This is a super vibey spot and for sure one of my favorite places to study. They have a great seasonal drink menu that never disappoints me. My most recent favorite is the banana miso hojicha that's definitely worth a try! I've had their food before and it was ok but not something I would specifically come here for. The service here is always friendly which is definitely a plus. For the space they always have some great music playing in the background so depending on how you like to study/work this could be a plus or minus. I will say that despite having a lot of space they don't have a lot of places to actually work so you do have to get there early or go at odd hours. read more

The vibe here is great. Lively, a little cozy, and perfect for working or catching up with friends. The space felt really welcoming and inclusive. Service was great too. The guy helping us was really kind and checked if we had any questions. The drinks were really good flavor-wise, but they lean more smooth and liquid rather than textured. The hojicha had a nice cinnamony, nutty flavor, and the banana milk was really good because the espresso wasn't too strong so it leaned more banana matcha. This is my first time going to the Drip Collective. I went on a Saturday for their R&B session. It was very packed and busy. The ambience gave city hipster, very stylish. The seating arrangements they have there are not functional. As you sit, bottoms will be in your face. They do have a few high seated bar areas, but those fill up pretty quickly. Other than that, I really liked the aesthetic of the place. I ordered the banana milk was decent. There was cocoa powder sprinkled on the top of it. It made the drink more bitter. The drink was a 3 out of 10 flavor wise. Wouldn't order it again. I would've preferred it to taste more like a sweet banana. The drinks there are over priced for the size you get. I paid $12 for my small drink. Not worth it. The baked goods that they had they smelled really good. Next time I go I will definitely be trying one. My experience at this place was decent. I'm looking forward to going back there when it's nice out. read more

A nice and relaxed place. There is a large open space with tons of seats, and a large comfy couch too. Service was friendly. The banana miso iced latte was interesting - I got it with macadamia nut milk and it had a great taste. It's expensive for a coffee, but it was a nice treat. By the time we got there, a lot of pastries were sold out, but we did enjoy a cookie and banana bread. A unique latte will always reel me in. I saw the spring/summer menu posted on their Instagram and went to try Drip Collective last weekend. We got the Noir et Creme - Citrus oleo saccharum, cold brew, creme top, nutmeg, more citrus and Banana Miso - Hojicha, cinnamon, banana, miso, oat milk. I will always be disappointed to receive high-end lattes in plastic cups. The flavor of each drink was good but nothing blew me away. They have a spacious area, but somehow seating seems limited. I was such a huge fan of Drip Collective! I came in on a Thursday afternoon, and there were a few people but the space wasn't too crowded. The environment here is super cool--I love the vibes they have going on. There is a decent amount and variety of seating available, and they also have some cool decor and whatnot. All of the drinks looked really good, and they definitely aligned with some of my favorite flavors. I went with the Turon Latte with hojicha. I love that they offer espresso, matcha, and hojicha for their specialty drinks. The Turon Latte was DELICIOUS--I loved the flavor of the banana milk and felt that the flavors complemented each other really well. I will definitely be back to try other options on their menu. My main complaint is just how expensive the drinks were. The baristas were very nice! I also enjoyed the environment for studying. Can't wait for my next visit! read more

Best place for a fun coffee drink in the city! They have rotating speciality drinks which is what has kept me coming back. The strawberry matcha drink they have right now is INSANE!! I've also tried the mango sticky rice matcha, a yuzu soda, and an ube latte. Would definitely recommend getting your drink for there if you can-- the presentation is great. The baristas are friendly here and the space is really cool. Lots of natural lighting, a variety of seating, and there's a florist in the back. [The open times are wrong here. Theyre open at 7am during the week and 8am weekends; 7 days.] This coffee shop is my fave. They have the basic offerings, along with a fun array of seasonal specials. Reg dairy milk options ofc but also oat and macadamia (and soy? I think?) I once mentioned wishing coffee shops had oil free oat milk and the owner brought some in to try it out. They do interesting popups some weekends (I've heard because crowds are not where you'll find me.) The baristas have been there forever (and are super lovely people you dont even mind seeing before you've had coffee!) and are ACTUALLY baristas, like they know how to foam nutmilk and pull excellent espresso. (Their new espresso machine is dope.) They often feature small growers for (usually) 2 espresso options​, tons of teas, pour overs, etc. If there's a line, you went to late and have only yourself to blame; try again tomorrow. ;) read more

I love a good breakfast sandwich so that's what initially brought me in! I did like their sandwich but I wish they had a better aioli to pair with it than just the mayo! I also tried the banana milk which was yummy but I will say they are not consistent with their drinks here. Very vibey cool coffee shop! The interior is super chill and the seating is first come first serve. They also have this shelf like seating which allows for individual seating that was also a cool vibe. The have DJs that come on the weekends in the AM so it is fun to grab your coffee and vibe out to whoever is being featured! You can find that information on their instagram Service is quick and easy to order. The coffee and matcha itself have unique flavors that honestly go really well together. I got the Ube latte which was delicious! Our friends tried: yuzu soda specialist drink with matcha and that was super refreshing + thai tea which wasn't super sweet at all so I recommended a pump of syrup. The matcha I had was very nice, had a very pretty ube layer and was very delicious. It was about $10 with tip but this is to be expected from Chicago coffee shops these days. The seating is designed almost like stairs, which gives the space a modern, creative vibe and makes it fun to just hang out. I ordered the ube special and honestly didn't love it--it wasn't my style. If I come back, I'd stick to something simple like an Americano. That said, I really respect how they showcase and support other coffee companies from around the world--it makes the menu feel more global and community-driven. What a cool interior! Vibes are immaculate, and I instantly wished I was dressed better when I stepped inside. Whoever put together the furniture pieces has an insane eye for design. There's limited seating in terms of being able to sit down and work, but otherwise you can just come here for a nice time. Drinks are on the pricier side, but they're worth the price! i love the idea of drip collective but i do have some notes, and it might just be because i'm not fun/cool enough. everyone loves drip so i don't feel bad knocking one star for authenticity on my behalf, but i do think everyone should come in and try it, because i truly love the overall mission. i got the banana milk w/ espresso because i've heard amazing things about it, and it IS good but it is also incredibly overly sweet in a way that i wasn't necessarily expecting and couldn't thoroughly enjoy. i wish there was a bit more flavor and a little less sugar, but i also could have asked if it was sweet on the offset and potentially modified it. the service is pretty fast even though they get busy!! also, i do love the post-it wall and the overall community outreach aspect of the business SO much. the DJ sets are super cool but i will say that it was incredibly, incredibly loud in here when i came (~2pm on a saturday) and i had a rlly hard time talking to my friend i was with. just a heads up on that!! definitely not a coffee-shop to just come and chill at but very good quality overall. read more
