While they have more shoes out on the racks, I feel like the hidden gem is harder to find. The shorts, hoodie and crew neck selection has been pretty solid lately as well. I lot of them are in the $19-30 range. My workout shirt wardrobe needed a refresh, I was able to find a bunch for $14-20. Since they cater to the local fashion (big people and small people wearing big clothes), most of the sizes are REAL BIG- like XL is a "small" there. I am pretty into the recent trend of putting prints on everything, so this is a great place for me. I just bought a hoodie with skulls all over it to match the rest of my clothes with skulls all over it. Panjsheer Bazaar itself isn't big, but it takes up two retail spaces in the Durant Market mall. They've been in business for around 20 years. The proprietors don't speak great English, but they are pretty friendly. Durant Market is a bit like an indoor flea market, or maybe one of those malls in East Asia- a whole bunch of large retail spaces with almost no walls separating them.

When you do call to get information no one ever seems to know what is going on with your order. Several orders were done incorrectly with no real reason to why they were. The owner, Cheryl, got extremely crabby on the phone when I called to complain. On one occasion I had even walked into the office as they were talking badly about a previous customer, Sleepy Hollow, and how difficult they were to work with. Very unprofessional! I went to do a return and the cashier was very quick and nice. They had a lot of items in their clearance area so i decided to check it out since the store was empty. They have about 5 fittings rooms which are really spacious. There was a pair of pants that had the clearance sticker fall off and the staff meme bed was kind enough to match the price to another similar pair. The customer service I received from the 2nd employee was exceptional. I got 9 pairs of pants for $125, talk about a steal! I would definitely return to this location on a weekday.

This one was at the edge of a mall and I came in here and found some sweaters for back to school. I eventually returned them because I found something better elsewhere. But, they are not too far from my job so this is an alternative to going all of the way to Alameda. It's fine, cute, kind of newish looking, and they had what I needed. It took way to long to find a dressing room and they only had one. Not the best, but it worked. I'd never try pants on there because I wouldn't want my sock to touch the floor. The biggest surprise was seeing all of the pallets that were stacked up against what used to be the entrance to the mall. I imagine that is to detour those who are so committed to breaking into something that they would need such a barrier. I'm tall so I got a kick at looking over the top and getting a glimpse into what used to be a great mall back in the day. One I didn't go to because... The people working there are quite helpful when you can find them. But all in all, it was fine!
