Love this little gem in Castro Valley & I hope the community can support this wonderful establishment. Customer service & a warm smile still exists at Unincorporated & that's what I love about local stores. Since my brother moved to CV, I decided to gift him the Unincorpoated T-shirt & hat. He loves it! Today I stopped by to get my daughter her high school zip up hoodie. It's great to be able to buy her High School logo hoodie off season & the owner says some of the proceeds goes back to the high school, so that is wonderful to hear. In hopes of supporting local businesses' like these, I hope Unincorporated stays afloat for years to come. read more

While in Castro Valley for a few meetings I finally stopped inside Unincorporated. Having family and friends in Castro Valley, I've heard so much about this spot. It's rare finding gems in places you or loved ones grew up that have recently popped up, but being born and raised in the East Bay, this spot reigns supreme. I love the node to nostalgic CV spots and pride through cool prints and tees. Also love the special shoutouts to all the unincorporated areas of the East Bay. Super cool to feel the love, see the love, and also see other local artists being supported with their work in the shop. Chatting with the staff, it's awesome to hear how integrated with the community Unincorporated already is hosting shop nights for schools in the area and run clubs alike. Love the vibe, the people, the clothing collections for all ~ I felt a great sense of value for the quality, vision, time, and creativity put into the overall looks. Will definitely support this local brand doing these Unincorporated spots right in having them be seen and appreciated ~ have fun swag to show our CV born and bred buddies next time we're in town, see pics for a preview! I no longer need to drive to Santana Row to purchase Marine Layer and Vuori! YAY! I must not get out of the house alot but stumbled upon Unincorporated Castro Valley on my way to buy an Iced Mint Mojito from Philz. I was delighted to find my favorite brands locally and close to home! All the items here I literally just saw at the mall. The store has great quality and value of clothes from Z supply, Marine Layer Vuori and more! They even have awesome Castro Valley shirts. The service was wonderful! The owner helped me and out and told me about all the cool stuff he just ordered for the store. Can't wait to come back and do some more shopping read more

Thoughtful design, high quality products and a welcoming owner makes for a positive shopping experience! The fitting rooms are spacious , well lit and comfortable, down to the soft rug and seating. The space is airy and there's a beautiful selection of buttery soft clothing. Pair that with a wide array of sizes that fit comfortably, you are sure to find something casually elegant. Prices are higher than maybe CV is "used to", but the quality is evident. I purchased a few pieces and know they will become staple items in my wardrobe. This place has very quickly become my favorite men's clothing boutique in the East Bay, and possibly in the greater Bay Area. Great selection of a good number of different brands, great quality items but not overly expensive. Some good standards and also great seasonal stuff. I got a really nice Marine Layer resort/leisure wear outfit that I have been rocking every weekend this summer. The proprietor is super nice and knowledgeable, has great style and great staging skills, and is an East Bay native. The place is just lovely to hang out in and talk shop. read more
