God save the queen
Elisa L.

I ordered the god save the queen (honey and vanilla) without the cinnamon and it was pretty good! Nicely sweet and strong and service was quick. Came on a Saturday morning around 9:50 am and there was no line to order.

Service with a smile - the barista was SUPER friendly and I enjoyed our conversation. Coffee menu is varied with lots of custom options, and they have some solid pastries too. We were able to find a spot to sit immediately on a Friday morning and enjoyed our coffee. Definitely a solid choice for a quick cup of coffee in the area.

Super cute and spacious coffee shop within walking distance of the nearby Design Museum of Chicago that has a free exhibit that is excellent right now: Arts of Life: celebrating 25 years of providing arts training and employment for folks with disabilities. Go see that! Then come here for a chocolate croissant and coffee! Or Diet Coke, as I'm not a coffee drinker. My kid and I loved sitting together on a big comfy couch and eating our treats. The raisin bun was awesome! Paired it with a fresh banana to boost the nutritional value. Very delicious. Pricy, but it's Chicago in a tourist area. Staffer was lovely, very friendly and efficient. I'd definitely come back if I'm in the neigh again.

Stopped by Two Zero Three before leaving thr city and it exceeded my expectations for a hotel lobby coffee shop! They feature La Colombe coffee in their drinks but to my surprise, they also had their own espresso relayed drinks/lattes. The Purple Rain indeed had a strong lavender taste with a good espresso flavor! The Bee's Knees was also good with the oat milk and touch of salinity from the salt. Could have been a little sweeter with the honey imo. The cookie was thick but a little hard; the spinach feta pastry was actually pretty well seasoned with a nice crunch to chewy ratio! The store itself had a good amount of space and seating, ranging from couches to high top tables. I appreciated how it had enough space for travelers to navigate their small luggages. Staff were polite and drinks came out at a reasonable time. Hotel guests get a 20% off with the voucher they give you at check in!

Stopped here after a bright and early morning! We were craving coffee after eating breakfast and this place was pretty close. It's in the same building as the NBC tower and it's definitely a cool coffee shop. When you walk in, it's pretty small but the setting is really cute. It gives studying, business or even work meeting vibes! I got one of the summer drinks, the Raspberry vanilla Iced latte. If you're like me and like strawberry/raspberry anything, you will definitely love this! It adds a little tartness to the coffee with a hint of raspberry, not too over powering. I would definitely recommend this coffee shop!

It's a small café connected to a hotel. The coffee was pretty solid, although the caramel was on the lighter side. They did add more caramel upon request and it tasted fine. The green tea latte was very good and they do not pre-sugar so you can add whatever sweetener you like .

Plenty of seating available- couches, benches and high stools

Picturing yourself enjoying a gourmet coffee, tea or quick bite and peering out a large window as the L train slowly, saunters bye. A cool spot to get some work done or just lounge. The shop Is located inside the Virgin Hotel so you could easily miss it if you're not looking. Glad I was able to stop in and wish I had done so earlier in my trip. The baristas were super nice and friendly, offering up their personal favorites. The seasonal options were quite unique and I decided to give the pistachio white mocha matcha tea a try. Wow, it was super tasty !!! This was my favorite place to grab tea and will is my favorite place to grab tea in Chicago.

Two Zero Three is a cute cafe located in Loop. It has a cute ambiance and wide range of coffee options (they also have a special winter menu) I ordered a Purple Rain coffee with almond milk. It had a good taste of Lavender and was quite refreshing. They do not have any Vegan options which was disappointing and hence deducted a few stars. I ordered a Spinach and Feta Pastry as I was quite hungry and it was average. They have a huge seating space and a lot of folks were working from the cafe itself. I may come back just for the coffee!

Upstairs Christmas decor - Interior space with Christmas decorations, including a wreath and a small Christmas tree, in a modern hotel or cafe setting.

Good study cafe. Cozy decor and seating. Unique and fun beverages that rotate seasonally. Food is decent. Not too loud. Water offered and bathroom upstairs with bar area and additional seating. Will return to work on my computer again.

Tea menu - Tea menu featuring hot and iced options, including flavors like Earl Grey, matcha, and ginger turmeric, with prices for different sizes.

Being the mom of a barista, I'm looking for little local places. But here in the tourista section of Chicago, I'm going to have to work harder. But... Lovely place to sit and sip. View is nice and moved the music. My "god save the queen" was perfect. Felt like an independent café.

Purple Rain 4 out of 5! Lavender flavor present, good blend. - A large iced coffee beverage in a clear plastic cup with a sealed lid and straw, placed on a marble table.

Overall 4.5 out of 5! (But I always round up) We were only in Chicago for a quick one full day trip and we STILL came to Two Zero Three TWICE. First time my wife and I got a Ice Purple Rain (Lavender) and Queen Bee (Honey Cinnamon). Second time I got the Queen Bee, but iced this time. My wife opted for the Bee's Knee's (Honey and a pinch of salt) - which was a big no for me but my wife liked it. THE GOOD * Unique and GREAT flavors. * Friendly staff. * Clean inside. * Relaxed location that you can probably do some work in. THE BAD * Not so obvious entryway. - We were following a couple going to the same place, they pulled on the exterior door, didn't get in and just walked off. We went to the other door and found the interior door inside the Virgin Hotel entrance. THE UGLY * Nada.

Our server was very kind and, while it was busy, you never felt like you were forgotten about, though our food did take a little longer than I would've expected, but I chalk that up to the fact they were so busy. The meal itself was great! I ordered their Ranchero Breakfast Burrito, which is a decent size and is relatively "healthier" for a breakfast burrito. It comes with eggs, a little cheese, poblano peppers, black beans, sweet corn, and quinoa. I loved the salsa that comes with the burrito and, while they didn't give me a choice for a side with breakfast, the pineapple covered in tajin was a great and unique twist! I would recommend this place if you haven't been, and I'd certainly stop back when I'm in Chicago next!

DAY 1: This "sniffs…read morein" at 4.5 stars... We sniffed in here multiple times during our 3-day visit. Some of the things we consumed: YUZU NITRO COLD BREW: -- my favorite coffee drink here of the trip -- yuzu works very well and is clearly present -- very visually appealing -- smooth and tasty and not too sour -- only orange or multiple citrus blend coffees may beat out this for me RATING = A WHISKEY BOURBON CAKE DONUT: -- lightly sweet w/gentle lean towards moderate -- up to moderate bourbon sniff and taste -- not oily or greasy -- soft interior almost layered -- leans moist, not dry -- size is small -- $5 plus is pricey but a rare find donut flavor RATING = A NOTE: I do miss their Sicilian cannoli from 2022, but I tried something else here as a substitute later in the trip PROSCIUTTO PROVOLONE CROISSANT: -- buttery -- not heated up -- medium sized -- soft flaky croissant flatter, not airy -- nice quality pastry -- lightly loaded inside but good balance of inserts to bread -- a good light snack to save belly for our Italiano dinner RATING = A- We snuck in at the last moment apparently as we were nearly cut off from lining up at the bar at 9:29pm. We ordered the "ESPRESSO MARTINI FLIGHT" for $25.00. CHERRY LIMONE (LEMON/CHERRY): -- very cherry forward -- partial slices of fresh lemon rind -- not too tart, tad bitter -- it works RATING = A- MOLE SPICE: -- tiny cacao bean shrapnel on top -- moderately plus spicy overpowers the chocolate -- okay but weakest of the bunch RATING = B+ ORANGE CACAO: -- cut slice of orange rind -- clear orange on sniff and taste -- my fave of the three -- all 3 had creamy heads to them RATING = A DAY 2: NITRO COLD BREW w/UBE COCONUT WHIP ADDED ON TOP: -- very pretty visually -- initially the slow sipping for nitro drinking worked and I got a balance of everything in my mouth but then I mostly just tasted coffee....so I stirred it up and agitated it to blend it better and it improved -- not an item I would order often -- 2" foamy head RATING = A- RASPBERRY MASCARPONE CHEESECAKE: -- semi-firm exterior -- big price around $11.00 plus -- medium-sized -- bone/ecru coloring -- 5 fresh raspberries on top with a slice of dark chocolate -- thin shortbread crust was fragile and not thick enough, but I love the shortbread vs. graham cracker idea -- texture is layered and dense -- it is not NYC style nor Chicago style w/mascarpone but closer to Chicago style than NYC -- very creamy -- I tend to prefer ricotta cheesecake or Chicago style, but this is nice and anything is better than firm heavy brick dense NYC style RATING = A- The wife grabbed a fresh bag of the "Chicago" beans that we sampled on day one. It was a smooth tasty cup. The seating is great here if you can get it. Weekends are "sold out" almost so pick your time carefully and cross your fingers.

Located on Michigan Ave, it is BUSY and garage parking is really the only way to park, so I'd prepare to walk or use public transport to get here. Spanning 4 floors of Willy Wonka-esque coffee brilliance, you could spend hours just taking it all in! With different menus available on each floor, and a fully loaded bar on the top, you really should plan to walk around before making a decision on what to drink! A wide and diverse cast of characters staff the many spaces and you can tell they LOVE their jobs! You can learn so much from their expertise! On this trip, we enjoyed the Tiramisu Latte and the Salted Caramel Bianco Latte. Both were scrumptious, dessert-style drinks that we enjoyed sipping in the sun from the large windows! It's great to have site-specific drinks that you can't get at standard Starbucks locations. Come early, have patience as lines will absolutely happen, but well worth the stop if you're a fan of coffee or the Starbucks brand.
