside if you are looking to work and an area for days when they have a live DJ. I got a vanilla latte and it was decently priced and actually good! They also have pastries available. It gets pretty busy so finding a spot to work at can be a little difficult. Staff was also nice and helpful and I love their t-shirts! I'd come again if I'm in the area and need a coffee.

Need to come back and try again. The music is good (playlist, no live DJ), I love the set up and would love to see a DJ one day. I ordered matcha and it was well done, but the food was disappointing. It's wayyy too small for $15+, I thought the flavors needed more balancing, and I like my toast a bit crunchier

Super cute & aesthetic coffee shop in the heart of west loop!! It's travel themed hence the postcards they give out & the luggage store they have next door. The iced matcha latte with brown sugar was decent (7/10), not the best I've had though. The milk & honey toastie (9.5/10) and the tamago toastie (8.5/10) were very overpriced, but super tasty and well seasoned. I loved the mint on the milk and honey toastie! Super lively inside with limited seating, so might not be the best to study at unless you get a good spot!

We started with a mocha, a solid, well-balanced drink that wasn't overly sweet and was just perfect. We didn't plan on eating here, but the menu was way too tempting. We ordered the cinnamon roll, and wow. This was insanely good. Most cinnamon rolls in the U.S. feel like sugar-heavy, cinnamon-flavored buns, but this one was light, flavorful, and beautifully made. The irimshik on top really elevated it, subtle, warm, and just sweet enough. Easy 10/10. Next was the cottage cheese pancake, which was also very good. It had a generous amount of cottage cheese stuffed inside, and paired with the sweet irimshik dip, the dish came together really well. 9/10. We then tried the qattama. It was good. flaky, crispy, and reminded me of a paratha. It came with a sour irimshik dip. While each component was good, I felt the qattama would shine more with a gravy-based dish. 7/10. Finally, we ordered the Nan Salma pasta. It's a tarry-based white sauce pasta with a unique flavor profile, and it was genuinely yum. Definitely something different and worth trying. Highly recommend it. 8/10. You have space to sit down and work as well. Service was good too. Some of the dishes might take 7-10mins to get prepared. It's not like your daily coffee shop who have stuff ready to go Overall, a great spot with unique food and a welcoming vibe. Definitely coming back. 9/10

First off, the staff were nice so this review does not have to do with them. It has everything to do with the atrocious, offensive liquid that they dare call coffee. When you walk in, the space is small, humid, and dirty. The tables were all sticky with drink residue and crumbs everywhere. It's the Loop so I'll give some grace but it was pretty unpleasant. We ordered the strawberry matcha and vanilla latte. The matcha came out murky green with an attempt of making it look nice with a chaotic splattering of strawberry puree/sauce (?). It tasted like it looked...trash. You might be wondering, "Well why would you order a matcha here?" And you would be correct. In my defense, you would think that if there is a drink on the menu, it would at least be somewhat good but now that I think about it, that might be too much to ask. Now to my #1 gripe, the latte. It was watery and nearly flavorless aside from the diabolical acidic taste that assaulted my tastebuds. For context, we HATE wasting food/drink; I could probably count on one hand how many times I've done that in my life. We threw away the lattes after a few forced sips; that should tell you how nasty it was. Bad coffee, bad drinks, it happens. But paying ~$8 for each drink really does rub salt in the wound. I will NEVER drink Intelligentsia coffee again. In the grand scheme of things, my review doesn't matter but if I can warn at least one other person about the atrocities this company commits to coffee/matcha, then maybe it will make up for the waste of money & time I spent here.

Too Good To Go is a program that allows businesses to sell left over food at the end of the day on discount, avoiding food waste. For lunch I had an Americano, the vegetarian egg sandwich and a Margherita Bistro, which is like a cross between a margherita pizza slice but in a latticed pastry. Both the Americano and egg sandwich were actually excellent, while the Margherita Bistro was less noteworthy but fine. Actually when I looked up Margherita Bistro, wanting to learn if it's a common thing and it turns out that it's made by a food service company (Bridor, owned by French Groupe Leduff which supplies baked goods to cafés all over Europe). I got two cake slices later in my Too Good To Go order. The strawberry cheesecake (Monteressa cheese cake, made with marscapone, ricotta and fresh strawberries) was delicious while the carrot cake was not as good but still fine. It turns out that the Monteressa cheesecake is made by another big supply company (Bindi) that supplies Italian desserts. Coffee appears to be from Illy. I'd definitely recommend Café Crèmerie for their good coffee, excellent egg sandwich, and nice atmosphere. I'm also giving Café Crèmerie 4/5 Green Stars for social and environmental impact, based on the following: * First I'll get into the mediocre aspects and then some positive points. * Coffee is from Illy, which I would say is slightly better than average for a major coffee company. It's a certified B Corporation but it not known for organic or fair trade coffee (they do a kind of direct trade). * Many of the pastries are mass-produced by companies that supply European or European-style cafes. Like Illy, these suppliers are perhaps slightly better than average: Bridor mentions using cage-free eggs while Bindi uses renewable energy. * A lot of the menu is suitable for vegetarians and I appreciate that there's no sign of beef on the menu (the single food product that drives around 10% of climate change). Would be nice to see more vegan options. * Café Crèmerie does a nice job at avoiding waste generation. Ceramic cups are available for coffee and food is served on trays with a paper liner. * I also appreciate that Café Crèmerie takes part in the Too Good To Go program, avoiding food waste.
