@ Lorenzo Manor Shopping Center 17756 Hesperian Blvd…read more San Lorenzo, CA 94580 "H & P Brand Names for Less" is a great place for bargain hunters! That's after you get over the initial shock at seeing how messy and unorganized the place is. After 5-10 mins, you get a sense of where things are and just start exploring the place. The staff are really nice and helpful. They want to make a sale to get merchandise out the door. The first time I came here was near closing time, and they asked me to come back. So I came back as a bargain hunter. I read the positive Yelp reviews, and decided to explore the place. I spotted a "14-Cup Cuisinart Programmable Coffee Maker," priced at $59. FYI, the price tag isn't the final price. The lady mgr made me an offer.....open box-$25, sealed box -$35. I asked for the sealed box. She said I can open the box and inspect it before I pay. We opened it together, and it was brand new. She said full refund if I return it within a week. Took it home, it works fine. If you have the time, come by and explore this place.

Quality/Quantity - If you followed in the past (years ago), I was a fairly loyal customer. But now, I keep saying I am NOT a customer any more, but here I am again... Well, I just needed one thing, and they actually had it! Your locations in Reno did NOT carry these travel toothbrushes. Decent size to huge location. Atmosphere - Again, decent size location. Plenty of parking. Well not for all the customers here. Open 7 days a week from 8am to 9pm. Service - Self service. Price - $1.25+; I only come here for the $1.25 items. Owner Comment - Congrats on your success since 1953 with 15,288+ locations (8000 of which are Dollar Trees). I did not know that Family Dollar "merged" with you in 2021. Tiny shopping center with an EVgo - very convenient to charge and get that item you are missing at home. The Dollar store is large. Lots of items - craft, automotive, decoration, party type things - plastic plates and platters - a lot of the stuff I tend not to keep on hand. Next door is donuts and a Mexican grocery store. Good if you want to spend time at the EVgo and not go to Dollar Store.

So much to look through. Shoes, dresses, jeans, purses, misc. home, sports items. They do not have a fitting room and all sales are final. If you plan on looking for clothes, I suggest in wearing fitted clothes (leggings, biker shorts, tank top) to try on the clothes over that. They have several mirrors where you'll find people posted up doing the same. I've found some really great deals here. Make sure to check your clothing for any holes, stains, rips at the seams! Staff have been helpful the times I've had interactions with them which is mainly at checkout-- they direct you at the self check out machines which are straight to the point and you see the immediate markdowns if items are discounted. If you need help, staff can guide you with that process. Only issues I've had is parking! It can get backed some days and I've parked on the street. Also, they are closed on Sundays!

Always grab a cart because there is so much good stuff. Or not-up to you. I like to peruse almost every aisle, looking at each item of clothing- I got a whole system down. Of course I'm paying attention to the color tag sale of the day, but if it's cute, it's going in the cart. The women's section is great but the men's section is good too. Their racks are packed full. They don't have fitting rooms but there are mirrors if you'd want to pull something over your clothes to try on. What's great is that they also have bathrooms. Very convenient especially when you're shopping a long time. The store also has kids clothes, shoes, small furniture, housewares, toys etc. Did I mention they have a lot of stuff? The store is clean, organized and the employees are friendly. Some items can be pricey, sure, but it's all about rummaging through to find those hidden gems and getting a good deal. I think it's fun. I truly love this place and always come back when I'm in town.

And I am going to check out your regular Costco in Hayward also on my next visit. Quality/Quantity - I like visiting the Business Costco because they have slightly different items from regular Costcos. And I sometimes discover some GREAT finds. Well, not today. I like buying your commercial kitchenware from this location. Good quality and reasonable prices. No fresh seafood at this location. No food court. Actually, very limited departments. Just noticed that I do not have many pictures for this location; I will change that on my next visit. Atmosphere - They added gas to this location in April of 2022. Makes parking slightly harder, but I like to walk. Neat and organized; actually, it is even more spacious than I remember from my last visits. Service - Consistent. Price - I never check.
