Dear Manny's Customer Service Department, I am writing to express my profound disappointment and frustration regarding a recent in-store experience that occurred on November 17, 2025 at the Hayward location As a loyal customer of your store for the past six years, I have consistently purchased footwear and apparel from your business. However, my experience this week has been unacceptable and has seriously damaged my willingness to shop with you again. Last week, I purchased a sweat suit for my child. When we realized it did not fit, I promptly returned to the store to exchange or return the unworn item. My request was an exchange for a bigger size by a staff member (a short gentleman with glasses) who cited the presence of a single piece of white lint on the suit as grounds for invalidating the exchange. The suit was never worn by my child, and the refusal to process an exchange over such a minor, superficial detail is unreasonable, shortsighted, and a complete disregard for customer satisfaction, especially for a long-standing customer. Mannys is a hidden gem in Hayward. I've been a customer over 20 years and they have also been welcoming and professional. Their sales associate are attentive and ready to help. I have not had a bad experience. It's nice to be remembered and treated like family when walking in. I have gotten several shoes from them and they do not disappoint. read more

Manny's Footexpress is one of the few sneaker boutiques in the Bay Area. They are legitimate as Nike SNKRS app mentioned them as authorized retailers for the Nike Tiffany AF1 release and the Air Jordan 17 Lightning low release. It must be noted Nike mentions that Manny's is located in San Francisco when it is not. I've been able to hit on a pair of Kobe 8's Venice Beach in one of their Kobe raffles and also bought a pair of Kobe 4's Olympics that was offered FCFS. Hopefully I'll be able to one day complete the Kobe nostalgia "quadfecta" when I'm able to finally obtain a pair of Kobe 5s and a pair of Kobe 6s. read more

Manny's Footexpress is discrete and you cannot tell it's a shoe store until you look carefully at the door and it is covered like Fort Knox for obvious reasons. They have a huge selection to choose from. They have OG to new Nikes which is great. Service isn't bad and you have a bunch of people lurking around which makes shopping awkward. Manny is the owner and knowledgeable about shoes. My only issue is the short exchange period not a return. The window is small and no exceptions. I would have continued to shop here but due to that incident I don't think k will be back. I'd rather shop at Nike directly or other big branded stores which makes exceptions. read more

I've NEVER had a bad experience at Manny's and have been a customer there for years. They have always treated me nicely, always willing to help me when I have questions or need a size. I've seen a lot of comments about Manny's selling fakes. People, please do your research before making false accusations and statements. Manny's has a contract with Nike and most other brands they sell in the store. I only go to trusted places for my kicks and Manny's will be forever one of those places. It's unfortunate that some of you have had bad experiences here and hopefully Manny's can take that as constructive criticism and make any changes necessary. I have had great experiences at manny's and they are accessible through instagram. I got the red panda dunks here and will be getting another shoe tomorrow. Anyone who claims that manny's sells fakes has no idea what they are talking about. They are an authorized nike partner nbhd store. The store is very minimalistic but it does the job. Came here multiple times, service was poor got ignored walking around the store, nobody asked if I needed any help. Everyone had a poor attitude. You can't buy any of their Nike jogger sets in different sizes they force you to buy everything in the same size. Better off going to Footlocker etc for most of the stuff they sell here. read more

Too much stuff everywhere. They really need to clean it up. The owner, Manny only treats you good if you are famous. I stepped into the store one day with a friend of arabic decent who spoke the same language as them and they were overheard saying to watch me because I might steal. I heard good things about Manny's so i was excited to check it out after a haircut nearby. What i walked into was not what i expected. The store is very unorganized, boxes upon boxes everywhere all over the floors. I had to walk through a maze of boxes just to get to the shoe sections. The selection wasn't bad but the customer service was horrible. I asked to try on a pair of shoes and had to wait over 10 minutes to even get there attention. I ended up just walking out. It seems "Manny" the short man behind the counter only cares about his regular customers that come and buy in bulk.
