Nice little cafe that felt like a mom/pop shop. Felt like home. Prices weren't too crazy (comparatively) and the location is fabulous. We had 2 drinks and a Bean/Cheese Sandwich. Drinks were very mid, unfortunately haha and sandwich was great. The coffee was not awful and the vibes were good enough to definitely come back and also support. The line was also out the door and I was nervous we would be there for hours...BUT we weren't. It was efficient process and the food was quality. No complaints overall. Thank you Cafe Jumping bean and I plan on coming back soon! Personal Review: 8.6/10

Black Bean Burger

Their food is amazing. Ambience is great too! My only suggestion would be that they don't premix sugar with their Chai, because there are people like me who prefer it without sugar too. Also, their black bean burger is soo underrated!

Excellent coffee and delicious sweets and snacks in a cozy, vibrant and comfortable environment! The staff are very friendly and very fast with your order, the vibe is great and it gets you going! A great place to stop when you're in the neighborhood.

We came here on a Sunday at 10am, there was a line out the door. We waited about 15 minutes in line, and we were able to get a table inside for three of us. This is mostly a to go place. The staff were nice, patrons were kind, atmosphere was a vibe. And it smelled good. They have kid options, pizza, bagels, sandwiches, and a lot of specialty coffee options. I got the chicken salad sandwich on their multigrain bread, my kiddo got the a plain bagel with cream cheese. And my partner got the Molletes (comes with a side of salsa). I got a cold brew, tasted great, and my partner got a Cafe Con Leche. They are known for their focaccia pizza, Molletes, and specialty lattes. Highly recommend, the wait is worth it.

Been here many times for coffee before but didn't have a chance to try some of the food items. We tried the focaccia pizza and the focaccia sandwich. They were both great and VERY filling. Went during lunch time so it was kind of busy in the cafe but we still got our food decently quickly. I would 100% go back and get either of these dishes again.

I've been here many many times throughout the (like 20 years) - but then I moved out of Chicago but after moving back home after 13 years and I'm so very happy to finally be an elite member to finally give this amazing place the best review possible bc they are exactly that, the best!!! Amazing Atmosphere, very artsy! Small but full of love and mucho color but more then ever it has Amor!! Everything and Everyone who works here is exceptional!! The best and quick warm loving service a customer can ever ask for. I'm a little sad it's been gentrified. Hardly any more of my Latino peeps In here. No disrespect bc it's kind to share but it is what it is. I still love this place and will alway love it. One can't go wrong with anything you order

Everyone was right when they said this is the place to go! You literally cannot beat their affordable prices and the portions are so friendly. I tried their pesto chicken salad sandwich with their focaccia bread and it was phenomenal. Their teas and lattes are so tasty too! Def has become a staple for me now.

Matcha latte

This is a cute tiny cafe in Pilsen that's always busy for a very good reason. Their drinks are all very good, including the matcha! This was also my first time having a mollete, which is a Mexican open-faced sandwich with refried beans and white cheese, and this one was topped with vegan chorizo. It was absolutely delicious and freshly made. Also more filling than I expected, definitely recommend. Do note that their seating is limited and it's not really the place to hang out for a while.

Cocina

Cozy vibes and friendly baristas at this spot! Loved the latte--it was a great way to warm up on a cold day. Can't wait to come back and try more of their drinks!

I ordered the Chocolate-Chip Cookie Croissant and WOW! I couldn't believe this combo when I saw it, but I was very impressed. The croissant was slightly dry, but mixed with the cookie, it was perfect! I also had a London Fog Tea and I loved it.

Really good matcha latte and this delicious turkey sandwiches,

There was already a small line of guests with the same idea, but we were able to get on the waitlist. While waiting, we checked out the small coffee shop inside the gallery and browsed the furniture, which helped pass the time. Our wait was about an hour before being escorted to our table in the courtyard. Initially, we were placed at a low coffee table with couch seating. It's a cool lounge style setup, especially for drinks, but not ideal for a meal. It would have been pretty awkward trying to eat comfortably. We asked to be moved and were told that table preferences should be requested when joining the waitlist. Since it was my first time visiting, I wasn't aware of that, and it also wasn't asked by the hostess. Thankfully, they were able to accommodate us and moved us to a table in the wine cellar. The wine cellar had a completely different vibe, dark and moody, compared to the bright, airy courtyard with its beautiful glass ceiling and natural light. We ordered the lobster roll and the RH Burger, both with fries. The food came out fairly quickly and was well-presented. The lobster roll was served on a buttery brioche with just the right amount of seasoning, and the burger was juicy and flavorful. Overall, I had a great experience and would definitely visit again.

My friends and I each tried their specialty drinks and i got an everything croissant. We had high expectations because everything looked so good on the menu. Unfortunately none of us particularly enjoyed anything we got. All of our drinks just tasted like milk (both iced and hot options) and my croissant was oddly sweet because of the filling and I didn't love that. The pastries are actually being shipped in from elsewhere (they have exactly the same one in coffee shops out in Naperville too lol). Which leaves nothing special here. It's also very small so it gets crowded and swamped pretty fast. You're really constantly stepping out of someone's way when you're just waiting for you order, so that's not ideal either. Likely won't return.

We started with a mocha, a solid, well-balanced drink that wasn't overly sweet and was just perfect. We didn't plan on eating here, but the menu was way too tempting. We ordered the cinnamon roll, and wow. This was insanely good. Most cinnamon rolls in the U.S. feel like sugar-heavy, cinnamon-flavored buns, but this one was light, flavorful, and beautifully made. The irimshik on top really elevated it, subtle, warm, and just sweet enough. Easy 10/10. Next was the cottage cheese pancake, which was also very good. It had a generous amount of cottage cheese stuffed inside, and paired with the sweet irimshik dip, the dish came together really well. 9/10. We then tried the qattama. It was good. flaky, crispy, and reminded me of a paratha. It came with a sour irimshik dip. While each component was good, I felt the qattama would shine more with a gravy-based dish. 7/10. Finally, we ordered the Nan Salma pasta. It's a tarry-based white sauce pasta with a unique flavor profile, and it was genuinely yum. Definitely something different and worth trying. Highly recommend it. 8/10. You have space to sit down and work as well. Service was good too. Some of the dishes might take 7-10mins to get prepared. This is a fast casual spot so service was pretty fast. There is a decent amount of seating, most of which was surprisingly taken around 11am on a Thursday. For starters, they no longer have their rainbow cake! I was surprised to hear that considering how popular it's supposed to be. We got both banana lattes which were extremely sweet. It's basically dessert with a hint or caffeine. I'm a big fan of banana, so I actually liked this but I would've preferred half the sweetness. The Turkey Bacon & Egg Croissant was so good! A solid breakfast sandwich - the eggs were cooked perfectly, the turkey bacon was insanely crispy, and that sambal aioli was just what this needed. I highly recommend adding Avocado like I did for some freshness & creaminess since it's a heavy sandwich as is. The Cinnamon Roll was soft, moist, and not overly sweet.
