Love that Discourse moved into a permanent spot, and I always love settling in for a coffee here. Their Fulton Market location is spacious with the same great coffee menu (+ experimental features). I'd love to see them add food options here as well. The Channel Orange might be my favorite coffee ever. And the Ramen Latte is confirmed vegetarian, so I'm glad I tried that as well.

I'm just blown away by the unique menu and drinks! I got their Pappy and I want to say it was so good! I don't drink coffee often but this was so smooth and definitely would be back to try it. The inside has so much seating inside and outside as well. Perfect for studying or working from home. Loved how the barista are so nice and they even go through the menu with you and give their own recommendations. This is where Fulton market is and such a perfect edition.

I'll start off with the coffee is fantastic. The beans and the roast are flavorful without being bitter or overpowering. The place does very interesting coffee beverages which is great, but it might not be for everyone. We tried: - Ramen Latte - Channel Orange The coffee within the ramen latte was great, but ramen and coffee is not for me. If you don't like fruity coffee the Chanel Orange might change your mind. Again, not really my thing but I could finish the cup. All to say, you'd be very happy with a normal latte or coffee. You don't have to try a trendy one if it doesn't sound appealing'

After 5 visits, I'm finally ready to review Discourse, the best new addition to the coffee scene in Chicago and one of the *best* pour over experiences I've had in Chicago. While discourse is NOT a roaster, they have an absolute mastery of espresso and pour over, their products each absolutely hit the spot. I have recommended Discourse to all of my coffee friends who have come to a similar conclusion. The quality control especially given how busy this place can be is insane. Different beans sourced from very well known farms, prepared in various ways (washed, anaerobic etc), I love the variety of flavors. The baristas are all knowledgeable and friendly, and the interior (or exterior, when the sun is out) is an immaculate space and very comfortable. It doesn't get loud so a great spot for an individual trip or to go with friends. I really wish you would all try to visit and support this place. I have come both alone and with friends, and the experience never diminishes. My one suggestion to Discourse is to make sure the water dispenser is full (it is often empty), and it would be nice to be able to purchase gift cards to encourage some friends to visit.

Such a cool spot! Very big space, this would be a great place to work out of! The staff were very friendly and gave me a great recommendation! I love the vibe! It's like cocktails in coffee/tea form, very cool! I got the pappy. It's a latte with maple syrup, bourbon essence and black Lava salt. I loved this so much. Not too milky, great espresso flavor. The bourbon essence was a really nice touch! I'm excited to go back and try more! The ramen latte is very intriguing!

Absolutely loved Discourse! Staff were extremely friendly and kind. Very large space with plenty of tables inside, and a nice patio area! All of the drinks are not only picture perfect, but off the charts flavor. Channel orange latte was incredible, would suggest it hot!

The vibes were great. Good music and definitely a solid WFH spot, though it's a little dim inside and I didn't see water available. Service was AMAZING. The server asked if it was my first time, said I picked good drinks, and even brought the lattes to my table. She really went above and beyond. The ramen latte (4/10) was honestly too wild for me. I liked the crunch of the ramen on top, but the drink itself tasted super salty with heavy ramen seasoning. It's literally ramen + latte mixed together, which is creative but just not my thing. The Channel Orange latte (7/10) was much easier to drink. It tasted like an orange latte with a salty/spicy kick. Flavor was actually pretty good, but I personally still prefer a more classic nutty latte. Espresso flavor was pretty light too.

    Motorhead Latte

Ordered the Motorhead and honestly one of the best lattes I've ever had. Unique combination of flavors that complement each other well. Perfect Fall drink! Also, overall service and vibes were great.

I went here to get a matcha latte and didn't intend on staying very long. But the ambiance of this place will make you want to take a seat, relax, and sip your drink for a bit. Not only was my drink amazing, but the space was also very calming. I felt like I was getting an elevated cocktail experience instead of a traditional café service. My drink was delicious and presented like a high-end cocktail. I forgot I ordered a matcha when they called my order. I got the Parisian (Matcha Latte), and if you like matcha, you should definitely try this one. I'll definitely be back to explore more of the menu. 9/10.

Looooooove the flora latte, I need to try everything else because the menu is very tantalizing, but I can't stop drinking the flora. So happy the brick and mortar is so close to me :~) super nice & helpful baristas, love that the windows open up when the weather is nice

Located near the Merchandise Mart and overlooking the Chicago River, this location has floor to ceiling windows with amazing views in every direction. Considering the layout, I am sure this place is frequented those who work and/or live nearby. There are plenty of table/chair combos; the perfect setup for laptop and tablet work. I stopped through on Saturday morning and there was a number of people already setup with their respective devices. They also have music playing in the background (at a very acceptable volume level) which for me, just added to the vibe. The staff, were friendly and helpful. Add to that, they did an awesome job of managing the line as it never got too long. As for drinks and food, no complaints here. It's consistent with the Blue Bottle level of quality I have come to expect and appreciate. Overall, I highly recommend checking out this location.

I wasn't particularly impressed by the selection, and the freshness of the donuts left something to be desired. The presentation also took away from the experience. Seeing donuts sitting exposed in boxes where customers can easily view them isn't particularly appealing and doesn't create the freshest visual impression. I tried the maple pecan glazed donut, which was overwhelmingly sweet. Even after just one bite, the intense sugar rush was immediate and overpowering, making it difficult to enjoy the other flavors. The vanilla donut was the better of the two--pleasantly doughy, though it still lacked the freshness I was hoping for. Overall, this was an average experience. The donuts were serviceable, but neither the selection, presentation, nor freshness gave me much reason to return.
