Last week, I went in for an appointment where I was greeted by Jenn, who was my consultant. She immediately offered my entourage and I some water. After sitting us down, she asked me some questions to get a better feel for the type of dress that I was looking for. Honestly, I had a wide range of silhouettes and designs that I was interested in and she never once judged me for it. I showed her photos of dresses that I found on their website and she was able to pull almost all of them, which was great! She practically knew exactly where each one was on the rack and immediately went to collect all the dresses to try on. Eventually after trying on all the dresses (anything from a simple and classy organza gown to a full princess ball gown), she pulled out a dress that she thought I might like. We shared a laugh over the fact that I had just tried the same dress on at the store I went to earlier that morning. Honestly became my fav out of all the dresses I tried on that day. She helped to put on a veil and handed me a bouquet so that I could get a better idea of how it would look on the big day. With all the hustle and bustle, I ended up going overtime on my appointment, but Jenn continued to help and never rushed me. In total, I think we tried on around 16 gowns that day. Although I didn't end up saying yes to a dress at J'aime, I'm so glad I went there. Jenn was truly such a joy to work with. Even though I'd never met her before, she felt like a best friend throughout the entire appointment. Literally your own personal hype girl that'll fill your appointment with smiles, laughs, and giggles. We came to look at bridal gowns for the first time . One of my family members got proposed to in December and they plan to have a wedding in Oahu in the year of 2028 . They like to have a grand wedding with lots of guests. We start looking at dresses and plan for all the other details for the wedding. My family booked the appointment on line . She honestly put done 2028 as the future wedding date. A $25 fee was required to come look at the wedding gowns . Then an older lady staff called her back . She sounded very upset that she wedding would be in 2028 and not this year . She told her that " if you don't have money to pay for the dress , you could bring cash to tip your stylist! You are not buying a wedding gown now , I don't know what to do with you ! " She was so rude over the phone . My family member is a licensed health care professional. She was just in shock. Since she has paid the $25 on line for the 1.5 hour appointment, we showed up at Janine bridal today at 10 am on a Saturday morning . We arrived 3 minutes before 10 am . Two Caucasian ladies walked in ahead of us. There were two older female staffs inside . One with blonde hair and the other taller lady staff has dark brown hair . The blonde hair lady looked at us , did not smile, did not say welcome to Jaime bridal , or good morning. They helped the two Caucasian ladies ahead of us . The front counter was left with a younger Asian female staff . Her name is Christina. She worked part time there and she was our stylist for this appointment . Christina is very sweet , patient and helpful. After she knew that was our first time looking at the wedding gowns, she gave us a 5 minutes introduction of the gowns and the basis set up of the bridal shop . Then we looked around and pulled 6 dresses to try . Christian helped to fix each gown and made suggestions like how to tailor it to make it look nicer on the bride -to- be . After one hour of try and error , we narrowed down to two wedding gowns that we love . Christina wrote done all the details , gave us a small card for the information. Then she mentioned the trunk show coming up at the end of January 2026 . But we are obligated to buy a wedding gown if we attend the trunk show . Today is January 3, 2026 Saturday. We would have a bad experience about Jaime Bridal from the way the other lady talked to my family member with the bitchy attitudes. Thanks to Christian , these have all changed . I'm usually not one to complain, but my previous appointment left me feeling frustrated, exhausted, and overall just not heard. From other Yelp reviews, I'm also surprised at the service I received despite raving reviews for Courtney. Especially since she's a senior stylist with 15 yoe. The dresses here have a good range of prices, and there were many I ended up trying. There were small things that added up into an overall unpleasant experience. Maybe it's a personality difference, but I felt like she was pushing back on my preferences or insisting I could compromise on wanting a reception dress and settle for a dress here. Overall, her feedback wasn't helpful in helping me find a dress I really liked, and it felt like she didn't want to be there. I'm putting time, money, and energy to be here with a stylist that wants to help. Maybe I'm being nitpicky, but there are photos where she's in the background with her arms crossed and an annoyed expression. Body language is important! There were several times where I was trying to get into a dress with a lot of material, and the room was just too small. After putting in clips, she just left to open the curtain and didn't check to make sure I could walk out. Another time I was in the middle of talking/giving feedback on the dress inside the room and she just left. Near the end, she was trying to sell the upcoming trunk show and even asking if I follow them on instagram, if I use instagram, and since I do I should follow them. It was like a 5 minute talk that I honestly started zoning out on lol I found it ridiculous when she pushed back on disagreeing I'd need a reception dress if I went for a fitted silhouette. I could barely walk outside the room and onto the podium--how the heck can I even dance in the dress? I'm not other brides, it doesn't matter if a lot of them can dance in this type of dress. If I want a reception dress, I'll put time in the schedule for it to happen. This was also the second appointment of the day for me, so experiencing all these things made me really tired and want to leave asap. I've been to 2 other dress appointments and every stylist was very hands on. I was well taken care of from going into the fitting room, stepping out, and also onto the podium. They weren't trying to hard sell me a dress and respected my wishes, dress feedback, and decisions. This was a disappointing experience and deterred me from considering buying a dress from here. Please train your stylists on quality customer service that focuses on listening to brides and not insisting your own opinions. This is supposed to be a fun and pleasant experience! I want to give this place the benefit of the doubt, but I cannot confidently recommend this boutique should future friends get Courtney again. read more

I came in to buy my dress back in July 2025. My stylist was Christina and she was so nice, genuine and helpful! I told her what I liked and where I was getting married and she let me look around and pick options. She actually is the one who picked out the dress I said yes to! Everyone at the store was helpful and nice. I am glad I was able to pay my dress in payment plans! Every time I texted with a question or wanted to make another payment, they responded very quickly. The dress also arrived sooner than we expected. I went to 6 bridal boutiques before I found my dress at J'aime Bridal. I also didn't feel pressured at all to say yes, which I appreciate. J'aime bridal was the best first bridal boutique experience! I always thought we were limited in how many dresses to try, and we had to choose our own dresses while looking through the racks, but I felt so taken care of by Jen when she asked my preference in style, price range, and where my venue is. She then went to working and brought around 6-7 dresses already. I liked that she chose because she knows the inventory better than me. Jen was so sweet and was very knowledgeable. She knew when I didn't love something and took that into consideration. She never rushed me or my guests. We went through soooo many dresses in just 2 hours! Their dresses were definitely affordable for a 2k budget. They have a good variety of dresses, but maybe not as many crepe form fitting/column dresses. I would definitely stop by to try as many dress styles as possible! Also to note it was $50 to book the appointment with the senior stylist. She was also very knowledgeable of the different styles and what might look good on my daughter. She chose about 6 different dresses to start, and the winner was in that first round of dresses. I had my second ever bridal appointment here and first where I really felt I could walk home in one of the gowns! I ended up finding my YES here during my Martina Liana partnership - during the trunk show, I found plenty of options I loved and really enjoyed the hospitality from Jaime. The shop and restroom were clean, my guests were comfortable, we were served champagne upon request and advised on the best times to visit the store based on other activity/traffic when booking. I appreciate their phone calls and email confirmations. Jaime made sure I never felt rushed and I appreciate that because I always came with very opinionated parties or wanted to capture a lot of photos and videos to go home with / research. They had plenty veils to compare as well, as Jaime always offered to help me get in / out of dresses and re-bustle / hang them so I wasn't struggling. When styling, Jaime made a ton of helpful suggestions or physical adjustments / found answers to every question we had. I felt respected & ultimately like I received "princess treatment"!! Highly recommend J'aime's Bridal to any bride-to-be! When my now husband and I decided to get married at SF City Hall and I had a 4 month time frame to find a dress, I was so worried that I wouldn't find a bridal store that could accommodate me. I called J'aime's bridal and to my surprise the owner Jaime answered the phone. I explained the time crunch I was in for a dress and she totally eased my worries and let me know that with their boutique this was completely doable. I booked an appointment and Jaime said that she would schedule herself to help me find a dress. I sent pictures of the dresses I liked in advance and probably tried on 20 dresses during my appointment. Their dresses are stunning and they have so many different style options. I found the one that day along with a veil! Since I don't live in the area, Jamie also was able to store my dress at the shop until I was able to travel there to try it on. I was so grateful, since I live in Southern California and it would have been challenging for me to travel up when it arrived. When I did schedule my appointment to try on the dress, it was about a month out from the wedding and it was clear once the dress was on that it would need some alterations. Jamie was able to schedule the seamstress to come out that day, given that I was only in town for the weekend, to take the measurements. I only came here for wedding dress preservation, so this review is based on the experience I had dropping my dress off for that service. I've seen this shop for years and always thought it was beautiful, unfortunately I had some extenuating circumstances that prevented me from being able to shop here for my wedding gown itself. I came on a weekday early afternoon, there were no other customers but the business owner and a younger woman were in the shop. The younger woman helped me and the owner was right next to her at the front desk area. I was friendly and tried to make some small talk (I absolutely adore wedding dresses and the wedding industry) but got very unwelcoming, cold vibes, especially from the owner. After trying multiple shops I can confidently say I felt the most comfortable here and I believe so will my fellow bride-to-be. -The shop itself is charming, had a welcoming vibe and big dressing rooms. A comfortable area for guests, a beautiful selection of dresses to choose from and champagne -The stylists are friendly, knowledgeable and SO patient! Highly recommend J'aime Bridal for your wedding dress! I ended up doing a rapidfire weekend of dress shopping with my mother in law and maid of honor, feeling under pressure to get something quickly to leave enough time for shipping and tailoring. We went to a few different places in the area and I just wasn't feeling the dresses that I tried on - nothing I loved. Enter J'aime: they have a diverse selection of dresses, and a team that gave me a few different styles to try on where I felt like I was able to get a sense of the things I liked, without being SO overwhelmed that we needed to try on the entire shop. I ended up gravitating towards the dress that I purchased, which was beautiful! Closer to the wedding, when I tried the fitted dress on, it struck me that this is an outdoor wedding, the dress was much longer and many more layers than I initially sought to purchase, and I became SUPER nervous that it was just way too much. At my second fitting I had a mild panic attack upon seeing the bustle -- and it struck me that I might be struggling to move around and it had an old fashioned look that just didn't feel like me. I had to fly to the east coast for my wedding in two weeks, so... anyway, you get the idea :P Jaime was basically a superhero in getting my dress from this place to one I felt great in on my wedding day! We removed a couple layers from the dress, shortened the train, and then she created a custom bustle for me that was narrower in the back and felt more "me". Jaime went above and beyond spending a couple hours with me in the evening, on-the-spot designing the bustle & sewing on the hooks and modifying so it worked well. She created a diagram and video for my bridesmaids for how to do it day of. We practiced it the day before and during the wedding bustled it up no problem! This was one of the wedding boutiques I went to to find the perfect dress. I came with my sister and mother in law and unfortunately we had a bad experience. When we got to the store, we waited in front for about 10 minutes until someone greeted us. When it was finally my turn, we all picked a few dresses I could try on and I was telling my stylist what style of dress I was looking for. She said she would try to find something that would suit me. While I was trying on dresses, I felt incredibly rushed. She literally kept opening my curtain every few seconds I'm not even exaggerating. I eventually asked her to give me a heads up before she opened the curtain 'cause I felt uncomfortable. She didn't listen and kept opening it... she made a comment and said we're all ladies here. Uhh yes I know but showing my personal assets to other people make me uncomfortable. When I would go out to show the dresses I tried on to my family, I would ask if the lady could fix the strap or make some dresses a little tighter so I could see how it looks like on me. She didn't even try, she just said "that's how these dress samples are"... had to be the worst customer service ever. Even my SIL and MIL agreed it was so bad. Ladies, just go here! I swear!! I initially thought this place was going to be small but WHOA they have a huge selection! Way more variety than I ever expected! Found my dress today and Courtney was the BEST to work with! I had gone to MULTIPLE places before in Walnut Creek and SF and I never imagined the perfect place would be right up the street! Courtney listened to what I was looking for (which was pretty vague tbh since I still wasn't 100% sure) and she nailed it, every dress I tried on was perfect for my body type and the venue. I really felt like she listened to me and took my venue into account! She wasn't pushy at all like some of the other places I went to, she really guided me and let me fall in love with my perfect dress, no pressure at all! I had the most amazing experience with Brittaney at J'aime Bridal during the latest Martina Liana trunk show! I was interested in a specific dress but the optimizer in me wanted to explore all kinds of potential adjustments - modifying the skirt, adding a basque waist, changing the lining color, making it backless etc - there's simply no way I could have done it without Brittaney! I'd been to 4 other major bridal shops in the Bay Area and thought they were perfectly nice, but after visiting J'aime it's clear they're on totally different levels! For example, here's how conversations would go at other shops vs at J'aime: Me: "I'd like this A-line dress to have a fuller skirt." Every other bridal salon: "I think we can probably do that." Brittney: "Awesome! Here, try this underskirt on so you can see what it would actually look like and how it would feel. We can do it as a built-in layer, or a removable one to give you more freedom while dancing. If we do a removable underskirt, we have to take the side slit into consideration. Here's how we could add hidden buttons to close the slit while you're wearing the extra layer so it's not an issue." She helped me actually understand what I was asking for and why, thought of all kinds of things I would have otherwise overlooked, masterfully explained how all the different variables would impact each other, and ultimately helped me perfect a design I'm *wildly* in love with! Not only is she a master of design and customizations, she's also a really lovely person who cares about her brides! After our appointment, I followed up to make a small tweak, and she immediately called me to better understand (and to make sure the change was really coming from me and for the right reasons!) It was a very thoughtful and kind gesture that showed she cared about more than just the dress! J'aime is simply the best and all Bay Area brides should add it to their list! read more

What an amazing experience! I was referred to J'aime because I was looking for a particular dress in a brand that they carry. When I called, I spoke to Courtney and she was so helpful, she was able to locate the dress and have it sent to the store so I could try it on, along with others that they have in-store. When I went for my appointment I worked with Courtney again and she was fantastic! She listened to my ideas for styles, asked great questions and had a very nice calm presence. It turns out the dress I went in for was not 'the one', but her intuition was spot on, I ended up choosing a dress that she picked. I came dress shopping during a trunk show which I had no idea what this was about until I got there. All the dresses were great but I was looking for a dress with pockets to help me cope with my anxiety on my wedding day. I found a few dresses with pockets and a dress that did not have pockets. The sales person Courtney and the representative of Essense of Australia said that pockets could be added to the dress in alterations ( I was never offered a quote) I moved forward the dress with no pockets with the assumption that pockets could be added. Months later my dress arrived (cause my dress was behind on its original arrival date) I scheduled my first appointment with their in house seamstress Toma, she was not welcoming and didn't help me in or out of my dress and would sit on her phone for a few minutes prior to asking me if I need her to zip my dress as if someone else was going to zip it when it was just her and myself a couple fittings. The first fitting she told me that pockets were not an option for my dress cause of the fabric which absolutely broke my heart cause the sales people said it was possible, the next fitting she said $180 for each pocket and that it wouldn't be able to hold anything. Everything was a hassle and very costly my alteration total was $895. She had to take the corset in and add additional bones which actually caused many bruises and scratches on my lower back, side and abdominal areas on my wedding day. Before getting a dress here or any place ask for an alteration quote! Get everything in writing and make sure they make notes, I had a custom veil created with the extra lace that came with my dress and the employee that assisted me said it would be around $175 for the beaded veil but actually cost $375 for just a plain beaded cathedral veil on top of a $200 alteration fee to add the lace on to my veil which looked pretty sloppy. Overall was disappointed in the experience and hated my dress. read more

I came in asking for a design and left choosing something different because I just didn't like how the others looked like and I appreciate they helping me figure that out. She told me that their sample sizes for try on were not all size 2-4 which was exactly what I liked because I'm not the skinniest nor am I fat but I wanted to feel comfortable and know how well a dress would fit. I booked an appointment here a few weeks after I went to flares bridal and they had a huge selection of dresses and I don't remember who my stylist was but she was amazing! I was upfront with her and told her I really liked this other dress I tried in at flares but I also wanted to see some other dress styles that I didn't try on there. She was so amazing pulling dresses that she thought I would like. I loved the tiered layered gowns and she did a great job pulling some and some strapless and trumpet gowns. I eventually re-tried the gown that I loved at the other store and it was a larger sample size so it fit me way better. I ended up ordering with Jaime because they also offered a discount for it being my first appointment with them and they gave me a list of alterations people they work with. It was easy and fast with them! I loved the whole experience and even going back to get my dress preserved with their service was a piece of cake! I had a bridal appointment with J'aime & had a great experience. I didn't end up getting my wedding dress from here, but I couldn't stop thinking about the beautiful veil that I tried on. With our wedding date coming up soon - the store was willing to sell me the veil off the rack rather than being pressed for time with ordering one. When I arrived to pick up the veil, there was a minor adjustment that I didn't realize wasn't originally included. The owner, Jaime, fixed this on the spot and & truly went above and beyond to ensure that I had the veil I envisioned. I'm so grateful for her amazing customer service!! read more

As maid of honor for my bestie of course I had to come wedding dress shopping. So she made an appointment for 2pm on a Sunday and we had a 90 minute timeslot. She did a lot of research and chose this place because a lot of people she personally knew got lucky and found their wedding dresses here. Prior to us coming bestie created a profile and already had some dresses in mind to try and the shop was able to pull 4 dresses that she liked from what she had found online. I was impressed because she came super prepared and the shop delivered. Our assistant was Courtney and she was nice. She listened to what Nicole liked and didn't like. And was very helpful and had some good points on what would look better in photography on the day of. We ended up possibly finding THE dress and it so happened to be the very first dress she tried on lol . She got lucky but bc it seemed like it came too easy well still be checking out a few other shops to be sure. Was visiting to take my best friend wedding dress shopping, and this was the boutique she picked. A couple things - for starters, it was a great experience. Courtney was super helpful and flexible (the bride is nervous around new people and Courtney had no issue allowing me to be in the dressing room with her handling the changing). She had great recommendations, was very patient, and kind. The store wasn't huge, which was one of my complaints. Every bride is different, but we were surrounded by multiple brides. It didn't feel as special since there were people all around us. I know the business needs to make money, but maybe dividers, or reducing the amount of appointments at once would combat this. Personally, I wouldn't want to try on dresses here. As for the selection, it was great. They had styles for everyone depending on what you want. Beautiful options in a great price range. BUT another complaint was they had a certain rack, which was about 50% of their dresses in store, that you could NOT take photos of. Half the fun/decision making is seeing photos of yourself in the dresses. This was a huge disappointment that I have never had to deal with (even working with specific designers for my sisters wedding). My best friend had a great experience, but being a bridesmaid plenty of other times, this isn't an experience that I would have fully enjoyed. read more

I love all their dresses. I've been looking for a bridal store with laces and they have it all here. I bought my wedding dress about a year ago, and I love it. My dress looked amazing on my wedding day. They also have in-house alteration which is great, so you don't have to look for a place to get your dress altered. It's one less thing you have to worry about as a bride. The dress here are affordable. Most dresses here are around $500-$2000, depending on the type of style you're going for. They also have sample sales which is great. If you're lucky, you might find your dream dress under $500. Most of their dresses are size 10-14, not much for petite people. I'm usually a size 3-4 (street size), and I had to order my dress to be shipped to the store. Don't wait until last minute to order your dress. I was cutting close when I ordered it. Took about 4-6 weeks to be delivered and don't forget you need to get it altered and that's addition 3-6 weeks. I didn't get to take my dress home until a week before my wedding day. That's cutting close. My experience here was great. Staff was super nice and helpful. I highly recommend getting your dress here if you love laces and design. read more

I am so honored to be able to write this review. Visiting and finding my dream dress at J'aime Bridal was by far the smoothest and most enjoyable moment of wedding planning. When I first got engaged, I was not excited about dress shopping. My bridal party and family pressured me to go dress shopping and I just felt the need to "get it over with". After a few failed attempts and bad experiences I decided to make an appointment to go dress shopping myself at J'aime. I was very hesitant to go in because of my previous experiences but the moment I walked in the team was so sweet! I was assisted by Kat. She asked me what style I like and asked me to walk around the shop with her to see what styles I was interested in. To my surprise, the dress I was most interested in was actually a tester dress by Essense of Australia. I tried on a few dresses but the moment I stepped into this Essense dress it was game over. I knew this was my dress. While in the dress several brides and other employees came over to me and told me that this was my dress and that it looked beautiful on me. I called my man of honor to come over and he cried the moment he saw the dress and veil on. I got the dress back in less than 6 months! Britt helped me find the most beautiful cathedral veil. Toma did the alterations and added extra lace detailing at the top of my dress. The entire J'aime team was amazing to work with. My sister purchased her dress her 2018 for her wedding in the spring of 2019. Jaime helped her find the most amazing dress. It was 100% her and I couldn't have designed a better dress for her myself. Fast forward to 2 weeks ago. My cousin was getting married and the dress I planned to wear was a little bit too snug. I did what any reasonable person did...go find another bridesmaid dress.
