Iced latte with Cafe De Olla syrup

Iced latte with Cafe De Olla syrup was some of the best coffee I've ever had. Also super cool decor inside

Sarina Z.

I was really excited to check out this cafe after hearing great things and seeing their menu, but my experience fell a bit short. I got the smoky matcha, which sounded super interesting, but it mostly tasted like cereal milk and didn't have that distinct matcha flavor I was hoping for, especially at nearly $9. That said, the space itself is beautiful. There's plenty of seating, including some large communal tables, making it a great spot to hang out or work for a while. I'd definitely come back to try something else since the atmosphere is lovely, but the drink didn't quite live up to the hype for me.

Menu! Love the design

Really cool coffee shop in the little village area. Seems like a nice place to meet friends or just chill for a bit. Ordering took quite a while, probably about a 15 minute wait to place an order then another 10 minutes to receive it since there was only 1 gal working both the register and bar. I felt bad for her!! She apologized to us many times so I'm sure she was feeling pressured. We were very understanding! Overall I wouldn't recommend stopping here if you're in a hurry, but it's a great spot to sit and hang for a bit. I absolutely loved the menu, it was hanging in the window with one side, showing all the photos of the drinks, which was really cool, and the other side, the drink names and descriptions. I've never seen a menu quite like this so I found it really awesome and appealing. There weren't a ton of food or snack options, a couple grab items and a few bakery items but nothing that looked too appealing to me so I passed. Since they don't have actual breakfast sandwiches, I would not recommend coming hungry. They also did not have a ton of seating if you are there to work from a laptop, and the Wi-Fi seemed to be a bit spotty, so I think it would be best to sit here with a book or meet up with friends to chat. Also I found it to be freezing inside and had to go to my car to get a sweatshirt! TL;DR: great spot to sit and hang with a friend or read a book, don't expect it to be a super quick grab and go spot, best for a good coffee drink.

Piña cold brew

Cute upscale but approachable neighborhood coffee spot. Ordered the Piña cold brew and the affogato with tortilla ice cream. Both drinks looked beautiful but the affogato was my fav as it was unique but approachable. Also really liked the cafe de olla - creamy, earthy, and relaxing. They really shoot outside the box here which is fun and refreshing as vanilla lattes are nice but where else is making piña lattes?

Looooooooooove this place so much, very unique specialty lattes, seasonal drinks, amazing baristas who are super nice and helpful. Pretty small so not a ton of seating but lots of lighting on the corner of the block. I got some corn latte that I loved, very cozy. Can't wait to return.

Latte with cardamom syrup

Went for the first time today and I am in loooove. This is a cute little shop that sits on the corner of the street. Nice natural light. The decor is super cute and feels like you're stepping into a culturally authentic place. The barista was friendly and made a great recommendation of the cardamom latte. I'll definitely be back to enjoy another specialty drink, a book and some natural vitamin D

Piña Vera cold brew

Came in on a Monday around 11am, very chill and beautiful space. I got the Piña Vera Cold Brew and it's pretty original giving a refreshing taste of a pina colada minus the alcohol and have the caffeine from the cold brew. Service was quick and the worker, wish we got their name, was very helping giving suggestions for everything and explaining everything. After mentioning we had a flight to catch they tried their best to get the drinks out on time. We made our flights btw.

Bueno Days is so beautiful! The space was light, open, and very aesthetically pleasing. I ordered the guayaba matcha and it was SO yummy!! I don't drink coffee but my friend said their drink was good as well. There's some nice seating, and I could definitely see this as a place to come and hang out for a bit.

Everything is amazing on my first time visiting, only issue if you visit this cafe to work too, their seating is very limited to where you can place your laptop at with nearby plugs + a table to reach :( Although, if you need somewhere to work for maybe 1-3 hours or a quick meeting with some matcha, this can work! Super photogenic location though and great drink service.

Bueno Days is such a thoughtfully designed spot. The location itself has been transformed beautifully--it's full of natural sunlight, plenty of plants, and comfortable seating that makes it feel welcoming the moment you walk in. The service was good, and I could tell they take pride in the setup, which made me even more curious about the story behind the café. Inside, people were studying, relaxing, and just enjoying the space, which says a lot about the vibe they've created. Definitely a place I'd come back to if I wanted a calm atmosphere with great energy.

Cute and bright coffee shop. The ladies were very friendly. Drinks were on the experimental side to incorporate Mexican elements. Drinks are pricey but worth the experience.

Conflei latte

This cafe reminded me of the coffee shops in Mexico City. The interior is bright and vibrant. The confleis latte is so delicious and tastes like corn flake cereal. Highly recommend trying it out!

The hype is deserved, great bespoke beverages. Standard latte was fab and I really liked the smoked guayaba matcha.

It's fresh, a little sweet, and makes you feel like you've made a good life decision--even if you're just ordering coffee in pajamas. Everything arrived perfectly and tasted like someone actually cared while making it. 10/10, would absolutely order again and pretend I'm a sophisticated person with a refined palate.

The vibe is cozy, eclectic, and with a slightly gothic feel that I absolutely love. There are plenty of large tables for studying, plus comfy booths with pillows if you want to settle in for a few hours. The lighting is on the darker side, which I appreciate, and everyone seems to be doing their own thing, making it a great place to focus or just hang out. I recently learned that on Friday evenings and weekends after 5 pm, the space transforms into Bar None. They have a cute patio and even a speakeasy-style space downstairs, which I can't wait to check out. I've only tried the cold brew, chai latte, and hummus platter so far. The chai latte was delicious, while the cold brew and hummus didn't quite wow me, but I'm definitely excited to come back and try more. Overall, it's such a cool spot, and the fact that it's only a 15-minute walk from my place makes it even better.

While reading I saw that Metric in Chicago was on the list. And that was the sign this place had to be a must try! Came here on a Saturday morning. I walked a few miles from downtown to the neighborhood this place is in. It is in an industrial part town of area. Kind of reminds me of the west bank of the flats area or temont type of area we have in Cleveland. The shop itself is not very big. However the coffee, is absolutely incredible. While there I met Cara . She was so friendly and knowledgeable. I mentioned that the reason for making the walk to this place was to see how it measured with award of top 100 shop. From there I got my espresso. Amazing. Just amazing! Cara also took the time explain the cupping process. And how Metric gets their beans. Fully stocked pastries and options, great customer service and HOT tea!!! My visit today Saturday 2/28 @3pm CST was VERY disappointing not only for me. Let's get into it. I was second in line I paid for my croissants and stepped aside while I waited for my Honey Lavender Matcha. The 2 girls in front of me was also waiting. One left she too ordered the same tea. The second girl in front of me was checking her order and noticed (2) Honey Lavender Matcha (cold) on the screen and they removed it. Gave her her order and she left. I'm still standing and waiting and the girl with the duplicate tea on her order returns and says you didn't give me my tea. My drink is finished and my matcha cup is not hot. I take a sip and it's tasteless and luke warm. I didn't feel like more waiting I left and heated it up at home. These two cashiers need more coaching on QA quality assurance is important when it's not included it causes customer service to drop quite a bit. I know this was a one off bad experience which is why I'm rating this place 5. However if it was my first time visiting this franchise they would've gotten a 2 out of 5. They advertise hot tea mine was not.

It's smooth, perfectly foamy, and dangerously drinkable. I order multiple every time because apparently I believe I'm running a small coffee distribution center from my home. Every single one arrives amazing. No weak links. Just great coffee across the board. The spinakopita pastry deserves its own fan club--golden, flaky, warm, and packed with spinach and feta in that perfect savory balance. It's the kind of pastry that makes you pause mid-bite and go, "okay... this is really good." And the blueberry muffin gets an honorable mention because it quietly does its job extremely well--moist, full of blueberries, and not overly sweet. The reliable supporting actor of the order. Bottom line: if you're ordering from Ground Up, maybe plan on getting more than one coffee... because you'll probably wish you had anyway.

I love a specialty latte so the Honey Bee latte caught my eye and oof, delicious but maybe a little too sweet for me. I think with an extra shot of espresso and a little less sweetener it would have been PERFECT, but as is, it was just a little too weak and a little too sweet. My friend got the banana coffee from the same specialty menu and felt the same way. This is one of her favorite spots in town, so definitely good coffee and worth another visit, but I might stay away from the specialty drinks menu. We also got a spanakopita as a quick bite and that was a hit!
