    Cappuccino

I wanted to try a new coffee shop while downtown and found Mojo. It's located in the lobby of a building. It looks nice and has a reasonable amount of seating. I only got a cappuccino, but noticed they had a couple interesting things on the menu like shakshouka. The cappuccino tasted great and the milk was foamed perfectly. Service was friendly and pricing was on par with other downtown spots.

This place has plenty of seating but the cold brew was not good at all. Next time would have to try something else on menu. But the service was alright, not the best. Maybe because it was toward closing time. They ran out of half and half and wished they had syrup on the side.

Wonderful cappuccino, nestled in a gorgeous classic Chicago building with exquisite architecture. Absolutely worth stopping by while in the loop, a hidden gem.

    Toasted Muesli & Maple Latte

In Chicago for a business trip and found the perfect quick and quaint place to stop in for a healthy breakfast and coffee/smoothie. Looks like menu changes often but I had the muesli and maple latte. Mojo is located at the bottom floor of an office building and across the street from a chain coffee shop - but I cannot recommend popping in here instead of a chain enough. Support local. The breakfast was made super quick and you can either dine in or take it to go. Plentiful bakery items like croissants and muffins. Lots of people ordering ham and cheese croissant or the quiches. Coffee options cater to the real coffee connoisseur- none of that fake syrup sugary crap. I came back the following day for a flat white and it was fab. Definitely try this place out!

Went here around 1 on a weekday. Got an ice latte i wanted to try a pour over but those didn't come iced so slightly disappointed since i hate hot drinks. Over all it was nice experience it was quite and quick since it wasn't busy staff was helpful and in a spot that a nice and convenient for going in the office

I love this place!! For having multiple locations in the city and being in a touristy trap area, this place still delivers. All their drinks are well made and the salmon toast I had most recently was pretty good too.

I always check the menu before visiting a restaurant. Unfortunately, the prices were slightly different from what was listed on Yelp, which is why I'm giving one less star. That said, I really enjoyed the ambiance, the attentive and quick service (which I appreciated since I was in a hurry), and the smoothie I ordered--it had a beautiful combination of flavors.

a cup of green tea and a glass of water

Super cute coffee shop, but I agree with other reviewers who said that you might miss this place if you weren't looking too hard for it. I had a green tea and the presentation was great. The tea didn't taste like your typical green tea (in my opinion), but it wasn't bad. The only complaint I have is that the seating is a bit cramped. And if its crowded, it is easy to get distracted by the conversations of others. But overall I really enjoyed this place! A great place to stop for a coffee or tea. I will definitely come back to try the food!

This coffee shop is located on the street level of an office building, so if you are just walking by on the street you'll most likely miss it. The only reason I found out about this place was through a work colleague who suggested that we meet there. Mojo seems like a nice alternative to Starbucks. While I didn't have any coffee on my visit, my colleague did and said he enjoyed it. He ordered a small coffee which resembled the size served in Europe or in America it resembled a kiddie juice cup. It was smaller than a Starbucks "short" cup. So it was an important reminder that not every coffee shop is like Starbucks nor does it have to be. The seating, however, was a bit too cramped for my style. The tables were close together so hearing the conversation from the people sitting next to you could easily be a distraction. My colleagues and I sat at one of the high tables which provided some privacy.

Amazing coffee from the land of the Kiwis. Terrific breakfast and lunch options like smoked salmon on rye and Comte mustard tomato quiche. Gets busy in the morning even until 10 am but worth the wait. Lots of seating inside and out. Mojo is always a treat I look forward to when I am in the Loop!

Hours are wrong. Complete waste of time going all the way down there. If you're closed for a week, you might want to update customers.

The line was out the door. To get in, walk up the stairs (there's also a menu posted), then order at the register. You'll then pay and pick up your drink when it's called. Drinks are made pretty quickly; the service was kind, and they also have pastries on display. Seating-wise, they have some bar seating. But what gets you is the ambiance; it's rustic and chic! I'm all about trying either a basic or specialty matcha. I got a Matcha Latte, Tokyo Style, with Oat Milk. The matcha was good quality, a bit on the milky and creamy side, but the Tokyo style made it sweet. It was a good pick-me-up, but for the price, it was a bit expensive. I tried my friend's seasonal Hojicha Spiced Pumpkin Latte, and it was strong and good. If you're into matcha or coffee, Sawada Coffee in West Loop is a popular spot. Find them off N Green Street, close to public transportation. Happy me and Irene M. could get our matcha fix!

I ordered 5 coffees one morning, and all the register guy did was write a few names on some cups and placed it down. I understand tipping culture is a divided topic of discussion, but at the end of the day, it is OPTIONAL. After pressing the skip button from what I believe to be non-tip worthy service, he threw a fit and said "Wow you're serious? After I did all that?" Meanwhile all he did was write names on cups. Now I would understand if he was the barista working hard to pump out the coffees, but two lovely ladies were in the back doing that. He shooed me and my friend out of line as we were still processing what he just said. The next customer orders and he had the audacity to talk about us to them while we're 5 feet away. Delusional as he was, he had the nerve to say we were holding up the line and made him do "all that work", and I could promise you, we knew exactly what we wanted to order the second we got up, and took no longer than 45 seconds. We also witnessed he got into it with another customer, so it seems like he's the problem here. Most wild service I have ever received, all for some milky coffees. I ended up tipping the lovely ladies in the back though. Be warned. There are much better spots.
