The store is clean and well organized. I've been coming to this boutique for a little over a year now. I enjoying looking my best and ON THE RUNWAY allows me to do just that. If you exude confidents this is the place for you. The jumpsuits I have purchased here are KILLER! As one of the post mentioned most of the clothing is club wear, nothing really to wear to work (however I did get a beautiful pleated skirt off the $10 rack). But to look fabulous for a Friday night date or sassy for a Sunday brunch; get on down there. I like to address a couple of things mentioned in the post. Ive never had to take anything to be repaired. Ive never seen anything they had at another boutique in the area (and there are few others good ones in the area walking distance). Far as pricing I feel as though within budget. I am not into having GUCCI, CHANEL or any other label plastered across my chest I am not a walking billboard. When I walk in I feel like family, the sales associate always mentions other items that I might like and if they have it in my size. I believe its the owner gives me a straight answer as to if she's going to get more of the item that I am interested in, or ain't no more. This was my first time going to this beautiful boutique the owner was so nice and respectful and she showed me good customer service. I am plus size but she made me feel good and knowing I can fit smaller sizes was even better, this shop had really pretty clothes like I was so happy to see good fashion from dressing up to dress down. I had a big family reunion coming up in Florida and wanted my smile to dazzle. But I didn't have a lot of time, or a lot of money. So what did I do? I called Ebonee at Brighter Smiles in San Leandro. She got me in right away for a three session laser tooth whitening treatment. Now, to be clear, all three sessions happen back to back, so expect to be there a little over an hour. And a word to the wise: tooth whitening can create some temporary sensitivity in your teeth - it's just the nature of the beast - but usually goes away after 2-3 days, once the tooth dentin "closes up" again. So be sure to have some Orajel or something soothing on hand for afterwards. My gums and teeth definitely felt a little sensitive (and hey, they just spent an hour more or less with a professional strength whitening solution on them, so they *should* feel a bit tender) but one dose of Orajel was all it took to feel like my old self. And it was definitely worth it! I went in with light yellow teeth, and came out with, not brilliant white, but definitely, noticeably, fabulously whiter teeth! I knew I wasn't going to get blinding white in only 1 hr., but I'm certainly several shades whiter. I love my smile - thank you, Ebonee! I'll be heading back for a second round of three sessions just before the holidays, so my smile can sparkle as much as the champagne in my New Year's toast. read more

I came to this Boutique because I was going to celebrate my B-day and wanted something unique and nice. Well I didn't like the fact that they have a sign on the fitting room stating if you damage one of the garments you will have to pay for it.... But the dress that I like had missing rhinestones and strings that were slightly pulled. I think that is just too much the clothes comes from L.A. come on so just decided to not try it on and left. I was hestitant about reviewing this place because I dont want other females to shop here and start having the exact same thing as me but I love this place so much I have to write a review. The owner is very friendly, she also owns Darling Divas which is right down the street. Everything that I have bought from this boutique has been on the top of my friends list of what they need to go pick-up unfortunately I tell them that I got in LA or some place I know they will not go to any time soon. Judging by previous reviews and a fact that they don't even refund your money and try to leave Customers with having their clothing repaired rather than give them store credit... This is in multiple reviews I however have never bought him cloth there; I most certainly never would even have somebody offered to buy them for my girlfriend or a femail friend... i'm not even here to complain about their clothes although they do look like they will fall apart but this place is also a UPS drop off and pick up a location however they are completely on equipped to do this job. I had a package delivered there and spent over a week trying to pick it up because I was repeatedly told it was there by employees at which point later I would show up and they would go and look for my package and it would not be there. This one on for a week and a half. At one point the owner told me that they are not responsible for what UPS does... Fair enough; are your employees also responsible for lying to people and telling them their packages are there or is that UPS's fault too. Your store needs to be reported to the Better Business Bureau not to mention I was in there one night again for no reason because I was a lied to a 2nd time (out of 4) that time and I had to speak with the manager because the staff was all drunk on wine! I wish I had taken a video or a picture; it is truly unbelievable... horrible store who is incredibly rude staff that has no business being a package drop off or pick up location considering they can't even run their own business properly. Who lets their employees get drunk in the store while it's still open? read more

Like Diva Darlings this place has an ok clothing selection (it's like Divas Darlings clothes but more upscale) and great accessories. The only thing I really really didn't like was being barge in on from one the the stylist while I was trying on clothes in the dressing room (it might have been because I took awhile and she probably thought i was trying to shoplift..... sorry but i stick to buying things from small business to support them and they're not cheap so I take my time.... I buy investment pieces not just clothes that can be worn and then toss after a few uses. I can go to a thrift store for that). Still though, I'd still come back. read more

I often pass by the store and would see some cute clothes in the window. I decided to stop in the store last week to browse around. The store was very nice inside, there is a variety of clothing options, accessories and shoes to choose from. I did notice that the clothes were a little over-priced. A lot of the clothing items and accessories can be found online for half the price. However, I was proud to see that the store was owned by two black women and I wanted to support the business, so I ended up spending $400 in the store. I bought my clothes Friday and decided to wear a couple of the pieces I bought on Saturday since I was going out that night. I put on the pair of pants and jacket I purchased and the button on the paints immediately fell off, before I could even put them on all the way. My friend noticed a tear on the sleeve of the jacket. I returned to the store next business day with my items and spoke with one of the store owners, showing her the damaged items. Now, on the receipt it states that you cannot get a refund, but you can get store credit. The owner was reluctant to give me store credit. She told me that "she needed to talk to the other store owner to see what she can do, that they could not fix the items and that she could give me $20 store credit." That did not sit well with me at all, I spent $20 alone on the pants and close to $70 on the jacket and all she was offering me is $20! Wow!! Then she proceeds to tell me to take the clothing items to the cleaners to have them fixed- I was highly annoyed. I asked her, "why should I have to take these items to the cleaners and pay money to get them fixed? I just bought these clothes". She proceeded to tell me the name of the cleaners to take them to and to bring her back the bill. It seems as if this is common practice of theirs to send customers to the cleaners to get the clothes repaired, instead of giving customers store credit. So unprofessional!! Since she refused to take the items back, I had no choice but to take them to the cleaners she recommended ( I spent money so I wanted to wear what I bought). When I dropped the clothes off at the cleaners, the owner told me this happens a lot. Customers' who purchase clothes from the store end up having to take the clothes to the cleaners right away to be fixed. She even showed me some clothes customers' brought in recently that were just purchased. I was flabbergasted and thought to myself, "what kind of business are they running." I ended up paying the bill myself, I wanted nothing more to do with this store. Final thoughts: I will never step foot in this store again, they have lost a customer. The young lady would helped me was helpful which made shopping a breeze But what kills me is how ppl rant about supporting black busineeses yet the professionalism is lackluster and/or none exsistant. Never have I felt so awkward shopping then the day I choose to shop here. As I came in I'm assuming during lunch hour. The lady was enjoying her meal behind the counter. Just scarfing down her food during business hours. What ever happened to a break room?! I've visited many times. I had some good experiences mostly bad . they've seemed to revamp the store & change up the kind of women they hire as the previous women were flat out just mean spirited. This place is very ghetto from the owner on down to the employees. Alot of the items they sell in this boutique I've seen at the mall for at least 50% cheaper than what the owner wants for it. The quality of the clothing is very poor, not in style or either is not in season. A friend of mine had an item she'd purchased from there repaired by them and it took them months to get it done. There's tons of other boutiques in the area such as Candy's, Isha Couture and Leopard Legz that would be able to provide you with better customer service and much better quality clothes that you'd be able to appreciate. read more

Stephanie, the owner was so friendly and anxious to help me spending much time even though I'd never worked with her in the past. I told her I was on a tight budget but wanted something special, not store bought, etc. She told me about every style, design, colors all within my price range. Her help and patience allowed me to come up with the note cards and envelopes that were so fitting for what I had in mind. I was certainly happy to send them out to those concerned. Very prompt service, as she promised. My overall experience was wonderful like older times when people were happy to help you, not like they were late for their break.
