Quality/Quantity - This review is just for a quick return my wife did. Atmosphere - Decent size location. Mall parking, fairly crowded as the majority of the active businesses are in the same area. Bayfair mall closed... Look how far back I had to park, see picture. Service - Good, easy in and out. No problems with the return. Price - N/A, my wife did a return. Owner Comment - Congrats on your success since 1962 (1902 corporation founded), and for being the 8th largest retailer in the US. 2000 - Renamed company to Target Corporation. 2015 - CVS acquires Target's pharmacies.

When I have to go to Target, this is the main one I go to!! This Target is located at the Bayfair Center, and it's probably the biggest store there. One thing about Target, you know what your getting when you go in. I go here mainly for the essential clothing items, like socks and tees. Some of their food items are cheaper than the grocery stores. And their athletic gear can be inexpensive also. This store is about medium size, so it's not too hard to find what you're looking for here. Works for me!!

Drive Up Pickup is the only way to go

Liliana in Guest Services is/was AMAZING! We crossed the bridge to come all the way to Bayfair Target one day before Halloween bc this was the ONLY location within a hundred mile radius that had what I needed. I placed my drive-up pickup at 2:30am bc insomnia. And per the app notification at 7:30am: my order would be ready for pickup shortly after the store opened at 8am. Just to be sure that I wasn't paying toll for nothing, I called Guest Services to confirm that my order was in fact ready and available or pickup. Great, everything is there says the friendly guy on the phone. I'm like are you SURE and he's like ya it's literally all in the bag. So I drag my Hubbz across the dadgum bridge in the middle of Friday afternoon rush hour (I didn't even know this was a thing during Covid bc I've not gone across this bridge since Shelter In Place 7 months prior!!!). We get there, I pull up to the clearly marked parking stall and tap my Target app that we've arrived. A couple quick minutes go by and a young lady comes out with my lil bag of stuff. She loads it up in the back and I wait til she walks away to go retrieve it. Typically I LOVE Target curbside pickup bc I don't go inside for Nathan. But this contactless shit has its drawbacks. I open up the bag and OF FRIKKIN COURSE an item from the "set" is missing. FACEPALM!!! If you're familiar with Target mobile app/online purchases, you can't return / "fix" any issues encountered for a minimum of 24 hours after pickup. So once the drive-up clerk checks you in, without you physically inspecting your bag first, you're SCREWED for at least another day. Now I'm calling back Guest Services while still in the parking lot bc I'm not gonna go inside during a pandemic. And they're super busy I guess since nobody is answering. For like a whole 10 dadgum minutes I keep trying to call back. Anyway fast forward to Liliana tapping on my window asking me if my name was something inaudible. No, I tell her. BUT I do have an issue with my current order that I just received. She was super polite and accommodating. She excused herself to go handle the guest that actually did just drive up for their order then comes right back to me to see how she can help. Longer story kind short-ish, she gets her sup on the walkit like I talkit and asks what can be done to remedy my current sitch. Rather than returning half of the set I received, I chose to keep it and improvise with whatever I could scrounge at home. But they ever so graciously offered me a gift card for my toll troubles. Liliana with all sense of urgency dashes back in to retrieve the approved gift card and brings it right back out to me. And we skeedadle on home. Thanks oodles for saving the day, Liliana!

1:00 pm on a Thursday afternoon. Parking lot was pretty full and cars tend to park outside their lines. Not too bad for mid-day. Store was well stocked with products and pretty organized. Only 2 lines were open so the checkout process took a little long. Sensor was left on my cycling shorts by cashier and had to return to her then wait to have it removed. On a positive note I scored a beautiful tie dye sweater for under $8. Overall I love Target and all the great finds. This specific location is definitely not my favorite but I was in the area.

Key holders always take 10+ minutes everyday . Everything is locked up they need ti have more key holders to open the items for us.

We got rid of all and everything, so we needed to buy new furnitures. Found NWCF on yelp and Tim was the one who helped us. He was so patient and helpful! Prior to coming here, we eye shopped at other shops, one of them being Scandinavian Designs. We fell in love with one of their bed frame that was made in Italy, but it was too pricey. No natter how many other bed frames we looked at, we couldn't settle. So, just for the sake of it, we asked Tim if they might have a similar bed frame we saw at Scandinavian Designs. And to our surprise, they did! We purchased : Bed frame + king sized mattress (we absolutely love!) Dining table (love the marble top table, but the chairs that came with it appears cheaply made. The legs keep unscrewing, making it wobbly and flimsy to sit) Sofa set (husband likes it and says it's comfy since it reclines, but not to my liking. It hurts my back and is not comfortable at all.) Coffee table (the top can be adjusted higher and comes with 4 storage chairs) 2 rugs (my dog really likes it) Wine rack (money wasted) Tv stand (stylish and nice) Delivery was included as well as the assembly of everything. Most of the furnitures were delivered on time, except, the bed frame took forever to come and our firm mattress was delivered as a plush. It appeared the company that the bed frame was ordered from kept delaying the delivery date so we had to sleep on the plush mattress for a week or two with box springs that NWCF let us borrow. The owner, Ethan, made sure to keep us updated through all the delays and did change out the plush to a firm mattress. Finally, after several weeks, our bed frame was delivered. The guys who delivered it assembled the bed for us nicely. At the same time, they had to change out our dining table because we noticed the corner edge was broken off. The initial customer service experience was great, but im leaving 3 stars because Im disappointed that an agreement was not honored. When we first made all these purchases, I asked Tim if something did not work out even after couple months, if they would be able to take it back. We were told that they pride themselves in customer service, but if it goes over a certain period of time, usually no, BUT he would make an exception for us. Clearly, that doesn't seem like the case... I understand it's been over 5months, but the wine rack ended up not being a good fit. Many of my wine bottles don't fit as well as all my wine glasses don't fit either. So basically, it's not serving its purpose. Called recently and asked if we could return/exchange to something else, but was denied because the original box has been thrown away and it took over 2 hrs to assemble. So very disappointed.

Ordering to delivery went smooth- I was able to get my furniture within a couple of days of ordering, and the delivery crew was on time, and very courteous. Pricing was fair - they undercut the competition by $75. I saw the same exact piece of furniture at another store, and was going to order from them until I went to see Ethan.

Upon moving the tall dresser in our bedroom not even 2 feet, the leg broke off. I called DFW and their 1st response was "Oh your dresser is not under warranty." Of course I was mad and said that it was ridiculous and POOR POOR quality for the leg to just break off and only had the furniture for 4 months!!! Mind you my previous bedroom set I got rid of I had for over 25 years - Cherry wood (the real wood). Of course I regretted buying this furniture. So with some back and forth the guy says bring the dresser to us and they will ship to manufacturer and "see what they can do". Not reassuring. So my husband took the dresser down on a Tuesday, then the people at the warehouse say, we need you to bring it back on Thursday, as if they couldn't just store 1 broke dresser for 2 days, but whatever. So they send it back, the guys says the dresser should be ready in 2 weeks. 4 weeks go by, no word from them, so I call, the guy at DFW says oh let me check and can I call him back. I said no, you have had my dresser for over a month, and have made no attempt to give me a courtesy call and I expected him to call me back especially since it had been over 4 weeks it was with manufacturer. Overall, the quality of furniture is POOR, and cheaply made, I think Ikea might of offered some better quality furniture. I would not recommend DFW for furniture to anyone. I didn't like that they were quick to be dismissive and had to go back and forth about getting the 4 month old dresser to be returned and fixed, and on top of everything they didn't even try to offer me nothing.

I came here for a couch and I had a budget ready. Thankfully this store allows negotiating, because the couch I wanted was WAY OVER the price that I was looking for. The couch I saw was $2600 - Ashley Tisdale 6 piece sectional with 2 recliner , 1 love seat. My budget was $1900, since the couch I bought from Costco didn't work out, and thankfully they allowed me to return it... The owner of the store made a deal with me, and bought the price down to $2000 and free delivery if you lived in San Leandro area. The only downside about this is that 1) no returns 2) measurements must be accurate, so you know if it'll fit in your living space 3) cash for a better discounted price I'm glad I was able to purchase my forever couch :) During the deliver, the kind men brought it in and pieced it together ! After not hearing anything, we called to confirm and were told delivery would be on April 25th. My mom waited all day no one showed up and there was no communication. On April 27th, we went into the store and spoke with an older gentleman who apologized and said the black box springs were out of stock, which is why delivery didn't happen. He promised they would be delivered that same evening. After waiting all evening, the delivery finally arrived close to 9 PM but they only brought ONE box spring, even though we purchased two. The next day (April 28th), I called and was told the missing box spring would be delivered that evening. Again, my mom waited all day and no delivery and no call. On April 29th, I called again and was told it would be delivered that evening between 6:30-8:00 PM. Once again, no delivery and no communication. On April 30th, my son called to follow up yet again, explaining how many days my mom had wasted waiting. We were then told it would be delivered that day but that someone needed to be there to help the delivery driver because he is elderly and couldn't carry the box spring on his own. This was extremely frustrating. My mom is also elderly and specifically paid for delivery service so she wouldn't have to deal with situations like this or find someone to help. The delivery was finally completed on April 30th, but the entire experience was unacceptable. The lack of communication, repeated missed deliveries, and unreasonable expectations placed on the customer made this a very frustrating and exhausting process. I would not recommend this store based on our experience.

Now they are giving me another delivery time tomorrow Sunday at 12pm but I don't understand why we can't just pick it up ourselves when I told them we have a truck ... these people are sick and unprofessional! do not pay cash just only pay with card so when you have problems like this with them you can contact your bank to stop that payment and get your money back because now we won't even get our money back and I don't know when they will ever deliver the merchandise I purchased! The people at this place are very pleasant when they are trying to sell you something or if you go in person to talk to them about an issue in front of prospective buyers. Otherwise, they are EXTREMELY RUDE!!!! I had problems with delivery, paint damage, (I was told to buy some paint and paint it myself!!!), I purchased a BRAND NEW bedroom set, NOT a used one!! and the bed makes a lot of noise since day one!!! They sent someone to "fix it". They tighten the screws but it did not work and they have not taken reponsability AFTER TWO YEARS!!! Last month, October 2022, I went in person and they were supposed to call me back. They didn't. They even took a copy of my invoice. I called a week ago and they said they only give a 30 day warranty on bedroom sets and a 90 day on sofas and other furniture. I thought on contacting the manufacturer and see if they can help me or give me an idea on how to solve this problem. So, I asked if they could give me the name of the manufacturer. They said NO!! They totally refused!! My suggestion to anyone, spend a little more but make sure people you will get good customer service and more than anything else, GOOD QUALITY, WARRANTY on the furniture you buy.
