She is altering the filipiniana dress that was ordered for me by a friend in the Philippines. It needs major help and Miss Glen is up for the task. Miss Glen makes sure you are up-to-date on the ordering process and fitting process. She is easy to contact and she return calls/messages in a timely manner. (He has the first and only so far to look as it does) Her team has extraordinary talent for hand-dying their fabrics and their embroidery is art with so much skill that is apparent from first glance. She is such a sweetheart and her communication is great. I met with her in person to go over the basics and get a price quote. Then over the many months she would call to check in, ask for inspirations of what I wanted and asked me to meet again for samples of curtain colors, floral centerpieces, etc. This was all happening during the mist of our tariff issues, and she was very transparent about having some upfront payments so she can lock in the price of a few items she needed to purchase. We needed more centerpieces ordered, we needed to change the start time by an hour and she adapted to all the changes. She is up-front with you that you can change layouts and designs but if you have a theme color change, please be courteous and let her know ASAP in case she needs to make more purchases. I came to Sari Palace last week at the recommendation of a friend and in hopes of supporting a local business. I came with my sister-in-law to purchase two blue-toned lehengas for a wedding in March. The owner kindly offered two outfits for me to try, both extremely large for me. I asked if they had ones that were closer to my size, but the owner kindly reassured me that they would be able to easily tailor it to my size. We purchased two lehengas, mine for over $400 and my sisters for over $500. Fast forward to pick up today. The initial adjustments were way off and the top way too big. The tailors there tried to adjust it again at which point the seams were way off center, which I brought to their attention. The seamstress then said that it is difficult to tailor this top because of the zipper on the side. I asked if they could try to make it more centered and symmetric. They tried again 3 more times, at which point I had lost all confidence in their ability to appropriately tailor the outfit. None of the seamstresses took accountability for the lack of quality in workmanship, and they tried to convince me that it looked fine. The latest iteration was closest to fitting but still completely off center per the images that I've posted. I asked if I could come back with my husband (to have a second set of eyes) to have it re-adjusted and they said they would charge me for it. Overall, I feel I did not get a product worth the amount I paid. I am left feeling like the owner clearly misled me into believing that the oversized lehenga would be easily tailored to fit me for the purpose of getting my money. The experience shows total lack of integrity, and I cannot recommend Sari Palace in good conscience. Don't waste your time or money.
