The parking lot was packed. We were waiting for people to leave to get a spot. When we left there were several spots open in the back right side. If I recall correctly they have bathrooms, but you need the code. The line..... was to the back of the store. Extra long. They had most of the registers open so it kept moving, but it was long. It's always long, not like this. That is one thing I dislike about the store is the lines. They used to have remote checkouts. They would have kiosks throughout the store where you can check out on your own or with the help of an associate, but they don't have that anymore. Selection- We were here looking for clothing for our teenage nephews. We found two tops for one. Lucky and Quicksilver. Both really nice and after opening it on Christmas we learned that he approved. For the other nephew we got him pants. We picked out a nice pair of Addis sweatpants and he really liked it and they actually fit. The size smalls aren't all the same. He's got a tiny waist so it's hard to find him pants. Those Addis ones were the right side and fashionable. There was so much more we could have shopped for, but with the line to the back of the store we had to keep going and get out of there. I really liked there selection of clothing. I still find them pricy at times, but you can find really good deals too. The issue I have is most of the clothing is made for the Rack. They aren't discontinued or discounted regular Nordstroms clothing so you are getting what you pay for. And if you're ok with that then this is the store for you. I've gotten some really nice pieces here and so has my husband. I'd come back, but only when I had more time and it's not during the holiday rush.

Went here and found two good options - I was very impressed at that selection. Shopping in the area through Covid had become almost unpleasant at some points in time - I'm glad to see all that is over with at least at this store. I just went in for a quick purchase - but I will be back for more soon. I haven't…read moreshopped for new clothes in a long time, and when I do, I almost exclusively shop online, but I needed some new items in a pinch, and decided to try the factory store, as I did not want to spend a lot. As it is a factory store, I expected substantially lower prices than the regular Ann Taylor retail stores, so I was rather surprised to find that prices are still quite high here as well. Ummmm, what's the point of a factory store then? I may as well go to the regular store. The store is organized well, neat, and clean, so that's great. The antithesis of the Nordstrom Rack in the same plaza, which I also checked out. The Rack was a disaster. Completely overwhelming, with a huge stock laid out in a very poorly organized fashion. I gave up on that place after a few minutes. But back to Ann Taylor. I found a pair of trousers I liked, and ended up purchasing, but nothing else. There was nothing appealing whatsoever amongst the tops. Unflattering, baggy styles that instantly add 20lbs, way too many ugly, distracting patterns, etc. Who is designing these clothes, seriously? Can I have their job? I'm no expert, but I'm sure I could do better than this. My partner also commented that the designs were fugly, adding "and I'm a dude, I don't know anything about fashion." The staff were courteous and professional, the main reason I'm rounding up to three stars.

The shop isn't pretty or fancy, but his dresses are fabulous, made for a very specific demographic. He also does event planning, has party supplies, makes outrageous silk flower arrangements if you need that. He's the Latino Austin Scarlett of the quinceinera world. I do not need a quinceinera dress, being a middle aged white woman. I went for alterations. 18 bucks to bring in the waist on one pair of jeans and hem another pair. Done in a week! Was it the best tailoring job ever? No, but it was quick and cheap, and for jeans that I just wear on weekends I'm not that picky. I don't think I'd bring anything designer or really special to be tailored, but for a quick hem or tuck in the waist, it's fine.

As I was leaving a another dress place, Omar's exquisite window design caught my eye. Once we went in the store, I fell in love with a piece that Omar had custom made. He let us know that he custom makes dresses and outfits. He told my mom he could make her dress and he pulled out the swatch book. All he asks is that you pay half the total item amount in order for him to make your item. He said doesn't take him long to do the dress, so give him a date and he'll have it ready. I revisited this store over the holidays after a 6-7 year of not. I'm not a huge fashion or shopping guy but over my adult years and knowing my sizes and fits, I just became loyal to certain brands that fit me well or have good luck finding my sizes and styles. Banana Rep is one brand that fills such mold. It just fits my basic taste and their sizings fits my particular body without any altering. I also find the fabric textures to be soothing yet sturdy. I heard Banana Republic is part of the GAP corportation, with Old Navy being the economic level, the Gap being the middle tier and Banana Republic being the higher tier. It always made sense to me. I like this location as it super convenient, the closest to me. It is also less busy as say the Livermore location which can get super tight inside. And on a weekday, this place is super conducive for me, very chill with easy parking. Now outlet shopping can be hit or miss. Sometimes you'll find something nice with a nice pricetag in tow, whilst other times you may find nothing. It's part of the hunt and fun. But I like to get a couple of things occasionally to keep the wardrobe fresh and tight. And this Banana Republic can be a part of that occasion. Giving a long due shout out.

The 50% off helps a lot. I still didn't find anything that caught my eye that was at a price I was willing to pay. They had some nice dresses and evening wear mostly for the New Years Celebrations. I also saw some pretty sweaters. We were mostly coming for my husband. He really likes Banana Republic. We found a pair of pants for his nephew that were comfy and actually fit him. He's got a very tiny waist so it's not easy to shop for him. Most of the pants didn't come in his size, but we found a pair that he approved of. We got it for him for Christmas and he was very happy with them. The store is well organized and is easy to decipher the men's versus women's sections. They even had suits for men. Full on suits, matching slacks and jackets, not just sports coats. They must be competing with Men's Warehouse next door. I was really surprised by finding a suit, the only issue is they don't do tailoring in store so you'd have to find a private Tailor. Returns are easy and quick. Even with it being the holidays the line goes really quick with two registers open. We bought a shirt for my other nephew that we thought he'd like and 50% off was a good deal. We bought it and then went next door to Nordstrom Rack. While at the Rack we found an even better shirt for him so while in line at the Rack we returned the one at Banana Republic and was in and out in a flash. On the other hand the line at the Rack was to the back of the store. So if you are on a time crunch this is the store for you.

I stopped by on a random Saturday afternoon because I noticed this place had a bunch of tables…read moreoutside and a small crowd. To my delight, there were so many awesome things for sale -- kitchenware, postcards, accessories, clothing, decor, etc. It was so fun looking through everything and things were very reasonably priced (no sticker shock like shopping at Goodwill these days!) and in good shape. The best part was the owner who was such a delightful lady! She was super fun and engaging all sorts of people in fun conversations. She was also so patient with a bunch of high school girls sorting through endless jewelry and checked in respectfully with everyone perusing. There seemed to be a few regulars who were also chatting it up with guests so it felt like a little warm, inviting community!
