Mojo is my favorite chain coffee shop. It's Australian and it's knocks a flat white out of the park every time (as it should). Their food options are also made to order so it's feels a little more lux than a Starbucks. The seating at this one is also quite nice. Mojo Coffee was about 2-3 blocks away from my hotel, so I stopped in on my last day for a latte to go. It's inside of an office building, so when you enter through the main entrance, hang a left. There's also a side entrance that's close to the cafe. Staff were very nice. My latte was really good. Would 10/10 go again when I'm back in town for work and staying in the area. read more

In Chicago for a business trip and found the perfect quick and quaint place to stop in for a healthy breakfast and coffee/smoothie. Looks like menu changes often but I had the muesli and maple latte. Mojo is located at the bottom floor of an office building and across the street from a chain coffee shop - but I cannot recommend popping in here instead of a chain enough. Support local. The breakfast was made super quick and you can either dine in or take it to go. Plentiful bakery items like croissants and muffins. Lots of people ordering ham and cheese croissant or the quiches. Coffee options cater to the real coffee connoisseur- none of that fake syrup sugary crap. I came back the following day for a flat white and it was fab. Definitely try this place out! read more

Avocado toast was good but the sourdough bread was too hard (toasted too much). Pourover coffee was also good but a bit too small given the price. Also they do not have any flexibility on the type of egg (they can only make poached, not scrambled for example) which may be due to their limited space. I would recommend toasting the bread a bit less and increasing the amount of coffee that comes with size pourover. Service was excellent. The coffee cake muffin was also amazing. read more

I got a latte here while traveling for work. It's in an office building directly across from the JW Marriott. It was clean, and the service was wonderful. They were very friendly. Admittedly, I didn't love the roast on the coffee used. The coffee itself was a little bitter to me, but I don't think I got a bad shot. It's just personal preference on the beans used I think. That being said, I'd certainly come back and try something else. It's clear they take pride in their coffee, so maybe I just need to try something different. read more

Super cute coffee shop, but I agree with other reviewers who said that you might miss this place if you weren't looking too hard for it. I had a green tea and the presentation was great. The tea didn't taste like your typical green tea (in my opinion), but it wasn't bad. The only complaint I have is that the seating is a bit cramped. And if its crowded, it is easy to get distracted by the conversations of others. But overall I really enjoyed this place! A great place to stop for a coffee or tea. This coffee shop is located on the street level of an office building, so if you are just walking by on the street you'll most likely miss it. The only reason I found out about this place was through a work colleague who suggested that we meet there. Mojo seems like a nice alternative to Starbucks. While I didn't have any coffee on my visit, my colleague did and said he enjoyed it. He ordered a small coffee which resembled the size served in Europe or in America it resembled a kiddie juice cup. It was smaller than a Starbucks "short" cup. So it was an important reminder that not every coffee shop is like Starbucks nor does it have to be. The seating, however, was a bit too cramped for my style. The tables were close together so hearing the conversation from the people sitting next to you could easily be a distraction. My colleagues and I sat at one of the high tables which provided some privacy. read more

Balanced bitterness and sweetness. However, the customer service was at the level which would keep me away from coming back to this location - especially in the morning. The lady who was at the cashier was grumpy and I almost felt bad that she had to work on that day. No hello back to a customer, quick almost I don't care attitude when i asked the code for restrooms, and some tension between a kitchen person and her. I thought it was very awkward and made me uncomfortable to be in such a tense, hostile atmosphere. Maybe she had a bad day or was just not a morning person (or maybe it is the cafe's theme or coldness is considered to be cool here or something). But my customer experience definitely overwrote a good flavor of flat white. read more

Came in here since I was in the area and I wanted to try the New Zealand style coffee. I was greeted with the friendly baristas and I ordered the Flat White and a quiche. The quiche was quite delicious and I loved how it came with a side of salad. The coffee was strong and delicious. There was plenty of seats and workspace available. Get your--you know--mojo back at this New Zealand-chain coffee house in the glassed-in lobby of the 200 S Wacker building. Practically in the shadow of the Sears Tower, the crowd for this place is less tourist and more business coffee--suits and folks trying to casually impress each other or nodding along at their boss's afternoon rant. Service here is pretty great: staff are above average attentive and friendly. Order at counter and sit: they'll bring both beverage and food to your table, including some water. This summer I discovered the Blood Orange & Lemon Espresso Tonic, which blew my overheated mind. Espresso and tonic water are served in classy two-parts letting you do the pour, with creamy espresso waves swirling through the bubbles. And the bright, citrus note espresso was a perfect choice for it. Outdoor seating in front when it's warm, and for a secret outdoor spot, walk around the other side of 200 S Wacker to sit at the tables by the river. A few picks make this place miss 5-stars. Hot drip coffee last time delivered a surprise mouthful of grounds at the end--nope, not ok. Servers are nice but do forget to consistently instruct people on how to sit and so people do stand around waiting for their drink and then are told later to go sit. read more

It's either racism or bad service. The person in front of me had the exact same order. Espresso and croissant. For here. He received a little numbered sign for his table and was told they would bring his order to him. I didn't even get a thank you. Instead I get reminded that I can leave them a tip. Literally. Note, the person in front of me received no such reminder. I tip anyways because I always tip. 18%. The person with the same order and I get tables right next to each other. They bring his espresso to him. Mine is called out and I have to walk back to the counter to get it. I guess my tip was for the privilege of getting my own order. His croissant is brought to him shortly after. They completely "forget" about mine and I have to go to the counter and ask for it. No apologies. Just a curt, "We'll bring it to you". Don't forget to tip though. Remember, it's for the privilege of eating there. Or maybe it's for the racism. Not sure. If you're white, this place is great. If you're not, probably go somewhere else. The first time I visited, I ordered an iced chai tea latte. It was so sad looking; basically all milk with some sprinkle of some kind of spice. But it tasted entirely like milk. Not too pleased with that. The second time I visited, I got an actual coffee (iced vanilla latte with almond milk) and a loaf of marble cake. The marble cake was bland; will not purchase that ever again (in addition to the "chai tea" latte.) But the vanilla latte was actually pretty good! This doesn't seem like it will be my regular coffee place but I will probably stop by here every once a while and only get the vanilla latte. read more
