The service is absolutely horrid. I came in trying to sell some things, and one of the workers was being very rude. Meanwhile the other one actually was being genuine and helping me out, the other one kept on taking my shoes and thinking they're fake and asking me a bunch of questions about them, even after i showed him images of me getting the shoes at a different store and proof he still kept on examining the shoes to see if they're fake. He ended up giving me an extremely low offer, but we settled onto store credit of $180. I decided to get some Yeezy slides, and once I looked at them the price was astronomical. They were charging well over resale price for a pair of Yeezy slides. A pair of shoes that costs maybe $120 they have it at $220. I decided to go and get them either way because I needed them and wasn't trying to go around to find them. The other worker then ended helping me out and was kind enough to just do a straight trade. Never the less they're prices are WAYYYYYY to high. A NIKE ski mask there costs $75. When in Nike stores is like 20-25. read more

First time shopping at ASSIST and these guys took care of me and my wife. Greeted us as soon as we walked in asked if we wanted to try anything on. They had a good selection of shoes. Some on the higher end which is normal for any shoe store, and they also had Steals. They're used section is awesome and they even bought my Jordan 4 AMM for above payout. All negative reviews on these guys are probably just haters or just cry babies that didn't get what they wanted. read more

Located next to wing stop. They finally took their boards down so its easier to find. Staff were helpful. I was looking for shoes for my boyfriend and they were able to find the one I needed. Everyone had masks, signs posted, and social distancing signs on the floor. Pricing was good for what you would pay at other shops. Assist helped with the Assist. We stood in line for the Black Friday deals they had (which were pretty good). Was going for the Air Jordan 1 Lost and Found and was able to cop a 12! They were amazing at communicating about were to be and where to line up. As we were waiting for them to open at noon, they posted some on their story of other deals that were happening. Staff is really friendly.. been in there a handful of times. Only problem is they charge way over market value for stuff. For example they want $450 for a pair of foam runners and the market value on stockx and goat rn are 320. I dont mind spending a little over market value but $130 mark up is too much in my opinion. They also do not offer even close to market value on shoes you bring in.. they will try to offer you half of what the shoes are worth so that they can get more profit when they sell. Overall I would recommend buying from goat or stockx before going in here, 9/10 youll get a better deal on those sites if you dont mind waiting a week for the item to get to you. Shop has potential but they need to stop overcharging on items they sell and lowballing on items that people bring in. Tbh with all the competition in that particular business, they should sell shoes a little cheaper than stockx and other sites to compete with those businesses. Sole Supremacy in Newark offer a little bit better deals than these guys. read more

This place sucks ! People were so rude ! Tried a pair of shoes on, went to the mirror to see how they look the employee told me to stay in the grass. Which was a fake piece of grass like okay dude put a fuckin mirror in front of your little grass patch so I can see how the shoes look. They should place the mirror in a place where people who want to try on shoes can look to see how they look. Would recommend going to The Fix Kicks in Santa Clara it's way better ! If you come here to sell your shoes they will lowball you (offered me retail for some ds bred 11s ) 3 stars cause my gf sold a handful of shoes here that she wore once or twice and they posted them a few days later as brand new (on their old IG that got deleted).
