They like to have a grand wedding with lots of guests. We start looking at dresses and plan for all the other details for the wedding. My family booked the appointment on line . She honestly put done 2028 as the future wedding date. A $25 fee was required to come look at the wedding gowns . Then an older lady staff called her back . She sounded very upset that she wedding would be in 2028 and not this year . She told her that " if you don't have money to pay for the dress , you could bring cash to tip your stylist! You are not buying a wedding gown now , I don't know what to do with you ! " She was so rude over the phone . My family member is a licensed health care professional. She was just in shock. Since she has paid the $25 on line for the 1.5 hour appointment, we showed up at Janine bridal today at 10 am on a Saturday morning . We arrived 3 minutes before 10 am . Two Caucasian ladies walked in ahead of us. There were two older female staffs inside . One with blonde hair and the other taller lady staff has dark brown hair . The blonde hair lady looked at us , did not smile, did not say welcome to Jaime bridal , or good morning. They helped the two Caucasian ladies ahead of us . The front counter was left with a younger Asian female staff . Her name is Christina. She worked part time there and she was our stylist for this appointment . Christina is very sweet , patient and helpful. After she knew that was our first time looking at the wedding gowns, she gave us a 5 minutes introduction of the gowns and the basis set up of the bridal shop . Then we looked around and pulled 6 dresses to try . Christian helped to fix each gown and made suggestions like how to tailor it to make it look nicer on the bride -to- be . After one hour of try and error , we narrowed down to two wedding gowns that we love . Christina wrote done all the details , gave us a small card for the information. Then she mentioned the trunk show coming up at the end of January 2026 . But we are obligated to buy a wedding gown if we attend the trunk show . Today is January 3, 2026 Saturday. We would have a bad experience about Jaime Bridal from the way the other lady talked to my family member with the bitchy attitudes. Thanks to Christian , these have all changed . Customer service is the primary focus on retailer business . I am not sure how this could have been misinterpreted.

Limor listened to my general aesthetic (or lack thereof) and helped me find a dress that I feel great about and actually want to wear. I've lost a rather significant amount of weight in the last year and needed almost every skirt I…read moreowned taken in at the waist. However, I had been avoiding finding a tailor for months because I was so nervous! I have A LOT of skirts, most of which are no longer in production that I've bought secondhand, some of which that are very precious to me. I'd get anxiety just thinking about handing over some of my most beloved pieces to a stranger to cut up! I finally had to bite the bullet and find a tailor - almost all of my skirts had become entirely too big. The plan was once I had found a possible tailor, I would take in a couple skirts that weren't super precious as a test to see if I could trust them with the more special pieces. I'm so glad I found Ahmad and Samira! I had messaged a few tailors on Yelp for quotes. Of those that responded, Ahmad was one of the quickest to reply and was BY FAR the least expensive! Another tailor quoted me over $100 to take in the waist of a single circle skirt! Ahmad was super responsive and gave me a much more reasonable estimate, so I decided to give them a chance even though they only had a few reviews. I'm so glad I did! Samira listened to everything I had to say about my skirts, including that I prefer my skirt waists to be rather tight! I had also asked her to use the pockets of one skirt as a template to make pockets for the other two I had brought in and she did a great job - she even made sure to make them a more hidden style and took the time to find coordinating colored fabric so as not to distract from the patterns of the skirts themselves! I brought my three skirts in on Monday or Tuesday and all three were done by the end of the week! I was able to wear two of them that very weekend and got many compliments! I'm very confident that I can trust them with my extra special pieces and will be bringing in more skirts later this week! Also, my husband and six-year-old son picked up my first three skirts and despite my wild neurospicy child being EXTRA crazy when they were in the store despite my husband's best efforts to wrangle him (apologies again to Ahmad and Samira! It was at the end of a very long day), they were super patient and didn't complain or say anything. That's always a big big big plus in my book!

I spoke with Miss Camille, and she kindly confirmed that they had one size Large piece left in stock. We arrived early, and Miss Camille assisted us personally. She was very nice, pleasant, and helpful. She even suggested a few styles for my husband, which we truly appreciated. In the end, we purchased the exact Barong we originally came for. I have plenty of suits, but I specifically want to wear a Barong Tagalog. So when Adonis featured this place last year, I bookmarked it since their designs are specifically something that caught my attention. They have traditional designs, but they also have modern ones that incorporate the Philippine sun and the stars from the flag with a tribal flair. I came here on Easter Sunday, and the lovely saleslady was very helpful. She even asked how I found out about this place, so I replied that Adonis sent me. She immediately knew and responded, "Oh, I am Adonis...the vlogger" in a cute Filipino accent. She assisted me try out different Barongs and answered my many questions. All the Barongs are handmade in the Philippines and are exported here. The Barongs made from Pineapple or Piña threads are more expensive, while some are made from silk materials. Each design is expertly and intricately embroidered by artisans from Lumban, Laguna in the Philippines. The craftmanship is exceptionally well done. The different designs are quite impressive, and they are also available in different colors. In the past, most Barongs came in either white, cream or beige tones. Nowadays, it comes in different colorful hues, two-tone and even black. I almost chose the black-colored one, but I stuck with the traditional color with the same design. I still might get it just so I have two options. I've never had a Barong before, so this is my first purchase. I do have to mention that Philippines sizes are often different from U.S. sizes so you will have to adjust your expectations. Typically speaking, you might have to get an item two sizes bigger than your usual size. Having said that, Barongs are usually worn loosely due to the hotter climate in Philippines and the unfortunate history from the time of the Spanish occupation that Barongs must be made of see-through materials to prevent the wearer from concealing blades such as Bolos, Kris, Ginunting, Balisong and Karambit. Hey, I have to admit that we do love our blades and I even have an heirloom Bolo used during WWII passed down to me. This place also offers something for the ladies and kids (boys and girls). In fact, they have an abundant selection of gowns, Filipinianas and accessories. If you're looking for something traditional or with a modern twist, they got both covered. They also take special orders for a better fit. And the service was top notch. She was so accommodating that she even let our dogs wait inside the store since it was a warm day that day. I will definitely be back again to get another Barong or another accessory. Plus, the prices are reasonable especially for the quality of work they produce. Some are absolute masterpieces. I can't wait to wear this Barong and will do so with pride as I complete another milestone on this journey of life.

She isn't a salesperson -- she's an artist and a true expert in her craft. As she scanned the room for "the one", she actively listened to my vision and my budget. Every pull aligned with aspects of my style and was always within my budget, she didn't bring me anything above that budget. Her deep knowledge of alterations and construction also put me at ease instantly as a petite bride. I had an awful experience as well as my family and friends, she was rude to everyone. In the end I felt self conscious of how I looked, because she basically called me fat the entire time I was working with her, even my daughter chimed up and told her I was planning a surgery soon and my weight wouldn't be that much of an issue, Joanne didnt listen. Everyone was upset, mad, angry and insulted by the time we left.
