The Clothes are nice value. The services wonderful. The selection is wide range. I have shopped there very often.

Great shop. Really interesting clothes. The sisters have super customer service. And the prices are super reasonable.

Great customer service Great selection Great overall vibes I've been popping in for some years now and just noticed as I went to share their info with someone that they don't have many reviews so here I am lol Love it here period!! read more

The owner goes out of her way to be helpful even if she doesn't have what you're looking for. The clothes are very cute. I always find adorable vacation sundresses here and the accessories are on trend. Go there. read more

Guess what, I haven't even visited the store yet. Five stars for the business owner Zinzie. I called on Sunday around 3 PM to see if they we're open. After a few rings, Zinzie answered the phone and let me know her hours throughout the week and I noticed that today they are closed. Zinzie still answer the phone and was pleasant enough during the entire conversation on her day off. turns out, what I was looking for, they didn't have in the store anyway after our discussion, so she instead made three recommendations of other businesses/competitors that might be better suited for my request. She gave me their addresses and described their goods. She also asked for my wife's dress size and said she would be on the lookout for something specific. She said she would text us as well. She gets five stars for going the extra effort so I look forward to ultimately doing business in this store. These days, most retail personnel are either yes or no responses, they don't usually take time to really satisfy the needs of a customer. read more

Stopped in here on a whim when walking in the neighborhood. So glad I did! I immediately found 3 very cute dresses that were unique in style and patterns. The owner was very friendly and helpful and prices extremely reasonable. I'll be coming here more to find unique styles that you can get anywhere else! read more

I've been eyeing some of the dresses displayed in the window for months and finally decided to purchase a dress for my wife on our anniversary. I couldn't be happier with the service and price of the dress. I was also surprised to receive a lovely gift bag with my purchase! My wife loves the gift and I will definitely be back to shop for her! Thanks! read more

Mizaan - Dress - Women's Clothing Near Me - Oakland, California

Beautiful quality pieces of clothing. I love it here!!! The owners are extremely helpful and patient.

Cute styles, good prices, nice staff. Parking lot adjacent... free! Clothes, handbags and jewelry.

I stopped in because the outfits on mannies in the store display looked made for my best friend. The collection is beautiful and the salespeople are very helpful and so fashionable. :) read more

This shop is a gem! If you're looking to buy a gift for a loved one and want something that feels unique, cute, and is great quality make your way over! I am constantly finding new pieces when i visit. Just bought a sweater that i live in because it is warm, comfortable, and hella cute. The staff is great as well! Friendly and helpful. It feels so good shop here unlike big stores that are stressful and overwhelming. They have sanitizer at the door and I always feel very safe shopping here. read more

I bought my favorite pair of earrings EVER in life at this store. And when one broke I stalked the store for years. The clothing is affordable, and cute. The owners are lovely women who are about supporting and being accessible to their community. I legit bought a linen dress here that was a show stopper; and I couldn't even take "think" time cause another patron was trying to scoop it up! read more

Shop owner and employee are very helpful and never make me feel uncomfortable, not the pushy sales kind. They helped me find some bracelets for a group gift. Unique items! I bought a long ripped denim coat unlike any design I've ever seen, which I get compliments on. Whether you're looking for casual or a little dressy, this shop fits the bill. At $69 for the coat and tasteful well-constructed accessories ranging from $15-30, the prices are so reasonable. A lot of their fabrics seem to be African-inspired (if not sourced directly from there, please excuse my ignorance), which adds another element of uniqueness not seen in chain retailers. Such a gem. I'm so glad I had joined the Planet Fitness across the street and finally came in. read more

This boutique offers one everything one is looking for and so much more. Excellent customer service and good prices as well.

I've never given a Yelp review before, but I have to shout out my favorite boutique! For years I've shopped here and have never been disappointed. The clothes are of good quality and the customer service matches the merchandise! I get so many compliments on everything I've purchased from there try to tell everyone that asks about my pieces, to shop there!! read more

This is a great store nestled in the Laurel District. I've bought a couple of tops here, but their earring/jewelry selection is the best...and now I know why. The owner's daughter makes the majority of the earrings herself. I went in looking for a pair of earrings to go with this swanky dress I got for a wedding and didn't see anything that was exactly right. The gal behind the counter said that she could put something together for me from 2 pairs that were already made, but I'd have to wait while she went and got her tools. Amazing! Where else can you go that they would drop what they're doing to stop and make a custom pair of earrings for me....and only charge $25?! Love these ladies! The earrings were perfect and finished in less than 45 minutes. Thanks for making me look fabulous darhlings! read more

Well, here it is! The first business that has inspired me to write a yelp review. I recently moved to Oakland near the Laurel District, and saw this boutique while shopping at the Lucky's across the street. The clothes were super cute (similar styles as Urban Outfitters, Forever 21, etc.) and very reasonably priced (jewelry $7-$25, dresses $16-$36, jackets $32ish and up). I raided the sale rack at the back of the store and walked away with some awesome finds. I can't wait to take my sister and mom here, because the diverse selection provides pieces that each of us would like (everything from conservative and casual to sexy and dressed-up). Having such a cute store so close to my house is going to be dangerous! read more

Every Wednesday, I wander around the Laurel while waiting for the kiddo to get out of guitar lessons (with her fantastic teacher, search Raphi Gottesman). Recently I finally went into Mizaan (I had been on a little clothes shopping hiatus which is now, thankfully OVER!). I LOVE this shop. Beautiful, affordable clothes and accessories and warm, friendly staff. Reminds me of Collage that used to be on Lakeshore and has (sigh) closed. It has a larger floor plan though and so has a larger selection - yay! I can't wait until my self imposed accessories hiatus is over too) They have a wide range of sizes available also and a good amount of large and up which feels like it always sell out first elsewhere. Best yet - asked today and they told me the business is family owned and run! This is local at its best. I will keep coming back and pepper my wardrobe with lovely things from Mizaan. Now if only they sold shoes too! read more

Before I start, I need to self proclaim myself as the queen of deals. A couple months back my sister's roommate saw me and complemented me on my entire outfit. Here's the conversation... Her: Hey Judy I like your puma bag... Me: Thanks I got it at Marshall's for $6.99 Her: Cute shorts too Me: Ross for $3.99 and the tank top for $5.99 Her: dannnnnggg...*speechless* Me: *taking out my wallet to pay for something* Her: I like your wallet too Me: "Walmart...$10.00" Her: "What the hell...how do you find these deals?" Me: "I dunno...they find me hahahahaha" Now here is a prime example...I had to go to the bank to get crispy $1 for a lei I was making for my friend. On my way back to the parking lot I had to pass by. You know in the movie Confessions of a Shop-a-Holic when the mannequins start moving and showing off their outfits...it was kinda like that...except these mannequins were dancing. They were strutting it with a little more hood...to Dorrough - Ice Cream Paint Job. I looked over at my friend Katie "Should We?"..."Yeahhh Buddy!!!". I went straight for the sale rack and found this orange little number cute as can be perfect for my upcoming Hawaii trip. I flipped to look at the tag and saw $7...I looked at it closer...can't be....no way...maybe its supposed to be $17. Oh no girlfriend...it rang up $7...YESSSSS!!! She put it in a cute clear gift bag with dots and made it all pretty with pretty purple tissue paper (my favorite color...extra points!). Disclaimer: Not everything in here is that cheap. They've got bangles from $12-26 dollars. Bags up to $60 dollars. Jackets $60-100 dollars. Maybe that day was just my lucky day... read more

The storefront window always features the cutest outfits, and when I popped in to check out this adorable brown dress it was only $36! (Hey, even my broke ass was okay with that.) The store is small and appealingly-organized, and has accessories and small gifts as well as clothing. Especially nice to see in the Laurel since the previous owners of this shop (under another name) only sold cards and things, I believe. We need more cool local merchants AND we need cute clothes! Addendum: I have since bought three handbags, two pairs of earrings, two bracelets, two dresses, the PERFECT pair of jeans, and a cute blouse as a gift for one of my best girlfriends! I LOVE this store. Everyone is so helpful and sweet. Whenever I want to feel beautiful, I go to Mizaan. :) read more

A cute surprise! I really liked the selection at this boutique that's sandwiched between Bank of America and Ace Hardware's parking lot. They had a lot of cute tops, dresses, and accessories, at pretty reasonable prices (I'm helllllla cheap, so probably most of you would consider their prices extremely affordable.) The owner was really nice and the vibe was very down-to-earth and comfortable -- no "you're not hip enough to be shopping here" feeling like you get in, say, Hayes Valley. Nothing I tried on fit me, but I'll be back. read more

I'd been meaning to stop in for a while now and finally made it in... This little boutique is awesome! Cute and current clothing and accessories that are really reasonably priced. Every time I've been in, the staff has been very friendly and helpful. I'm definitely going to become a repeat offender. Great looks, great deals. read more

Mizaan made me so happy this weekend. I hadn't bought any clothes for a LONG time and needed a boost after these months of COVID-19. Wow. They did not disappoint. I bought a eye catching unique dress and a likewise interesting top and was so tempted by other items. I love that it's a medium size shop and my size 16 self could find plenty to choose from. Completely recommend. read more

This is my go to boutique for handmade jewelry, accessories and more. The women are nice, helpful, grateful and fashion savvy. Can't sleep on this place to find unique gifts for all occasions! read more

Mizaan!!! This place is the greatest. The items that I have purchased I SOOOOOOOOOOOOO many compliments. Pricing is key for everything. Their pricing is right in line with my budget (that is when I stay within the budget) They have everyone's sizes from XS-3X. I like that because everyone can shop there and they don't seperate the sizes, so no matter what your size you are bound to find the perfect outfit. Another point, they know their inventory, if they don't have it, if possible they will order more TOO SWEET!!! The staff is very pleasant, warm and welcoming. I believe I always deal with Shada, she speaks to me as though I am a good friend. Amazingly, she does this with everyone that comes to the store. I would like to see a WEBSITE and perhaps open on Mondays read more

Wonderful family owned store with excellent customer service. I use to shop there every week however I had to slow it down. I didn't want to neglect some other stores that I also shop at as well. They have some wonderful hand bags, candles, soap, body lotion and oils, clothing, hats, and earrings. I encourage everyone to come on down and check out this lovely store. Make sure to bring all your friends with you when shopping at Mizaan. In case you happen to run low on funds, Bank of America is right next door with serveral ATM's. Make sure to let them know that Ms Lux sent you too. Smiles and happy shopping read more

I happened to walk by on my way to Ace Hardware when a couple of the purses in the window caught my eye. I popped in and was warmly greeted. The sales associate was very helpful without being intrusive. I bought my bag as well as top. Received lots of compliments on both! I've been back several times since and always ended up with a bag of goodies. The selection is fun, up to date and reasonably priced. The accessories are unique and make great gifts! The owners are wonderful. In addition to the great service, they are committed to the neighborhood. Be sure to check out Mizaan! read more

This is a great little store! Their clothes are so cute and trendy but wearable. The bag selection is phenomenal. I want them all! I had to stop going inside because I bought something every single time I went in. The prices are great. This isn't "investment dressing" stuff but fun clothes at really good prices. Great jewelry too! The service is excellent and they do package it up in cute purple paper and bag. The only issue I have is that they aren't open sometimes when they are supposed to be. Otherwise I am just sick in love with this little store. read more

I can always count on finding a great piece of jewelry or clothing here. The family who own it is very helpful too.
